INTERVERTEBRAL IMPLANT
An adjustable spinal fusion intervertebral implant including upper and lower body portions each having proximal and distal surfaces at proximal and distal ends thereof. The implant can include a proximal wedge member disposed at the proximal ends of the respective ones of the upper and lower body portions, and a distal wedge member disposed at the distal ends of the respective ones of the upper and lower body portions. First and second linkages can connect the upper and lower body portions. Rotation of an actuator shaft can cause the distal and proximal wedge members to be drawn together such that longitudinal movement of the distal wedge member against the distal surfaces and the longitudinal movement of the proximal wedge member against the proximal surfaces causes separation of the upper and lower body portions.
Light guide apparatus and fabrication method thereof
A light guide apparatus that can redirect light impinging on the apparatus over a wide range of incident angles and can concentrate light without using a tracking system and methods for fabrication.
COATING FOR PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT OF SEMICONDUCTOR APPARATUS
A plasma processing chamber having advanced coating for the showerhead and for an extended bottom electrode. The extended bottom electrode can be formed by one or more of the focus ring, cover ring, and plasma confinement ring. The extended electrode can be formed using a one-piece composite cover ring. The composite cover ring may be made of Al.sub.2O.sub.3 and include a Y.sub.2O.sub.3 plasma resistant coating. The plasma confinement ring may include a flow equalization ion shield that may also be provided with the plasma resistant coating. The plasma resistant coating of the extended electrode may have elements matching that of the showerhead.

Apparatus and Method for Repairing the Junction of a Sewer Main and Lateral Pipe
The present invention is an improved method and assembly for repairing a pipe or the junction of two pipes, such as sewer pipes. The assembly includes a launcher device having a launcher device body, a launcher device opening disposed on the launcher device body, and a main bladder substantially surrounding the launcher device body. The main bladder includes an opening that substantially aligns with the launcher device opening. The assembly further includes an absorbent liner and a lateral bladder having a tubular lateral bladder body portion and a flange portion. The flange portion of the lateral bladder is attached to the exterior of the launcher device body. A method of using the assembly includes impregnating the liner with resinous material; inserting at least a portion of the liner into the lateral bladder; inflating the bladders; pressing the liner against the pipe; and allowing the resinous material to cure and harden.

Method of installing a sleeve lock assembly
A method of installing a sleeve lock assembly may include mounting a male ring member on a sleeve, installing an annular locking member of the male ring member into the female ring member, and threadably engaging a threaded interior portion of the female ring member to a threaded exterior portion of the male ring member. The method may additionally include rotating the male and female ring members relative to one another, compressing the locking member radially inwardly in response to rotating the male and female ring members relative to one another, and preventing movement of the sleeve lock assembly relative to the sleeve in response to engaging annular gripping flanges of the annular locking member to the sleeve outer surface.
SPILL CONTAINING REFRIGERATOR SHELF ASSEMBLY
The specification discloses a method for containing spills on shelving and the like, and the resulting support members made in accordance with the method, by providing the generally flat top surface of a support with a hydrophobic surface which is arranged in a spill containment pattern and which is generally in the plane of the top surface of the support. The majority of the top surface of the support consists of one or more spill containment areas which are of a non-hydrophobic nature and which are bounded by the hydrophobic surfaces, such that spills on the shelving collect in the non-hydrophobic spill containment area or areas and are prevented from spreading by the hydrophobic surfaces.
Brachytherapy source assembly
An embodiment of the present disclosure is directed to a brachytherapy source assembly including a guiding wire and a brachytherapy capsule located at a distal end of the guiding wire. The capsule includes a chamber defined by a wall for holding a radioactive source. At least a portion of an exterior surface of the wall of the capsule includes at least one of a friction-reducing coating, a wear-resistant coating, and a wear-indication coating a coating.
