Topical compositions and methods are provided that are effective for promoting an optimal composition of dermal white adipose tissue in vivo comprising an adipogenic agent, a retarder of lipogenesis or lipolytic agent and at least one penetrant.

Cosmetic formulation with deodorant activity for topical application including vitamin E or an ester thereof, starch, sodium bicarbonate, zinc oxide and a cosmetically acceptable carrier is disclosed. The vitamin E ester is preferably alpha-tocopherol acetate, n-propionate or linoleate and the vitamin E or ester thereof and is present in an amount of 5-40% by weight of the weight of the formulation.

Provided is an oil-in-water-type skin external agent containing: (a) at least one tocopherol phosphate ester compound selected from the group consisting of tocopherol phosphate ester and a salt thereof; (b) gellan gum; (c) a dihydric or trihydric alcohol; (d) at least one oil component selected from the group consisting of esters of fatty acids having 6 to 12 carbon atoms and polyhydric alcohols, and vegetable oils; and (e) water.

An alcohol-free lotion for the topical application having sanitizing properties is made by combining an aqueous phase comprising water, a water soluble preservative, an antimicrobial active, and at least one humectant with an oil phase, wherein the at least one humectant is present in the aqueous phase in the range of from 5 to 30 wt. %, wherein the oil phase comprises an oil soluble preservative, at least one surfactant, and at least one oil, wherein the surfactant is present in the oil phase in the range of from about 20 to 60 wt. %, and wherein the aqueous phase to oil phase ratio is from about 12:1 to 1:2.

A skin crème with CBD variants. The skin crème is a formulation to relieve joint and muscle pain, pain from arthritis. The skin crème also works to repair skin and reduce wrinkles, as the CBD nourishes the skin and has been shown to be more effective in skin repair and wrinkles reduction. There are three embodiments that include different forms of CBD. The first embodiment is a skin crème with CBD oil. The second embodiment is a skin crème with water soluble CBD. An anti-aging formula is provided. The anti-aging formula comprises a first microbial blend, a second microbial blend, chondroitin sulfate, vitamin D.sub.3, vitamin E, astragalus, and resveratrol. A preservative composition is described that may be used in personal care products and other products for protecting the products against bacteria and fungus during production and during use. The composition can about 3 to about 15% by weight of an organic acid; about 3 to about 15% by weight of a C.sub.8-C.sub.18 fatty alcohol; about 30 to about 60% by weight of an aromatic alcohol; and about 30 to about 60% by weight of an organic solvent.
