METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR PLAYING MEDIA DATA, AND DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided is a method for playing media data. The method includes: receiving a trigger instruction; generating a second count value based on a stored first count value and a preset algorithm, and storing the second count value to overwrite the first count value, wherein the second count value is different from the first count value; generating audio data carrying a pre-stored authority identifier and the second count value; and playing the audio data, wherein the audio data is configured to instruct a second terminal to acquire the authority identifier and the second count value carried in the audio data, and send the authority identifier and the second count value to a server, and the second terminal is a terminal that has received the audio data.
SECURE MANAGEMENT OF ACCOUNTS ON DISPLAY DEVICES USING A CONTACTLESS CARD
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for secure management of accounts on display devices using a contactless card. An application executing on a display device may receive a request specifying a service provider. The display device may receive a cryptogram generated a contactless card, and transmit the cryptogram to an authentication server. The authentication server may decrypt the cryptogram and generate a virtual account number associated with the contactless card. The authentication server may transmit the virtual account number to the service provider, which may create an account based at least in part on the virtual account number and the decryption of the cryptogram by the authentication server. The display may receive an authentication token generated by the service provider for the account, and access the account created by the service provider based at least in part on the authentication token.
Localized cloud services for privacy-isolated clients
Various arrangements of a local cloud system for providing television services are presented. A facility cloud host system may have a content service provider interface that is used to receive live television channel streams from a television content service provider. The local cloud system may have a transcoder that transcodes the live television channels into a format to be transmitted locally to client devices. The local cloud system may provide access to recorded content from a remote master cloud host.
User authentication
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for user authentication are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes the actions of receiving a request to access a streaming service on an electronic device. The actions further include, in response to receiving the request to access the streaming service on the electronic device, determining, by the computing device, that a subscriber device is in a vicinity of the electronic device. The actions further include, based on determining that the subscriber device is in the vicinity of the electronic device, determining, by the computing device, a user identifier associated with the subscriber device. The actions further include determining that the user identifier is associated with a valid subscription to the streaming service. The actions further include providing data to access the streaming service.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING, DISCOVERING AND SHARING STREAMING VIDEO SERVICES
A comprehensive system for assisting users of streaming services is provided. The system is implemented in a client/server environment. Users can manage their streaming service credentials, centralize their service information, discover new services and their video content, and share information with their friends and family. Budget and service optimization is provided.
System for addressing on-demand TV program content on TV services platform of a digital TV services provider
Video content is uploaded via the Internet to a video-on-demand (VOD) server identified by a title and a hierarchical address of categories and subcategories for categorizing the title. The VOD server converts and stores the video content at a storage address in a video content database linked to the title. The title is listed in a location of an electronic program guide (EPG) using the same categories and subcategories as in its hierarchical address. Any TV subscriber can access the EPG and navigate through its categories and subcategories to find a title for viewing on the TV. This can enable many new blogging or podcasting-like programs by popular “Hosts” to be self-published on the Internet and readily navigated for display on TV. The EPG can also store TV program addresses as bookmarks and allow them to be shared with other subscribers or with friends and contacts online by sending to their email addresses.
Systems and methods for seamlessly connecting devices based on relationships between the users of the respective devices
Systems and methods are described for seamlessly connecting devices based on relationships between the users of the respective devices. A media guidance application may determine that a first user has entered an environment (e.g., his/her mother's home) and may determine a frequency with which the first user enters the environment (e.g., daily). In response to determining that the first user visits frequently, the media guidance application may identify a second device in the environment (e.g., a smart TV) that a second user (e.g., the first user's mother) is authorized to grant access rights for. The media guidance application may determine a likelihood that the second user will grant the access rights for the second device to the first user, based on interaction data between the first user and the second user. In response to determining a high likelihood, the media guidance application may transmit the access rights.
Method for establishing co-hosting in live-streaming, and terminal
A method for establishing co-hosting in live-streaming is disclosed. The method includes: displaying a co-host mode setting portal in a live-streaming room of a first user account; displaying a first co-host mode, a second co-host mode, a third co-host mode in response to a trigger operation on the co-host mode setting portal, and the second user account is a viewer account in the live-streaming room; and determining a selected co-host mode as a target co-host mode for the live-streaming room in response to a select operation on any one of the first co-host mode, the second co-host mode, and the third co-host mode.
Smart notification for over-the-top (OTT) streaming among multiple devices
A system and method for notifying client devices in a subscriber account that the account is undersubscribed and no further client devices can stream media content until other client devices are no longer actively streaming media content is disclosed herein. The method comprises receiving a request to receive and play the media content from a requesting client device, the requesting client device being one of a plurality of client devices enabled to receive media content according to a subscriber account and determining if the subscriber account is undersubscribed; if the subscriber account is not undersubscribed. If the subscriber account is not undersubscribed, initiating transmission of the media content, and if the subscriber account is undersubscribed, information is transmitted to the requesting client device, the information including data indicating the subscriber account is undersubscribed without initiating the transmission of the media content.
INFORMATION DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure provides an information display control method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium, relating to the field of live streaming technology. The information display control method comprises: acquiring subject data corresponding to real-time video data being played on a target interface; according to the subject data, acquiring, from a content interactive platform, content data corresponding to the subject data; and simultaneously displaying, on the target interface, the real-time video data and the content data.
