A process and a kit-of-parts for dyeing keratinous material such as human hair are provided. An exemplary process includes applying an agent (a) to the keratinous material. The agent (a) includes (a1) at least one organic silicon compound. The method further includes applying an agent (b) to the keratinous material. The agent (b) includes (b1) at least one coloring compound comprising at least one effect pigment comprising a substrate platelet and a coating. The coating includes at least one layer wet-chemically prepared using a metal alkoxide and an organosilicon compound having a basic group. The agent (b) further includes (b2) at least one film-forming polymer.

Composition for natural skin brightening effect
The present invention relates to a composition for a keratin substance, such as skin, comprising: (a) at least one plate type filler having a particle size of 10 μm or less, preferably 5 μm or less, and more preferably 3 μm or less; (b) at least one pearlescent pigment having a particle size of 15 μm or less, preferably 12 μm or less, and more preferably 10 μm or less; and (c) at least one hollow or porous particle, wherein the (a) plate type filler has a refractive index of 2.0 or less, preferably 1.9 or less, and more preferably 1.8 or less, and the (b) pearlescent pigment has a colored reflection. The composition according to the present invention can provide a keratin substance with sufficient coverage of imperfections on the keratin substance, while providing the keratin substance with brightness and natural finish.
SILICONE/HYDROCARBON COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS
Cosmetic compositions may include a first phase that includes at least about 8% by weight of the composition of a thermoplastic block copolymer comprising styrenated blocks, and at least one hydrocarbon oil, and a second phase that includes at least 20% by weight of the composition of a dimethicone. To provide the necessary stability to such systems, the compositions utilize both a hectorite and silica silylate, where the hectorite is disteardimonium hectorite, stearalkonium hectorite, or both.
