Method of installing half-spool accessory in a cable manager
A cable manager includes a backbone assembly and at least one side wall extending from the backbone assembly. The at least one side wall optionally includes one or more cable finger units. The backbone assembly includes a spine member having an extruded construction. The spine member includes one or more channels extending substantially an entire length thereof to facilitate easy attachment, removal and/or repositioning of a structure relative to the spine member. The cable manager optionally includes an accessory rod, a half-spool assembly, a cable finger accessory, a strap/buckle accessory, and/or a door assembly having an interference-free hinge set.
Systems and methods for modular cabinet cable pass-through
Systems and methods for modular cabinet cable pass through are disclosed. A system may include a first lead modular plate having a U-shape and a first and a second follower modular plate, each of the first and the second follower modular plates having a U-shape and having a first follower modular plate leg and a second follower modular plate leg and a second plate portion therebetween, the second follower modular plate leg being longer than the first follower modular plates leg, and a bottom plate that receives at least a portion of the first lead modular plate, and the second follower modular plate legs of the first and the second follower modular plates. At least one cable may pass between an opening defined by the bottom plate and one of the first follower plate and the second follower plate.
Server constructed with trays for hard disk modules
A server containing hard disk modules which can be slid into place and which allow connection at the front and at the rear of a housing. The server includes the housing which defines an opening, the hard disk modules, and a plurality of trays. Receiving channels communicating with the opening are defined in the housing, the receiving channels are isolated and arranged side by side and each channel can receive one tray. A hard disk module is positioned in one tray, a front end and a rear end of the housing defines front connection port and rear connection port for cable connections to each hard disk module.
PLENUM TO DELIVER COOL AIR AND ROUTE MULTIPLE CABLES
Examples herein disclose a plenum. The plenum includes an enclosed structure to deliver cool air to multiple enclosures within a rack and multiple cables to route to the multiple enclosures within the rack. The plenum further includes a connector to attach the multiple cables in the plenum to one of the multiple enclosures.
CABLE MANAGEMENT BRACKET AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A cable management bracket includes a frame and a buckle member. The frame includes a first side portion and a second side portion, wherein the first side portion is opposite to the second side portion. The first side portion has a pivot hole, a first restraining portion and a second restraining portion, wherein the first restraining portion is located between the pivot hole and the second restraining portion. The second side portion has a first engaging portion. The buckle member includes a pivot portion and a second engaging portion. The pivot portion is inserted into the pivot hole and sandwiched in between the first restraining portion and the second restraining portion. The second engaging portion is rotatably engaged with the first engaging portion.
Techniques to configure physical compute resources for workloads via circuit switching
Embodiments are generally directed apparatuses, methods, techniques and so forth to select two or more processing units of the plurality of processing units to process a workload, and configure a circuit switch to link the two or more processing units to process the workload, the two or more processing units each linked to each other via paths of communication and the circuit switch.
Support assembly and cable management kit
A support assembly includes a first slide rail assembly, a second slide rail assembly, a carried object, a first cable management device and a second cable management device. The first cable management device is mounted to the first slide rail assembly and the second slide rail assembly. The first cable management device includes a first cross bar and a second cross bar movably connected to the first cross bar. The first cross bar is further connected to the first slide rail assembly and the second cross bar is further connected to the first slide rail assembly. The present invention further discloses a cable management kit which includes the first cable management device and the second cable management device.
RACK SYSTEM AND SLIDE RAIL ASSEMBLIES THEREOF
A rack system includes first and second slide rail assemblies mounted respectively on first and second posts of a rack. The first and second posts define a width therebetween. Each slide rail assembly includes a first rail with a first channel, a second rail displaceable with respect to the first rail, and a third rail movably provided between the first channel of the first rail and the second rail. The first rail of each slide rail assembly has a rail-thickness-wise cross section outside the space in which the width defined by the rack extends, whereas the second and third rails of each slide rail assembly are within the space in which the width defined by the rack extends.
Top-Down/Bottom-Up Enclosure Cabling
Mechanisms are provided for cabling a set of enclosures. Using a set of cables that comprises eight physical layers (PHYs), the set of enclosures are coupled together such that: for a first enclosure and each intermediate enclosure in the set of enclosures, at least four PHYs of the eight PHYs terminate within a Serial Attached Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) (SAS) expander of the first enclosure and a SAS expander of each intermediate enclosure white passing through a remaining four PHYs of the eight PHYs without connecting to the respective SAS expander; and, for a last enclosure in the set of enclosures, all of the eight PHYs terminate in the SAS expander of the last enclosure.
Fixing unit, a moveable assembly, a base unit and a method for releasing a moveable assembly
The invention is based on a fixing unit (20, 20a) for reversibly fixing a moveable unit (18, 18a). For the purpose of providing a fixing unit with improved characteristics regarding flexibility, construction and/or a fixation, it is proposed that the fixing unit (20, 20a) is moveable parallel to a move direction (28, 28a) of the moveable unit (18, 18a) into a release position in order to release the moveable unit (18, 18a) from a guiding rail (26, 26a).
