The invention relates to a method for the fractioned separation of valuable substances from aqueous many-component mixtures such as aqueous wastes, sludges and sewage sludge under supercritical conditions. The invention also comprises valuable substance fractions that are enriched after the method according to the invention, more particularly phosphorous-containing and phosphorous- and ammonium-containing compounds such as fertilisers and synthesis gas as an energy source and as a valuable substance for the chemicals industry. The invention comprises devices for carrying out the methods. With the method and devices according to the invention, valuable substances can be completely recovered from wastes, sludges and sewage sludge and given a new use. The methods and devices are particularly suitable for recovering phosphorous and ammonium in the form of plant-available fertiliser, for recovering metals and heavy metals, for producing synthesis gas and for obtaining hydrogen from synthesis gas, i.e. for mobility.
Method for promoting germination of underground buds and growth of new-born root systems of ratoon sugarcane
A method for promoting germination of underground buds and growth of new-born root systems of ratoon sugarcane is to cut stubbles based on a depth survey of the stubbles of the ratoon sugarcane, particularly including steps of: for a ratoon sugarcane field after mechanical harvesting, cutting the stubbles with a sugarcane stubble cutting machine, and remaining underground stubbles of 5-7 cm after cutting; for a ratoon sugarcane field with manual harvesting, cutting the sugarcane with a hoe, and remaining underground stubbles of 10-12 cm after cutting, so as to realize sugarcane cutting and stubble cutting in one step; thereafter, applying fertilizers and pesticides, and hilling up, wherein the underground buds of the stubbles are controlled to be distributed 10-15 cm below ground after hilling up; and finally conducting whole film mulching. The present invention is advanced and practical, and easily used and promoted.
Process and apparatus for adjusting the filling level in a floating bed reactor
A process for adjusting filling level in a gasifier for carbonaceous material in the form of a floating bed reactor in which biomass and/or coke (K) is transformed into a product gas includes providing a substantially conical, downwardly tapering floating bed reactor comprising an upper reactor ceiling a lower inlet opening into which biomass and/or coke (K) are introduced into the floating bed reactor from below and a gaseous gasification agent (V) is introduced upwardly, so that a fixed bed, which is elevated from the location of the inlet opening and held in suspension, forms within the conical reactor, wherein the flow rate of the gaseous gasification agent (V) together with the biomass and/or the coke (K) is adapted in such a way that a stable bed forms in the reactor.
System for resource recovery from poultry processing wastewater
A system for recovering fat, oil and grease (FOG) from wastewater has multiple annular flotation zones in a concentric configuration surrounding a central column to create progressively increasing surface areas for FOG and solid particles flotation. Each flotation zone may be equipped with an independent pressurized micro air and/or ozone bubbles distribution system. The FOG is recovered in the first flotation zone without chemical additions. Coagulant and flocculant may be added in the second flotation zone to maximize removals of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), total suspended solids (TSS), and colloidal particulates and produce clear effluent. Magnesium chloride is added in the third flotation zone to remove phosphorus and to form struvite particulates that can be used as fertilizer. Since both organic loading and solid loading in the treated effluent are significantly reduced, poultry processing plants can more easily meet wastewater treatment plant discharge limits and avoid surcharges.
Method of online control of a slag forming gasification process and plant for a gasification process
A method of online control of a slag-forming process of gasification of a carbonaceous solid fuel, especially coal, in a gasification reactor with supply of a gasifying agent and a moderator is provided. Certain embodiments relate to a gasification process for producing a product gas including carbon monoxide and hydrogen from a solid fuel, to a computer program for online control of the slag-forming gasification process, and to a plant for conducting a gasification process for producing a product gas including carbon monoxide and hydrogen from a solid fuel. Certain aspects of the invention combine an online solid fuel analysis with a process model in order to operate a gasification process for solid fuels by the feed-forward principle at the thermodynamically optimal operating point. The invention permits the establishment of the operating point in real time in order to react to rapid variations in the composition of the solid fuel. Certain embodiments also permit the complete automation of the gasification process.
Multi-Stage Process for Producing a Material of a Battery Cell
A system and method thereof are provided for multi-stage processing of one or more precursor compounds into a battery material. The system includes a mist generator, a drying chamber, one or more gas-solid separators, and one or more in-line reaction modules comprised of one or more gas-solid feeders, one or more gas-solid separators, and one or more reactors. Various gas-solid mixtures are formed within the internal plenums of the drying chamber, the gas-solid feeders, and the reactors. In addition, heated air or gas is served as the energy source within the processing system and as the gas source for forming the gas-solid mixtures to facilitate reaction rate and uniformity of the reactions therein. Precursor compounds are continuously delivered into the processing system and processed in-line through the internal plenums of the drying chamber and the reaction modules into final reaction particles useful as a battery material.
System and method for improved anaerobic digestion
A method for improved anaerobic digestion is presented. The method includes mixing a volume of waste material with water to form a feedstock mixture. The volume of waste material includes an initial amount of biomass and the feedstock mixture includes methanogenic bacteria either naturally present in the waste material or introduced artificially. The method also includes introducing one or more promoter substances to the feedstock mixture. The one or more promoter substances are capable of modifying the methanogenic bacteria. Modifying includes stimulating novel enzyme production in the methanogenic bacteria.
Char preparation system and gasifier for all-steam gasification with carbon capture
An ASG system for polygeneration with CC includes a devolatilizer that pyrolyzes solid fuel to produce char and gases. A burner adds exothermic heat by high-pressure sub-stoichiometric combustion, a mixing pot causes turbulent flow of the gases to heat received solid fuel, and a riser micronizes resulting friable char. A devolatilizer cyclone separates the micronized char by weight providing micronized char, steam and gases to a gasifier feed and oversized char to the mixing pot. An indirect fluid bed gasifier combustion loop includes a gasifier coupled to the gasifier feed, a steam input to provide oxygen for gasification and to facilitate sand-char separation, and an output for providing syngas. A burner provides POC to a mixing pot which provides hot sand with POC to a POC cyclone via a riser, where the POC cyclone separates sand and POC by weight and provides POC and sand for steam-carbon reaction.
