PERSONAL CARE COMPOSITION WITH VISUALLY DISTINCT AQUEOUS AND OIL PHASE
Disclosed is a multi-phase personal care composition comprising an aqueous phase comprising fatty acid amide and nonionic surfactant and an oil phase, wherein the weight ratio of the nonionic surfactant to the fatty acid amide is at least 5:1, the aqueous phase is visually distinct from and in physical contact with the oil phase, and the nonionic surfactant is different from the fatty acid amide.
Natural Skincare Compositions
The topical cosmetic compositions and methods of the subject invention can be used to improve the health and/or appearance of skin by, for example, treating and/or preventing a variety of skin conditions. The invention also provides compositions and methods for enhanced sunless tanning. Biological amphiphilic molecules are used as active components, formulation enhancers and/or delivery vessels for skin active components.
DISSOLVABLE SOLID FOAM COMPOSITIONS
Embodiments of the disclosure relate to dissolvable solid foam compositions having a soluble polymer and a surfactant. The compositions may be biodegradable and a closed cell solid foam. Also described are kits, methods of preparation and methods of use of such dissolvable solid foam compositions.
EMULSIFYING COMPOSITION FOR COSMETIC USE FOR PRODUCING AN O/W PICKERING EMULSION AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THIS EMULSION
The application relates to an emulsifying composition, in particular for cosmetic use, allowing an oil-in-water emulsion (O/W) to be obtained, the emulsion comprising at least one cyclodextrin and at least one O/W emulsifier of natural origin with a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance value (HLB) of more than 8. The O/W emulsifier of natural origin can be selected from alkyl polyglucosides, mixtures of at least one alkyl polyglucoside and at least one fatty alcohol, and non-ethoxylated polyol fatty esters. The application also relates to a composition of the Pickering emulsion type, in particular for cosmetic use, containing the emulsifying composition according to the invention, and to the process for preparing such a composition of the O/W Pickering emulsion type, in particular at low temperatures.
PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING OR TREATING WOUND, COMPRISING INDIRUBIN DERIVATIVE AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT
The present disclosure relates to a composition for preventing or treating wound. The composition according to the present disclosure contains, as an active ingredient, an indirubin derivative alone or one or more selected from a group consisting of an indirubin derivative, an Euodia sutchuenensis Dode extract, methyl vanillate, hesperidin and quercitrin, and thus can be used as a pharmaceutical composition capable of promoting wound healing and reducing scarring not only in a normal state but also in a diabetic state. Furthermore, since the composition exhibits excellent effects in healing diabetic wound as well as general wound, it can be usefully used as a pharmaceutical composition, cosmetic composition or food composition for alleviating, preventing or treating general wound or diabetic wound, or as a veterinary composition for treating diabetic wound.
ORAL MOUSSE COMPOSITION
Disclosed herein is a foam or a liquid oral care composition comprising an alkyl polyglycoside surfactant and a propellant, a method of using said oral care composition, method of its preparation, and a system comprising a pressurizable container enclosing the oral care composition.
COMPOSITION FOR DISPERSING A LIPOSOLUBLE COMPOUND IN AN AQUEOUS PHASE
The application relates to a dispersant composition, including: at least one alkyl polyglucoside; and a diester of formula (B)
##STR00001##
R and R′, being the same or different, represent an alkyl group, linear or branched, including from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and Z is a linear or branched group of formula —(C.sub.nH.sub.2n)—, n being an integer from 1 to 10. The dispersant composition is such that the mass ratio of the proportion by weight of alkyl polyglycoside relative to the proportion by weight of diester of formula (B) is from 7.4 to 18.0.
COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING HIGH AMOUNTS OF RETINOL
The present disclosure relates to stable cosmetic compositions containing high amounts of retinol. The cosmetic compositions further include, among other things, a plurality of nonionic emulsifiers, fatty alcohols, fatty compounds, thickening polymers, and water. Methods for solubilizing high amounts of retinol and methods of treating the skin with the cosmetic compositions is also described. Methods for stabilizing the cosmetic compositions containing high amounts of retinol and methods for preserving the high amounts of retinol are also described. The present disclosure also describes methods for treating the with the cosmetic compositions.
Personal Care Compositions
Hair care compositions and methods for using the same are disclosed herein. According to one aspect of the disclosure, a hair care composition is provided that includes from about 1 to about 20 wt. % of an anionic surfactant; from about 0.5 to about 5 wt. % of an amphoteric surfactant; from about 0.1 to about 7 wt. % of a nonionic surfactant; from about 0.1 to about 5 wt. % of a thickening agent, wherein the thickening agent is a natural gum; and from about 0.05 to about 4.5 wt. % of a silicone wherein the hair composition is an emulsion and all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the hair care composition. Additionally, the hair care composition may have a weight ratio for the total amount of anionic surfactant to the total amount of amphoteric surfactant that is about 5:1 to about 20:1.
Composition for caring for skin, method and use thereof
A composition comprising at least two visually distinguishable phases, comprises at least one fatty phase with oil, at least one aqueous phase with hydrophilic gelling agent, and at least one compound chosen from N,N-dimethylglycine derivatives, alkyl(poly)glucosides, or a mixture thereof.
