Joining method for joining a plate set
A joining method is a method of joining a plate set composed by a plurality of stacked plate members including a first plate member and a second plate member by using a tapping screw. When the tapping screw is advanced into the plate set while the tapping screw is rotated in a state of applying a pressure onto the plate set so as to form through-holes in the first plate member and the second plate member, a first pressure applied onto the tapping screw is reduced down to a second pressure at the time when the tapping screw penetrates the first plate member.
Nailing machine for assembling wood pallets or the like
A nailing machine for assembling wood pallets includes a nailing station and an advancement and guiding component which form a substantially horizontal resting surface at the nailing station configured for the assembly of at least two superimposed wood pieces to be assembled by nailing to provide a pallet. The nailing station includes at least one nailing head, each of which is associated with at least one nailing stem, which can move along a substantially vertical direction with respect to the resting surface between an inactive position, in which the lower end of the nailing stem is spaced from the upper surface of the superimposed wood pieces, and an active position, in which the lower end of the nailing stem is moved closer to, or made to penetrate, the upper surface of the superimposed wood pieces.
Hole punch and also a method for the piercing of a workpiece which is present as a foam material and/or as a sandwich material and also a method for the manufacture of the hole punch
A hole punch and a method for piercing a workpiece wherein a hole punch includes a sheet metal part and a piercing body attached thereto which carries out the piercing function and which is provided with a thread cylinder or can be provided with a thread cylinder, for example by pressing a threaded pin into a centrally arranged passage of the hole punch, wherein the hole punch can also be formed in one piece as a piercing body with a sheet metal-like flange. Furthermore a method is claimed for the manufacture of the hole punch.
Device and method for fastener element retention and installation
A method and a device seek to improve productivity of the installation of fasteners. Improved productivity is targeted by holding a fastener to a driving tool with mechanical components for a substantial portion of an installation sequence to prevent nuisance disengagement between fasteners and their driving tool including dropping of fasteners early in an installation cycle. The productivity of this fastener holding approach is best realized by allowing a streamlined operation with little interaction between the device and an operator. Specifically, a fastener installation device is described which requires no direct manipulation of the device during the sequence of loading a fastener, installation of the fastener, disengagement of the device from the fastener to allow complete installation of the fastener, and loading a subsequent fastener.
ATTACHMENT MEANS FOR CONNECTING PLANE MATERIAL COMBINATIONS IN DRY CONSTRUCTION
The present invention relates to attachment mean (1) for connecting plane components in dry construction, in particular for fixing two-dimensional construction material to a metallic substructure, having a shaft (2) on one end region of which a point (3) and on the other end region of which a head (4) are formed, a fine thread (5) being formed on the shaft (2) in order to increase extraction values of the attachment means (1), at least in regions, a number of grooves (6) being provided on the shaft (2) which extend substantially parallel to the central axis (X) of the shaft (2).
Plastic fastener dispensing hand tool having a novel anvil design to reduce needle sticks
An improved hand tool for dispensing plastic fasteners having a novel anvil design and a needle. The hand tool has a gun shaped casing with a barrel portion and a handle portion. The casing has a needle assembly opening at the front of the barrel portion and a trigger slot at the front of the handle portion. The hand tool further has a hollow needle disposed on one end of a needle assembly. The hand tool further has a trigger that is pivotally mounted within the casing that extends out from the trigger slot. The hand tool further has an anvil.
Joining method
In a joining method for joining a first plate material and a second plate material by screwing a self-tapping screw from one direction in a state where the first plate material and the second plate material are put on top of each other, a recessed portion is formed in at least one of the first plate material and the second plate material, and in a state where the first plate material and the second plate material are put on top of each other such that the recessed portion is opened in a contacting face between the first plate material and the second plate material, the self-tapping screw is screwed from the one direction. When the self-tapping screw penetrates through the first plate material due to the screwing of the self-tapping screw, an excess part generated from the first plate material flows into the recessed portion.
BULK TEXTURED MATERIAL SHEETING
A process is provided for making bulk textured material sheeting. As a continuous supply of flat material sheeting is fed, the sheeting is repeatedly impacted with toothed knives, each knife creating a row of raised and generally pointed structures on the sheeting to texture the sheeting.
Concrete nailer having magazine cutout for deep tracks
A concrete nailer has a cutout defined by a magazine. The cutout is disposed proximate the drive track of the concrete nailer and provides the concrete nailer with sufficient reach to perpendicularly nail a complete range of U-shaped channels or track available to the job site against concrete, even though the magazine accommodates both long and short nails. The concrete nailer has the added ability to nail thick boards like 24's to concrete.
Insertable fastener installation apparatus and method
An insertable fastener installation apparatus for a flat substrate has a thickness, T. A roller press station is used to press T-nuts into holes in the substrate. An optical vision system detects the location of the holes in the moving substrate and aligns the t-nuts with the holes. A computer controlled pick and place robot takes T-nuts from an escapement of a hopper feed system and aligns, but does not fully insert, the t-nuts in the substrate. A conveyor system feeds the substrates through the optical vision system, the pick and place robot station and the roller press station. A first roller is spaced apart from a second roller by a gap in the roller press station and the gap is less than the thickness of the substrate. The hopper feed system includes a bulk hopper, a bowl, a track and an escapement.
