SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EVALUATING BLOOD CIRCULATION AND EARLY DETECTION OF CARDIOVASCULAR ISSUES
Systems and methods are provided for blood circulation evaluation by providing a measurement device collection in communication with a thermal exchange device comprising an appendage chamber having a thermal exchange member. The measurement device collection may measure patient information such as height, weight, temperature, pulse, and/or blood pressure, and transmit the patient information to the thermal exchange device to estimate patient blood volume based on the patient information. Blood flowing through the arteriovenous anastomosis (AVA) of the appendage may be heated or cooled at the thermal exchange member for therapeutic application of thermal energy to adjust blood viscosity in the human to alleviate symptoms associated with a number of autoimmune, circulatory, neurological, lymphatic, and endocrinal maladies. The thermal exchange device may calculate a patient circulation rating based on the estimated blood volume, thermal transfer energy over a specific time period or thermal transfer at various locations throughout the body, and a baseline circulation rating, and generate an alert if the patient circulation rating falls outside a predetermined threshold.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING ANALYTES FROM A USER'S SKIN
An apparatus, method and system wherein the apparatus comprises: a pump comprising an attachment portion configured to enable the pump to be attached to a user's skin, wherein the pump is configured to draw analytes from the user's body into the apparatus by reducing pressure on the user's skin in an area covered by the pump; at least one detector configured to detect one or more analytes or combinations of analytes which are drawn into the apparatus; the apparatus being arranged to be coupled to a controller to enable the pressure on the user's skin to be adjusted.
SYSTEM FOR MONITORING BODY CHEMISTRY
A system and method for monitoring body chemistry of a user, the system comprising: a housing supporting: a microsensor comprising a first and second working electrode, a reference electrode, and a counter electrode, and configured to access interstitial fluid of the user, and an electronics subsystem comprising a signal conditioning module that receives a signal stream, from the microsensor, wherein the electronics subsystem is configured to detect an impedance signal derived from two of the first working electrode, the second working electrode, the reference electrode, and the counter electrode; and a processing subsystem comprising: a first module configured to generate an analysis indicative of an analyte parameter of the user and derived from the signal stream and the impedance signal, and a second module configured to transmit information derived from the analysis to the user, thereby facilitating monitoring of body chemistry of the user.
Devices And Methods For Tissue Immobilization And Non-Invasive Lower Urinary Tract Analysis
Provided are devices and methods suitable for immobilizing tissue and for use in non-invasive methods of assessing lower urinary tract symptoms as well as in surgical application.
SUCTION-ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE
A suction-attachment structure includes an electrically conducting unit and a suction-attaching member. The suction-attaching member includes a base. The base has an edge from which a wall extends. The wall has an upper end forming an attaching face. The electrically conducting unit is coupled to the base of the suction-attaching member. The attaching face formed at the upper end of the wall defines a suction-attaching configuration to allow the suction-attaching member to securely hold the electrically conducting unit in position. As such, the electrically conducting unit is prevented from displacing during an operation of detection and contact engagement with a surface layer of a human body can be securely maintained for carrying out detection of physiological signals.
Wearable device and a method of manufacturing the same
The present invention relates to a wearable device (10) wearable by a user for measuring skin conductance of the user (1), the wearable device comprising at least two skin conductance electrodes (12) for contacting skin (2) of the user, and an elastic material portion (14) which surrounds the skin conductance electrodes (12) and forms a material surface (16). The elastic material of the elastic material portion (14) is non-permeable for gaseous and liquid substances. The present invention further relates to a method of manufacturing such a wearable device (10).
Sensor instrument
A sensor instrument for generation of electrocardiograms, in particular for cardiac computed tomography, has two electrodes, an electronic module and a support, wherein multiple suction elements for affixing the support to the body of a subject (are positioned on the support.
Devices and methods for tissue immobilization and non-invasive lower urinary tract analysis
Provided are devices and methods suitable for immobilizing tissue and for use in non-invasive methods of assessing lower urinary tract symptoms as well as in surgical application.
METHOD AND APPARATUS OF NON-INVASIVE BIOLOGICAL SENSING USING CONTROLLED SUCTION DEVICE
The present invention relates to systems and methods using optical or electrical spectroscopy for accurate detection and monitoring of biological tissue properties in a noninvasive manner. To perform in vivo diagnose with more accurate and repeatable measurements, an air-tight micro suction cup is placed against biological tissue under test (such as skin of a patient), around which an electrical or optical sensing system comprising excitation and detection sensors is integrated. Applying a high power suction pump over the micro cup, a negative pressure is generated to reshape the skin covered by the cup to a contour suitable for better measurement results. Most important, as the suction power increases, certain amount of blood flow or body fluid is brought to skin layer, providing great potential of improving those diagnoses that require direct analysis over these biological components.
Surgical tissue stabilizers and related methods
Provided are devices and methods suitable for immobilizing tissue and for use in non-invasive methods of assessing lower urinary tract symptoms as well as in surgical application.
