MASSAGE DEVICE WITH TWO MODULES
The invention relates to a massage device comprising two modules mounted in relative translation to one another by a mechanism allowing their reversible arrangement in at least one first massage configuration and a second message configuration when the modules are brought together or moved apart from one another. Each of the modules has a rear cap with outer geometry arranged to, in the first massage configuration, form a first massage surface with the cap of the other module. Each of the modules has a front extension with outer geometry arranged to, in the second massage configuration, form a second massage surface with the extension of the other module. The extensions are arranged to be able to interlock with one another when the modules are brought together towards the first massage configuration.
EXERCISE ROLLERS
Among others, the present invention provides exercise rollers each including two trays, each tray having an elongated track configured for receiving a roller element. Each roller element is movable along the corresponding track between its two ends, configured to enable a user to perform knee and leg exercise, and receive foot exercise, by moving the roller elements back and forth along the respective tracks.
CHAIR, PRESSING DEVICE
The invention relates to a chair for accommodating a person. The chair includes an upper body section having an upper body contact surface adapted or adaptable to at least parts of a front of a torso or a rear of a torso of a person placed on the chair, and a lower body section having a lower body contact surface adapted or adaptable to at least parts of at least a front of a thigh of the person, wherein the upper body section and the lower body section are arranged or arrangeable and fixable in a position relative to each other such that the upper body contact surface and the lower body contact surface cause a hyperextension posture of the hip joint of the person with a predetermined hyperextension angle. By forming the hyperextension angle of the hip on the chair, shortening of the anterior thigh and hip muscles can be counteracted. Also disclosed are a pressing device for application to the human body, which is adapted for use on a chair and which includes one or more pressure units each having at least one pressure head adapted to apply local or point pressure at a predetermined pressure location on the body of a person accommodated on the chair, and a chair having such a pressing device.
Cranial positioning device with a lymphatic drainage augmentation that causes relief of various feelings associated with a typical hangover
This device is a mechanical positioning device which positions the head in a way that allows for the relaxation and associated limiting of neural inputs to the left medial sternocleidomastoid muscle. The left-sided medial sternocleidomastoid (to be further referred to as medial SCM) is most commonly positioned in close proximity to the thoracic duct in such a way that muscle spasms of the medial SCM are suspected to play a role in limiting function of the thoracic duct and subsequently some feelings associated the typical symptoms of a “hangover” following the consumption of ethanol. The thoracic duct can be described as the main lymphatic drainage point of the human head. This device is capable of relieving muscle spasm in the medial SCM muscle which augment the function of the thoracic duct in such a way that has a positive effect on those experiencing hangover symptoms. This device is shaped much like a pillow and places the user's head in a unique position which relaxes the medial SCM muscle, augments lymphatic flow from the cranium, which subsequently has an effect of symptom relief during periods of lymphatic cranial congestion, for example when someone has a “hangover.”
Physical stretching apparatus
A physical stretching apparatus having: an anchor strap, wherein the anchor strap is configured to be operable for attaching the apparatus to any stationary object; an anchor joint, the anchor joint is configured to attach the anchor strap and a rope implement; an elastic looped strap configured to secure the apparatus to various points on a user; an attachment contrivance, wherein the attachment contrivance is configured to be operable for attaching the elastic looped strap to the rope implement; a rope lock that is configured to permit the rope implement to pass in one direction when pulled and restricts the rope implement from passing in an opposite or reverse direction; a release mechanism that disables this restriction; and a sliding restrainer, wherein the sliding restrainer is configured to be operable for adjusting a size of the looped strap.
COMBINED MOBILITY AND STABILITY APPARATUS
A therapeutic tool including a body member formed in a frusto-conical shape, the body member having a platform base at a first end and a rounded opposing second end; and a flexion portion disposed on the body member, wherein the flexion portion is configured to allow a pressure application member to deflect, flex, and/or move with respect to the platform base.
Apparatus for treating lower limb contractures
An apparatus for treating lower limb contractures is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a pair of multi-sectional soles, which are movably affixed to a connector via a pair of arms using fasteners. The pair of soles are configured to support the user's feet. Each sole comprises four flat-solid plates, which are pivotally connected via hinges/fasteners. The four flat-solid plates are configured to cover, support, and align the user's feet. The apparatus further comprises a pair of ankle supports, securely and adjustably affixed to each sole, configured to support the user's ankle and lower leg. The plurality of straps is configured to secure the sole to the user's feet and lower leg while lifting and lowering the feet using additional straps that are coupled to one or more loops of the four-flat solid plates of the soles, thereby treating the limb contractures by facilitating the opportunity for the repetitive movement of every single joint and muscle in the lower limb of a the user.
A TIME SAVING SIT ON CARDIO PULMONARY RESUSCITATION DEVICE AND METHOD
A time saving sit on cardio pulmonary resuscitation device and method wherein the said device for providing cpr is adopted with an arrangement to seat a person and enable the start of cpr within five minutes of a heart attack affecting a patient, comprising of a reciprocating resuscitation force applicator where a counter force to the reactive force arising on applying compression force for resuscitation, said counter force being provided by the weight of a person sitting on the seating means and a belt based drive conveyance means forming a loop from top of a enclosure box allowing cpr without latching. A very clearly understandable, unambiguous, two step method of sitting on the device placed around the patient body, no confusion, no decision steps, no mental thinking on what to do. The device takes care of most decisions automatically.
Device for isolated static stretching of the gastrocnemius (calf) muscle
A calf-stretching device enables a user to conduct stretching exercises of the gastrocnemius muscles of the leg. The calf-stretching device includes a support base positionable on a floor surface and left and right surfaces immovably attached to the support base. Each of the left and right surfaces present a convex curved surface from a front side to a back side to receive respective feet of the user, the convex curved surface having a greater radial dimension on an inner portion than an outer portion to correspond to a foot arch of the user.
