b) one or more fatty acid esters, said ester comprising at least 24 carbon atoms, and being selected among A) those corresponding to the formula (I) below:
R—COO—R′ (I) in which: R and R′, which may be identical or different, denote a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched, hydrogenated or non-hydrogenated hydrocarbon-based group comprising from 12 to 30 carbon atoms and preferably from 14 to 24 carbon atoms, and B) di- or triesters of glycerol and of C.sub.12-C.sub.30 fatty acids; and
c) at least one or more thickeners which are not xanthan gum.
Another subject of the invention is a process for mattifying the skin and/or reducing the shininess thereof.
Another subject of the invention is the use of said fatty acid ester as agent for mattifying keratin materials such as the skin.
CLEANING COMPOSITION FOR ORAL APPLIANCE
A cleaning composition for an oral appliance, including the following components (A) and (B): (A) an unsaturated fatty acid having 10 or more and 20 or less carbon atoms or a salt thereof in an amount of 0.5 mass % or more and 14 mass % or less in terms of the fatty acid, and (B) one or more surfactants selected from the group consisting of an anionic surfactant (b1), a nonionic surfactant (b2), and an amphoteric surfactant (b3), and the composition has a pH at 25° C. of 5.5 or higher and 14 or lower.
COMPOSITION FOR INHIBITING HAIR GRAYING, AND USE THEREOF
Provided is a composition for inhibiting hair graying, having an excellent effect of preventing the occurrence of gray hair, and a use thereof. A composition for inhibiting hair graying, of the presently claimed subject matter, activates the Wnt and β-catenin signaling pathway to promote melanin synthesis in hair, thereby having remarkably excellent hair graying (canities) inhibition, prevention, improvement, alleviation, delaying, or treatment effects.
Cationic antiseptic compositions
An antiseptic composition comprising a multivalent cationic antiseptic present in an amount of 0.05 to 0.5 percent based upon the ready to use composition; an anionic compound which is water soluble in an amount of at least 0.1 grams in 100 grams water at 23 deg C., wherein the anionic compound is present at a concentration which would result in precipitation of the multivalent cationic antiseptic in the composition without a solubilizing surfactant present; wherein the composition, with the antiseptic, surfactant and anionic compound combined with each other, is free of precipitate.
SURFACTANT COMPOSITION
A surfactant composition comprising a sugar-based surfactant comprising a C8-C16 alkyl glucoside, a C8-C16 alkyl polyglucoside, or a combination of a C8-C16 alkyl glucoside and a C8-C16 alkyl polyglucoside; a C8-C18 amphodiacetate; a C8-C16 acyl sarcosinate, a C8-C16 acyl glutamate, a C8-C16 acyl glycinate, or a combination thereof; and optionally a C8-C14 acyl lactylate, wherein the composition is free of sulfated anionic surfactants.
STABLE COLOR-PROTECTING HAIR TREATMENT AGENT COMPRISING LANTHANIDE SALT
A hair treatment agent for reducing and/or preventing the bleeding out and/or fading of artificially produced hair colors is provided herein. The hair treatment agent has a pH value in the range of from about 4 to about 5. The hair treatment agent includes, relative to the total amount of the hair treatment agent, from about 0.01 to about 10% by weight of a lanthanum and/or lanthanide salt, at least one anionic surfactant selected from the group of alkyl (ether) sulfates, sulfosuccinates, ether carboxylic acids, N-acylamino acids having 8 to 24 C atoms in the acyl group, (acyl) isethionates having 8 to 24 C atoms in the acyl group, and mixtures of these surfactants, and from about 0.01 to about 10% by weight of an organic acid selected from the group of maleic acid, lactic acid, acetic acid, propanoic acid, amino acids, and mixtures thereof.
