ELECTRIC DOOR RELEASE POWERED BY AN ENERGY HARVESTER
A piezoelectric energy harvester system for collecting kinetic energy is provided, wherein the kinetic energy is converted into electrical energy, and wherein at least a portion of the converted electrical energy is utilized to operate a load. The system comprises an energy input portion and an energy harvesting portion. The energy input portion includes an input member configured to be actionable by an outside force. The energy harvesting portion includes a capture member, a sprocket portion, and a piezoelectric energy harvester. The capture member is adapted for receiving mechanical input from the input member. The sprocket portion is disposed for movement with the capture member. The sprocket portion includes at least one radially disposed sprocket actuator configured for making contact with and exciting the piezoelectric energy harvester. The piezoelectric energy harvester is excited by the contact to produce the kinetic energy.
VEHICULAR DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING THE SAME
A vehicular door handle assembly for opening a vehicle door is provided and includes a chassis assembly having a forward end and a rearward end. The forward end includes an arm rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the chassis and the rearward end includes a rotatable bellcrank. The vehicular door handle assembly further includes a handle grip movable to an actuated position to open a vehicle door and the handle grip includes a forward end and a rearward end. The forward end includes a connection member to rigidly connect with the rotatable arm and the rearward end includes a plunger rotatably connected to the rear end door handle and is rotatably connected to the bellcrank.
Door outer handle
A door outer handle which can be easily attached to an outer panel from the outside and in which the size of a counter weight is sufficiently ensured is provided. A door outer handle has an elongated shape. A hinge portion provided at one end of the door outer handle is inserted into a first attachment hole, and a counter weight provided at the other end of the door outer handle is inserted into a second attachment hole. An outer circumferential surface of the counter weight, which is located farthest from a contact point, is formed in an arc shape with a first radius, centered at the contact point. Furthermore, an inner circumferential surface of the counter weight, which is located closer to the contact point than the outer circumferential surface, is also formed in an arc shape with a second radius, centered at the contact point.
Actuation device
The invention relates to an actuation device for a flap mounted moveably on a component between a closed position and an opened position, in particular for a flap mounted moveably on a housing of an automobile, comprising: a first actuation part and a second actuation part, wherein the first actuation part is to be fastened on the flap and is moved together with the flap when the flap is moved between the closed position and the opened position, and wherein the second actuation part is to be fastened on the component, locking means with a locking reception provided on the first or second actuation part and a locking element provided on the other of first or second actuation part, wherein the locking element engages in the locking reception upon a movement of the first actuation part with the flap from its opened position into its closed position, whereby the locking element holds the first actuation part against a spring pretension in a locking position on the second actuation part, and a remote unlocking device, wherein the remote unlocking device comprises drive means, which can be actuated from a place distant from the actuation parts such that the locking element is retracted from the locking reception, whereby the first actuation part, driven by the spring pretension, disengages from the second actuation part and moves together with the flap at least partially into its opened position.
Retention mechanism for insertion member in vehicular door handle assembly
A door handle assembly includes a bracket mountable to the door and an insertion member received in and retained in the bracket via a retaining mechanism. The retaining mechanism includes a biasing member and a movable locking member that retains the insertion member in the bracket. The movable locking member is biased into a securing position by the biasing member when the insertion member is fully received in the bracket to retain the insertion member in the bracket. The movable locking member is selectively displaceable from the securing position against a force of the biasing member either to permit insertion of the insertion member in the bracket during assembly or to accommodate disassembly by permitting the insertion member to be removed from the bracket.
Door outside handle
A door outside handle is provided. The door outside handle includes a first base to which a handle lever connected with a handle grip is coupled; a second base which is coupled with a hinge portion of the handle grip and formed to be separated from the first base, and performs pivotal movement toward the inside of a door with respect to the first base when a crash occurs; and a connection member connecting the first base and the second base together and facilitating the pivotal movement of the second base.
LID CONSTRUCTION FOR BREATHING APPARATUS
A breathing assistance apparatus has a lid and latch assembly configured for one-handed operation. The apparatus also includes a hinge assembly that separates when over-rotated but that reengages upon closing of the lid onto the main body of the apparatus.
VEHICLE DOOR HANDLE
A vehicle door includes a door structure having an interior space and a ramp disposed within the interior space. The vehicle door further includes a latch and a handle that is pivotably connected to the door structure. The handle includes a pair of inwardly and forwardly extending hooks. The vehicle door also includes a cable or other linkage connected to the latch. The cable has a fitting that is pushed along the ramp by the hooks upon pivoting of the handle to thereby shift the cable and unlatch the latch.
Door handle with removable cap
The invention relates to a door handle (10) for a vehicle door of a motor vehicle, with a removable cover element (11), in particular for covering a lock cylinder (101), wherein the lock cylinder (101) is provided for unlocking and locking a door lock, and wherein the cover element (11) can be transferred between at least two positions (I, II), specifically a covered position (I), in which in particular the lock cylinder (101) is covered by the cover element (11) so as to be inaccessible from the outside, and an open position (II), in which in particular the cylinder lock (101) is uncovered by the cover element (11), and a tension means (12) for actuating the door lock, wherein the tension means (12) can be mechanically operatively connected with the cover element (11) in the open position (II) of the cover element (11), so as to actuate the door lock by pulling on the cover element (11). It is also possible to initially detach the tension means from the cover element, for example by undoing a corresponding connection between the tension means and cover element, such as a form- and/or force fitting connection, clip and/or clamp connection, bayonet connection or the like, and then initiate the opening process directly on the tension means. To this end, the invention proposes that a triggering device (14) be provided for the cover element (11), so as to automatically transfer the cover element (11) into the open position (II), in particular in an emergency situation.
