BATTERY MODULE
A battery module including: a battery cell having opposite top and bottom surfaces, a long side surface extending between the top surface and the bottom surface, and a shot side surface extending between the top surface, the bottom surface, and the long side surface, the battery cell including a terminal on the top surface; an end plate having an end area in contact with the long side surface of the battery cell and an end flange bent from a lower end of the end area in a direction away from the long side surface; and a side plate having a side area in contact with the short side surface of the battery cell, a side flange bent from a lower end of the side area to cover the bottom surface of the battery cell, and a side binder extending from the side flange and coupled to the end flange.
Vehicle battery tray having tub-based component
A battery tray for an electric vehicle includes a tub component that has a floor portion and a perimeter wall portion that integrally extends upward around a peripheral edge of the floor portion to border a battery containment area of the tub component. The tub component may include a plurality of cross member portions that integrally interconnect with the floor portion and the perimeter wall portion so as to span laterally across the battery containment area to divide the battery containment area into separate compartments. A support structure of the battery tray may have an elongated member coupled at an exterior side of each of opposing longitudinal sections of the perimeter wall portion of the tub component.

Vehicle battery housing, vehicle battery pack and electric vehicle
A vehicle battery housing which enables an electric vehicle to have an increased battery on-board capacity. The vehicle battery housing is mounted on a vehicle having a ladder frame and includes a first battery accommodating portion arranged in a first space between two side rails constituting the ladder frame and a second battery accommodating portion greater in vehicle-widthwise dimension than the first battery accommodating portion and connected to the first battery accommodating portion to be located in a second space vehicle-heightwise below the first space.
BATTERY PACK AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE
This application relates a battery pack and an electric vehicle. The battery pack includes a housing provided with a bottom surface and a top surface. A battery assembly is arranged in the housing. The battery assembly includes a structural reinforcing member and a cell sequence formed by connecting multiple cells. An outer surface of the cell includes a bottom surface, a top surface, first lateral surfaces, and two opposing second lateral surface. The bottom surface of the cell faces the bottom surface of the housing, and the top surface of the cell faces the top surface of the housing. The first lateral surface has a largest area. The multiple cells are arranged with second lateral surfaces thereof facing each other to form the cell sequence, and the structural reinforcing member is fixedly bonded with a first lateral surface of each cell in the cell sequence. The battery assembly abuts with the bottom surface of the housing to be supported in the housing.
CELL MODULE ASSEMBLIES BATTERY PACK
A battery pack includes a battery housing, a positive terminal, a negative terminal, a plurality of cell module assemblies, and a battery management system. The plurality of cell module assemblies are received within an internal cavity of the battery housing, and include a plurality of lithium-ion battery cells that are connected in parallel. The battery management system is in communication with at least one of the plurality of cell module assemblies within the internal cavity, and is structured to receive a voltage tap measurement from each of the plurality of cell module assemblies within the internal cavity, compare the voltage tap measurement from each of the plurality of cell module assemblies to an expected voltage tap measurement, and determine if a voltage tap measurement for a cell module assembly within the plurality of cell module assemblies deviates from the expected voltage tap measurement to identify a faulty cell module assembly.
