The present disclosure relates to a social network application that facilitates breaking the ice between users who are not acquainted from each other before. In one embodiment, the application comprises a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising programmable instructions adapted to be executed on one or more processors, and to perform a method of: enabling each user to select one of multiple status modes at the platform server, where each status mode dictates a certain action or counteraction that can be taken by other user or users, and each status mode allows different level of communication to be established between the users; allowing the first user to send an alert to a second user displayed on a map and/or a list; allowing the second user to change his or her status mode towards the first user based on the alert; and allowing a two-way communication to be established between the first user and the second user.

The present disclosure relate to highlighting audience members with reactions to a presenter of an online meeting. Unlike physical, fact-to-face meeting that enables spontaneous interactions among the presenter and the audiences that are collocated with the presenter, presenting materials during an online meeting raises an issue of the present not being able to see real-time reactions or feedback by the audience members. The present disclosure addresses the issue by dynamically determining one or more audience members who indicate reactions during the online meeting or presentation and displaying faces of the one or more audience members under spotlight to the presenter. The presenter sees faces of the audience members with reactions during the online presentation and responds to the audience members and keep the audience engaged. The spotlight audience server analyzes video frames and determines types of reactions of the audience members.

A method, computer system, and computer program product are provided for providing annotations in virtual presentation sessions. Content is presented to a plurality of user devices participating in a communication session. Annotations to the content are received from a plurality of users of the plurality of user devices during the communication session. A subset of one or more users is selected. The annotations associated with the subset of one or more users are provided to the plurality of user devices to cause the plurality of user devices to display the annotations of the subset of one or more users.

An example computer-implemented method includes activating a group-based communication browser session within a first display window of an apparatus. The computer-implemented method also includes transmitting an update request for the group-based communication browser session to a group-based communication system upon determining that a window focus of the apparatus is on a second display window. The computer-implemented method further includes receiving an update for the group-based communication browser session. The computer-implemented method still further includes caching the update for the group-based communication browser session via a memory of the apparatus. The computer-implemented method also includes refreshing the group-based communication browser session based at least in part on the update upon determining that the window focus of the apparatus changes to the first display window. A method is provided. The method includes based on an online meeting ending, receiving, by a user terminal, a link for creating a meeting note for the online meeting from an external device; based on a first user input of selecting the link for creating the meeting note, displaying a user interface for creating the meeting note on a display of the user terminal; receiving at least one second user input within the user interface for creating the meeting note; and transmitting information associated with the at least one second user input to the external device to control the external device to share the meeting note created based on the at least one second user input with at least one participant of the online meeting.

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide for generation of a collaborative contextual summary interface in association with an audio-video conferencing interface service. An example embodiment is configured to monitor an active audio-video conference presentation that is configured for display to participating client devices by the audio-video conferencing interface service, identify a first capture content request associated with the active audio-video conference presentation, generate a first captured content data object based at least in part on the first capture content request, correlate a first captured content interface indicator to the first captured content data object, and generate a collaborative contextual summary interface based at least in part on the first captured content data object, wherein the collaborative contextual summary interface comprises the first captured content interface indicator.

Management of web conference assets in a content management system. At the conclusion of a web conferencing session, an event is raised at the content management system. Various web conference assets (e.g., recordings) and web conference parameters are analyzed in conjunction with content management system metadata. Based on the analysis, one or more actions to perform on the web conference assets are determined. The content management system metadata may include user profile information of at least one web conference participant. Rules and/or a classification model that considers then-current conditions at the content management system are used singly, or in combination, to determine action characteristics and/or labels such as a retention period or security classifications to apply to the web conference assets. The web conference assets are stored in a hierarchical directory at the content management system. The hierarchy of the directory is derived from aspects of the web conferencing facility.

A method, computer system, and a computer program product for topic monitoring in web conferencing is provided. The present invention may include determining a topic profile for each of the plurality of virtual rooms. The present invention may include displaying, in a web conference user interface, the determined topic profile for each of the plurality of virtual rooms to a user. The present invention may include identifying one or more topics of interest of the user. The present invention may include recommending one or more virtual rooms to the user based on a commonality score between the one or more topics of interest of the user and the topic profile for each of the plurality of rooms.

Aspects described herein may allow for grouping questions received during a virtual meeting in order to present the questions to a presenter of the virtual meeting efficiently. A system may receive, during a virtual meeting, a plurality of messages each indicative of a question. The message comprises content descriptive of the question and metadata. For example, the metadata may comprise data identifying an image corresponding to the message. The system may group the plurality of messages into one or more groups, individual messages within the groups having a context in common with one another, by analyzing text and metadata of the message. The system may send data about at least one group to a first client device for output of the questions indicated by the messages of that group on the first client device.

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a process is provided, and the process includes extracting at least one message that satisfies a condition specified by a user from one or more messages in a chat room to which one or more users are allowed to write and saving the at least one extracted message or forwarding the at least one extracted message to another chat room.
