Bridle Delivery System, Method, and Apparatus for Securing Nasal Tubes
Systems, methods, and apparatus for securing nasal tubes are disclosed. An exemplary system includes a bridle, a magnetic portion connected to the bridle, a delivery probe, a retrieval probe, and a clamp. The delivery probe includes an elongated member having proximal and distal ends, the distal end configured to deliver the magnetic portion, and a bridle lock configured to release the bridle upon actuation of an actuator. The retrieval probe includes an elongated member having proximal and distal ends, the distal end including a magnetic portion configured to magnetically couple with the other magnetic portion, and a magnetic coupling indicator configured to provide an indication in response to a magnetic coupling. The clamp includes a channel portion with an inside diameter larger than an outside diameter of a nasal tube. The clamp is configured to secure the nasal tube following placement of the bridle by the delivery and retrieval probes.
Securement device for a protruding oral or nasal device
A securement device for a protruding oral or nasal device includes a continuous strip extending along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end. The continuous strip has a first anchor portion at the first end, a second anchor portion at the second end, a first bridge portion, a second bridge portion, and an adhesive for affixing the strip to a patient. The first bridge portion is disposed between the first anchor portion and the second bridge portion, the second bridge portion is disposed between the first bridge portion and the second anchor portion, the second bridge portion extends at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis. The first anchor portion and the second anchor portion are offset from one another relative to the longitudinal axis.

Compositions and devices to administer pharmaceutical compositions nasally
Devices and methods for nasal administration of a pharmaceutical composition. In certain embodiments, the devices comprises a reservoir, a conduit in fluid communication with the reservoir, and an anatomic positioning device configured to position the conduit in a nasal cavity of a user. Particular embodiments include an actuator configured to transfer the pharmaceutical composition from the reservoir to the conduit and emit the pharmaceutical composition from the conduit.
Gas delivery device
A system for delivery of a gas to a user has a single tubular nasal cavity component having only two terminal ends: a gas inlet and a gas outlet with a single gas flow path between. The component is configured for insertion into the nostril of a user and maintains the position without adhesive. The nasal cavity component includes a first portion having a first longitudinal axis along the single gas flow path. A proximal end of the first portion is flared outward for insertion into a nostril of a patient. A second portion has a second longitudinal axis, and a gas inlet end to receive gas from a gas supply. A distal end of the second portion intersects a distal end of the first portion in a bend portion, such that the first and second longitudinal axes intersect at an angle of between about 60 and about 80.
Transnasal Tube
This invention relates to a transnasal tube assembly comprising a transnasal tube and an integrated tether for anchoring the transnasal tube, wherein the integrated tether is permanently fixed to the transnasal tube at a first fixation point, and wherein the integrated tether is reversibly fixable to the transnasal tube at a second fixation point.
PATIENT INTERFACE
A patient interface includes a first body that rests on a first portion of a patient's face, a second body that rests on a second portion of the patient's face, and a bridge linking the first and second bodies. The patient interface includes an attachment structure that couples with a complementary fixation structure positioned on the patient's face to secure the patient interface to the patient's face. The complementary fixation structure can be configured to assist in retaining a feeding tube in position relative to the patient's face or to the patient interface.
Nasal and pharyngeal palatal support
A system includes a platform configured for insertion into a user's nostril and a catheter. The platform includes a board having first and second major surfaces and a support extending from the board. The support includes an aperture therethrough. The catheter includes an inflatable tube and a lumen having first and second ends, the first end connected to the tube and the second end connected to a pressurized fluid source for inflating the tube. The tube is configured for insertion through the aperture. A method includes inserting a platform into a user's nostril, inserting a catheter through an aperture of the platform, and inflating a tube of the catheter. Inflating the tube is accomplished by introducing a pressurized fluid through a lumen of the catheter, to thereby cause the tube to conform to a passage of the user's nasal or pharyngeal region.
NASAL BRIDLE CLIP APPLIER AND RELATED METHOD
A receiver for securing at least one tube in a patient includes a shell operable in a first position for receiving the tube and a second position for securing the tube, and a compressible member supported by the shell for contacting the tube in the second position. A bridle looped around the patient's septum may also be secured in the second position. A system for securing the tube includes a receiver and an applier. The applier supports the receiver in the first position and transitions the receiver from the first position to the second position after the tube is positioned within the receiver. A method of securing a tube includes positioning the tube in a patient, placing a flexible member around the patient's nasal septum, receiving the tube and flexible member in a shell supported by an applier, and operating the applier to move the shell to a closed position.
Nose respirator device
A nose respirator device with a holder connected to a base. The holder has a top which is configured to sit on a nasal bridge and is joined on each side with an arm which extends downward and each arm joins the base which is configured to sit across a subnasale underneath nose tip. The base contains two separate open cavities, each open cavity has an upper opening shaped like a cone suitable for insertion into a nostril. Each open cavity of the two separate open cavities can be further divided by a separator into two channels. Valves installed along inside wall of each channel control air flow as the valves are configured to open only in one direction when being pushed by air current. Filters can be fitted into each cavity or each channel within each cavity for air cleaning.
