Propeller
A propeller having a means for creating fluid flow in a non-axial direction and redirecting it in an axial direction.
Increased capacity spherical lined bearings
A rotary system and method to control feathering movement of a rotor blade. The system having a yoke arm configured to rotate a rotor blade. A first bearing and a second bearing are utilized to secure the rotor blade to the yoke arm and are configured to restrict longitudinal and transverse movement, while allowing feathering movement of the rotor blade relative to yoke arm.
Method and system for cutting a preform intended for the production of a turbomachine part
A method for cutting a preform usable for production of a turbomachine part and including a weaving of a plurality of threads, the threads including single threads that are visually identifiable, along a cutting contour calculated based on a preform model in which the threads have a reference arrangement, the method including: taking an image of the preform; processing the image to determine a deviation in an arrangement of the threads which are visually identifiable relative to the reference layout; correcting the cutting contour according to the deviation; and cutting the preform along the corrected cutting contour.
Method and device for mounting a rotor of a wind energy plant
The invention relates to a lifting beam for lifting and handling a rotor blade of a wind energy plant, comprising a fastening means for fastening the lifting beam to a crane, at least one fastening means for fastening the lifting beam to the rotor blade a longitudinal pivoting means for pivoting the rotor blade which is supported by the lifting beam about a longitudinal axis of the rotor blade, and/or a transverse pivoting means for pivoting the rotor blade which is supported by the lifting beam about a transverse axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The invention further relates to a method for mounting rotor blades of a wind energy plant using a lifting beam according to the invention.
PROPELLER
A propeller having a central post to which one or more blades are connected. The blades are disposed and configured to pull air in from the propeller's sides toward the propeller's axis of rotation to create pressure in an area in the vicinity of the center of the propeller's rotating axis for generating thrust.
