Systems and methods are provided for managing an environment (e.g., a call center) including both voice users and streaming audio users (e.g., streaming music) using a common wireless protocol, e.g., Bluetooth. The system may include multiple base stations communicating with multiple user devices (e.g., wireless headsets) to define a plurality of wireless audio links. A central controller in communication with the base stations may receive wireless link data associated with the wireless audio links, determine a current count of voice users versus streaming audio users, generate channel assignment data specifying a first frequency channels designated for voice users and second frequency channels designated for streaming audio users, and communicate such channel assignment data to the base stations. Each base station may then selectively utilize particular frequency channel(s) based on the channel assignment data and the type of audio communication (e.g., voice or streaming audio) currently used by the respective user.

VEHICLE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD
20230209588 · 2023-06-29 ·

A wireless communication device uses multiple wireless communication services for communication between an in-vehicle device of a vehicle and an external device. The wireless communication device acquires a delay characteristic value for each wireless communication service from a network device. The delay characteristic value is an upper limit of an estimated range of delay time in communication. The wireless communication device acquires an allowable delay amount indicating a length of an allowable communication delay time from the in-vehicle device. The wireless communication device allocates a wireless communication service, which is relatively small in the delay characteristic value among the wireless communication services, to the in-vehicle device that is small in the allowable delay amount.

MULTI-FLOW ASSOCIATED TRANSMISSION METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM

A multi-flow associated transmission method includes obtaining, by a session management network element, first information. The first information includes a group identifier of a service flow group to which each of a plurality of service sub-flows and quality of service (QoS) policy information corresponding to each service sub-flow, or QoS policy information of the service flow group to which each service sub-flow belongs. The method also includes determining, by the session management network element based on the group identifier of the service flow group to which each service sub-flow belongs, that there is an association relationship between the plurality of service sub-flows. The method further includes guaranteeing, by the session management network element, associated transmission of the plurality of service sub-flows based on the QoS policy information corresponding to each service sub-flow or the QoS policy information of the service flow group to which each service sub-flow belongs.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING IN-BAND CROSS-CHIP TRIGGERS TO MAINTAIN HIGH-SPEED INTERCONNECT

A system includes a link having one or more data paths and a device coupled with the link and including a data link (DL) transmitter and a buffer. The device is to write one or more bits corresponding to a operation to a first portion of a data frame in response to an indication, the data frame comprising a second portion comprising data. The device is to transmit the first portion and the second portion of the data frame via the one or more data paths in response to writing the one or more bits corresponding to the operation. The device is to store the data frame at the buffer in response to writing the one or more bits corresponding to the operation.

METHOD AND USER EQUIPMENT FOR CONTROLLING PDCP AGGREGATION

A method for controlling, by a user equipment (UE), PDCP aggregation in a dual connectivity mode includes receiving a first Uplink (UL) data threshold value from a network; monitoring a throughput of a UL data of the UE and occurrence of at least one UL channel condition, wherein the at least one UL channel condition includes at least one of a network condition and a UE condition; determining whether to perform a calculation of a second UL data threshold value based on the occurrence of the at least one UL channel condition; calculating the second UL data threshold value based on a plurality of network parameters and a plurality of UE parameters, based on determining to perform the calculation of the second UL data threshold value; comparing an amount of the UL data with the second UL data threshold value; and controlling PCDP aggregation based on a result of the comparison.

Systems and methods for load control of a user device during network congestion

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a device may receive traffic data associated with a coverage area and determine that there is network congestion. If there is network congestion, the device may identify a high-consumption user device. The device may perform a corrective action in connection with a load of the high-consumption user device, such as limit a throughput of the high-consumption user device. The device may perform a corrective action based on a policy obtained from a policy and control function.
