COSMETIC AND DERMATOLOGICAL COMPOSITIONS
Cosmetic and dermatological compositions, including color changing compositions, are provided which typically include a plurality of synthetic particles having a size in the micrometer or nanometer range. Each synthetic particle typically includes one or more aggregates of a pigment selected from phenoxazone, phenoxazine, and a derivate or precursor thereof, and a stabilizing material which has a refractive index larger than 1.45; the aggregates having a size larger than about 100 nm and the composition being biodegradable and biocompatible.
Non-Mutagenic Photochromic Dye
A method of solubilizing a composition, such as an organic manufactured photochromic dye that is free of carcinogens, non-mutagenic, non-toxic to human skin in any concentration, and suitable for application to, and absorbable by, human skin. The photochromic dye is suitable to be applied directly to human skin, and which dye is configured to indicate exposure to UV rays. The composition is configured to change color upon exposure to UVA, UVB and/or UVC rays. The composition can be used with other compositions, such as sunscreen, and be applied to human skin prior to application of the sunscreen, or, formulated with the sunscreen such that when the active ingredients of the sunscreen diminish, the photochromic dye will change color to generate a visual indicator of this condition.
ASSEMBLY AND PROCESS FOR MAKING UP A KERATIN MATERIAL
The present invention relates to an assembly for making up a keratin material, in particular the nails, the lips, the eyelids, the eyelashes, the eyebrows or the contour of the eyes, comprising at least: a first composition intended to be applied to the keratin material, the first composition being a composition that is capable of forming a reflective coat, a second composition intended to be applied onto the first composition, said second composition being a translucent and coloured composition. The present invention also relates to a makeup process.

COMPOSITIONS FOR DYEING HAIR WITH CATIONIC DIRECT DYES
Described herein is a hair color composition for dyeing the hair. The hair color composition includes one or more direct dye compounds and one or more additional ingredients. The one or more direct dye compounds each include a chromophore, one or two permanent cations, one to four incipient cations, and one or more hydrophobic moieties. The incipient cations are pendant to the core structure and are neutral. The one or more direct dye compounds enter the hair shaft after the hair color composition is applied to the hair. The hair color composition has a pH of from about 7 to about 11.

Stabilizing additives for thermochromic pigments
A microencapsulation process is improved by adding a stabilizing agent that contains one or more catalytic organo-metal oxide materials, such as metal soaps. This functions as a crosslinker by causing unsaturated bonds in the microcapsule walls to react, thereby stabilizing the microcapsules against the effects of additives to coatings that, otherwise, degrade the functionality of thermochromic or photochromic materials at the microcapsule core.
