Press component and method and device for manufacturing same
The top plate section of the metal stock is pressed and clamped against a punch by a pad, a portion that will be at the outside of the L shaped curve is pressed and camped against a die by a blank holder, a bender is moved, and a vertical wall portion at the inside of the L shaped curved of the metal stock sheet and the flange portion joined to the vertical wall at the inside of the L shaped curve are molded. The metal stock sheet is moved in the direction toward the blank holder while the metal stock sheet being pressed and clamped, and a vertical wall portion at the outside of the L shaped curve of the L shaped hat shaped cross-section and the flange portion joined to the vertical wall at the outside of the L shaped curve are molded.
Frame structure for a vehicle door in particular a tailgate of a vehicle
A frame structure for a vehicle door and a method of manufacture thereof is disclosed. In particular, a tailgate includes at least two tubular parts which are flexurally deformed in the direction of their longitudinal extension and connected to each other to form a ring structure. The ring structure is incorporated into a structural unit with the frame structure in a tailgate of a motor vehicle.
Sliding connection between the floor structure and the hull structure of an aircraft
An aircraft structure part comprising a floor structure, a hull structure, and a connecting element. The connecting element comprises a rod attached, at its first end, to one of the hull and the floor; an attachment element, attached to the other of the hull and the floor, and provided with an opening in which the second end of the rod is slidably mounted; and an endstop attached to the rod so as to engage with the attachment element, to limit the sliding amplitude of the rod in the opening. When the connection between the floor and the hull is loaded in tension, the endstop makes it possible to comply with the standards for withstanding acceleration towards the aircraft front. When the connection is loaded in compression, the rod slides freely in the opening, which limits the constraints of withstanding compressive stresses, reducing the weight of the connecting element.
Resilient floor
A method of assembling resilient floorboards is disclosed that includes the step of bending an edge of a floorboard during the assembling. The bending reduces the force required for connection of the edge to another edge of a juxtaposed floorboard. The floorboards may be provided with a mechanical locking system for vertical and horizontal locking of two adjacent floorboards.
Methods and arrangements relating to edge machining of building panels
A tool configuration 91 for producing an improved locking system of a floor panel 1′ and a method incorporating such tool configuration. The tool configuration 91x, 91y, is a non-rotating tool configuration profiling certain surfaces of the joint edge of the floor panel, resulting in that the tolerances can be kept on a low level.
Roof vent with an integrated fan
A roof vent member with an integrated fan assembly is disclosed. The fan assembly may be installed, removed, replaced, maintained, etc. from underneath the roof without having to get on the roof or otherwise disrupt the roof envelope. The roof vent may include a subflashing, the fan assembly, sealing elements, screens, and other features. A secondary roof vent member may be included which may include solar panels. Associated methods of using the vent members, such as installing, removing, and replacing the vent member or various components thereof, are further disclosed.
Floor Covering, Floor Element and Method for Manufacturing Floor Elements
Floor covering, made of floor elements, which, at least at two opposite sides, comprise a male and a female coupling part, which allow that two of such floor elements can be interconnected at the respective sides at the respective sides by pushing one of these floor elements with the associated male coupling part, by means of a downward movement, home into the female coupling part of the other floor element, wherein at least one of said coupling parts, either the male coupling part or the female coupling part, is made as least partially in a filled synthetic material composite, such as extruded wood.
Automated spacer frame fabrication
Method and Apparatus for fabricating a spacer frame for use in an insulating glass unit. One of a multiple number of possible spacer frame materials is chosen for the spacer frame. An elongated strip of the material is moved to a notching station where notches are formed at corner locations. The character of the notches is adjusted based on the selection of the metal strip material and more particularly to achieve bending of the material in an repeatable, straightforward manner. Better control over the notching process is also achieved by exhaust flow control of a double acting cylinder. A positioning spacer achieve very accurate side to side positioning of a die and anvil to precisely notch and deform the metal strip. Downstream from the notching station the metal strip is bent into a channel shaped elongated frame member having side walls. Further downstream a leading strip of channel shaped material is severed or separated from succeeding material still passing through the notching and bending station.
Nut and a method of use of the nut in a fastener system for crane mats
A nut to be used as part of a fastener to be used in multiple ways in various industries or methods has a drive mechanism and stud extending from the drive mechanism with a threaded bore. In addition the nut can be specifically used as a method and as part of special fastener that can be used to join cut, hard-wood members, other naturally occurring manufactured mat members or synthetically man made members, referred to as “timber(s)” or “laminated”, in forming a mat used for heavy construction equipment to run on over ground which is not stable. These mats are commonly referred to as “Crane Mats” or “Laminated Mats” in the construction, mining, pipeline, and oil and gas industries among others.
