Wager information based prioritized live event display system
A system for automatically selecting television channels based on wager information can include a set-top box, wager databases having user wager information, broadcast databases having broadcast schedule information, and a controller. The wager information can include an event identifier and a corresponding wager amount. The broadcast schedule can include a channel, a start time, and an end time for each event. The controller can include processors and memory devices having instructions that cause the processors to obtain wager information for the user from the wager databases, match each event identifier and corresponding wager amount to the broadcast schedule, determine a set of live events by comparing a current time with the start time and end time for each event, prioritize the live events based on wager amount, and send an instruction to the set-top box to display the channel corresponding to each live event in order of priority.
System for enabling a virtual theater
The disclosed virtual theater system includes capture devices for capturing video and audio of a live event and converting the video and audio into a data stream. The system also includes a production center for receiving the data stream and compressing the data stream to generate a compressed data stream, for determining the number of one or more viewing devices subscribed or reserved to view the live event, and for determining data bandwidth consumption characteristics of the one or more viewing devices. Also included is a server for receiving the compressed data stream, the number of one or more viewing devices, and the data bandwidth consumption characteristics from the production center over a network. The server also duplicates and divides the compressed data stream out to the one or more viewing devices depending on the number of viewing devices subscribed or reserved (cyberseats reserved) to view the live event.
DISTRIBUTION AND MANAGEMENT OF CONTENT FROM A MULTI-TIER CONTENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
A multi-tier content distribution system includes a first repository, a second repository, and a third repository from which to distribute content. The first repository serves as a first choice from which to distribute requested content to a requesting party. If the requested content is not available from the first repository, the multi-tier content distribution system attempts retrieval and distribution of the requested content from the second repository, which serves as a backup resource to the first repository. If the requested content is not available from the second repository, the multi-tier content distribution system attempts retrieval and distribution of the requested content from the third repository, which serves as a backup resource to the second repository. The multi-tier content distribution system includes a content management resource operable to selectively populate the second repository with pre-formatted content retrieved from the third repository.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO GENERATE PERSONALIZED BENEFIT ITEMS FOR SUBSCRIBERS OF A MEMBERSHIP PLATFORM
Systems and methods are provided to generate personalized benefit items for subscribers of a membership platform. Exemplary implementations may: effectuate presentation of a reward fulfillment user interface; obtain input information conveying input by the content creators into the reward fulfilment user interface; obtain subscribership information for the content creators; determine individual recommendations for modifying individual sets of one of more modifiable features of individual personalizable benefit items based on the subscribership information; effectuate presentation of the individual recommendations in the reward fulfillment user interface; and/or perform other operations.
Criteria-based cost-efficient routing and deployment of metadata packages in an on-demand environment
In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for facilitating criteria-based cost-efficient routing and deployment of metadata packages in an on-demand services environment according to one embodiment. In one embodiment and by way of example, a method comprises analyzing, by a metadata costing server computing device, characteristics of a metadata package awaiting deployment, where analyzing includes matching the characteristics with predefined criteria associated with deployment of metadata packages. The method may further include routing, by the metadata server, the metadata package for real-time deployment if the characteristics satisfy the criteria, where the real-time deployment allows for bypassing of message queues associated with standard deployment.
ENTERPRISE THEATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Novel methods and systems for providing an enterprise theater management system are disclosed. A remote or cloud-based enterprise theater management system uses a ruleset to uniformly control theater playlist presentation for multiple theaters in either a point of sale controlled or fully autonomous manner, including the sequencing of theater cues with the playlist clips.
Apparatus and method for allocating media content slots across disparate media supply channel systems
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving first data from each media publishing system of a plurality of media publishing systems which facilitate a presentation of media content with one or more procurable media content slots, where the first data from each media publishing system have incompatible data structures; mapping the first data from each media publishing system to second data which has a common data structure; receiving a target description from a media procurement system, the target description including information to procure media content slots provided by one or more of the plurality of media publishing systems; comparing the target description to the second data in the common data format; identifying from the comparing at least one procurable media content slot provided by one or more media publishing systems that correlates to the target description; receiving first viewership data associated with viewership of media content presentations that include the at least one procurable media content slot; generating according to the first viewership data an estimated viewership size associated with the viewership of media content presentations that include the at least one procurable media content slot; and providing, by the processing system, the estimated viewership size to the media procurement system. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Nonlinear manifold clustering to determine a recommendation of multimedia content
A method and an apparatus can include a system processor control and a system controller. The system controller can retrieve data from at least one database, the data including information associated with at least one of subscribers, multimedia content, and customer premises equipment. The system processor can formulate an input dataset from the retrieved data, perform nonlinear manifold clustering on the input dataset to formulate clusters, and determine a recommendation of multimedia content, the recommendation of multimedia content being based on a metric distance between a subscriber and a multimedia content. The system controller can transmit, to a customer premises equipment of the subscriber, the recommendation of multimedia content.
Video delivery expedition apparatuses, methods and systems
The VIDEO DELIVERY EXPEDITION APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“VDE”) transform Internet content data access request via VDE components into media content playback at a client device. In one implementation, the VDE may issue a notification or a user interface element to a user after delivery of a process one data from the server to a client; and trigger a background delivery of a process two data, wherein the triggering occurs when the user initiates playback of said process one data.
Video-on-demand content delivery system for providing video-on-demand services to TV service subscribers
A video-on-demand (VOD) content delivery system has a VOD Application Server which manages a database of templates for presentation of video content elements of different selected types categorized in hierarchical order. A web-based Content Management System receives content uploaded online in file formats with metadata for title and topical area, and automatically converts it into video data format compatible with the VOD content delivery system indexed by title and topical area. A User Interface for the system delivers listings data to the viewer's TV indexed by title and topical area specified by the uploaded metadata.
