Electrical wire sealing assembly and method

A seal assembly includes a circular resilient grommet-type seal having one or more through axial openings equal in number to the wires which pass through the seal and a rigid wire channel or guide which is received within a complementary pocket aligned with the seal between the seal and a reaction surface. The rigid wire channel or guide is retained in the pocket and carries any force exerted on the seal by pressure within the device to the aligned reaction surface. A method of installation includes the steps of mounting an electrical device within a component, routing the electrical wires leading from the device through an opening, routing the wires through corresponding openings in a grommet-type seal, pressing the seal into the opening, routing the wires through passageways in the rigid wire channel or guide and installing the guide in a complementary pocket which is aligned with the seal at one end and includes a reaction surface at the other end.

Board working system
11432449 · 2022-08-30 · ·

A system including multiple inspection machines and an NG board discharge machine which moves an NG board to a checking position visible to a worker. The system acquires positional information of a circuit board during conveyance, and stores the NG board by associating a work result for the NG board with the positional information. In this manner, the positional information of the NG board is acquired. Based on the positional information, it is determined whether or not the circuit board conveyed to the NG board discharge machine is the NG board. When the circuit board conveyed to the NG board discharge machine is the NG board, a checking-purpose working machine discharges the NG board to the checking position.

System for manufacturing a swallowable sensor device

Methods and systems for manufacturing a swallowable sensor device are disclosed. Such a method includes mechanically coupling a plurality of internal components, wherein the plurality of internal components includes a printed circuit board having a plurality of projections extending radially outward. A cavity is filled with a potting material, and the mechanically coupled components are inserted into the cavity. The cavity may be pre-filled with the potting material, or may be filled after the mechanically coupled components have been inserted therein. A distal end of each projection abuts against a wall of the cavity thereby preventing the potting material from covering each distal end. The cavity is sealed with a cap causing the potting material to harden within the sealed cavity to form a housing of the swallowable sensor device, wherein the distal end of each projection is exposed to an external environment of the swallowable sensor device.

Method and apparatus for tuning a resonant circuit using a laser

An electronic communications device includes a body of semiconductor material with an integrated electronic circuit, an inductive element, and a capacitive element. The capacitive element is formed by a first electrode and a second electrode positioned between the inductive element and the integrated electronic circuit. Tuning of the device circuitry is accomplished by energizing the inductive/capacitive elements, determining resonance frequency, and using a laser trimming operation to alter the structure of one or more of the first electrode, second electrode or inductive element and change the resonance frequency.

Mobile electronic device

A mobile electronic device comprising at least one part made of a polymer composition [composition (C), herein after] comprising at least one part made of a polymer composition [composition (C), herein after] comprising from at least one polyaryletherketone polymer [(PAEK) polymer], and at least one nitride (NI) of an element having an electronegativity (∈) of from 1.3 to 2.5, as defined in <<Handbook of Chemistry and Physics>>, CRC Press, 64.sup.th edition, pages B-65 to B-158, based on the total weight of the composition (C).

Provisioning of lightweight configurable servers with chassis base and cover designed for nested stacking
09730355 · 2017-08-08 · ·

An information handling system (IHS) has a lightweight server (LWS) chassis that is user selectable from multiple LWS chassis. Each LWS chassis includes a chassis base having structural configuration that enables placement of the LWS chassis in a nested, stacked configuration with a second LWS chassis placed atop the LWS chassis and a third LWS chassis placed below the LWS chassis. Multiple LWS chassis can be stacked in a vertical space whose height is less than a sum of individual heights of each of the multiple LWS chassis. The IHS further includes compute components inserted into the LWS chassis and one or more connecting cabling interconnecting the at least two compute components.

FIXED-STATE TESTING DEVICE, FIXED-STATE TESTING METHOD, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF BATTERY PACK

Provided is a fixed-state testing device including a pressing part that presses a battery, a load detection part that detects a pressing load with which the battery is pressed, and a determination part that determines whether the state of fixing of the battery to a retention hole is good or bad. The determination part determines the fixed state of the battery to be good when the battery is able to maintain the pressing load within a first test load range for a first pressing time and, moreover, to thereafter maintain the pressing load within a second test load range of which an upper limit load is smaller than a lower limit load of the first test load range for a second pressing time.

Braid with integrated signal conductors

A method, including incorporating a conducting wire into a tubular braid consisting of a multiplicity of supporting wires, and covering the tubular braid with a sheath. The method further includes identifying a location of the conducting wire within the tubular braid and attaching an electrode through the sheath to the conducting wire at the location.

Cuttable flexible light engines

Flexible light engines capable of being cut, and methods thereof, are provided. A cuttable flexible light engine includes a flexible strip and strings of solid state light sources coupled in parallel. A voltage balancer establishes a desired current flow through the strings of solid state light sources when the flexible strip is cut to a desired length, and may be part of a connector placed where the strip is cut. The strings may be provided in a first set of strings coupled in parallel between a first conductive path and an intermediate conductive path and a second set of strings coupled in parallel between the intermediated conductive path and a second conductive path. A cuttable flexible light engine may also include test points positioned within the strings.
