ELECTRODE BODY AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR ELECTRODE BODY
This disclosure provides an electrode body in which an electrode is firmly fixed to a gel without performing electrolytic polymerization. In the electrode body, at a least part of a surface of an electrode is uneven, at least a part of the uneven surface of the electrode is covered with a gel, the gel has a three-dimensional network structure, at least a part of the uneven surface is in contact with the three-dimensional network structure and is embedded inside the three-dimensional network structure. The electrode is preferably a laminated body in which a resin layer is laminated on both surfaces of a conductive base material. It is more preferably that the conductive base material be a fabric woven from fibers and the uneven surface be a surface of the fabric.
SYSTEMS AND INTERFACES FOR OCULAR THERAPY
Methods, systems and apparatuses for delivering electrical or other therapy in the vicinity of the eye, comprising eyepieces having a plurality of electrodes that are placed on the eyelid. Some examples are just eyepieces having a periphery that partly surrounds the eye, other examples fully surround the eye or include a temporal portion configured to extend to the temple of the user. Some examples also include a field that covers the eye to take the form of a goggle. Numerous configurations for power supply and therapy output are discussed.
METHODS FOR TREATMENT OF DISEASE USING GALVANIC VESTIBULAR STIMULATION
Methods are provided for treating diseases by altering body mass composition in a human subject through application of galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVS) using electrodes placed in electrical contact with the subject's scalp at a location corresponding to each of the subject's left and right vestibular systems. The methods may be used to treat obesity-related diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus and osteoporosis. GVS may be applied for a predetermined period of time at regular intervals.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR APPLYING ELECTRICAL ENERGY TO TREAT PSORIASIS
Methods and apparatuses for treating a medical disorder by the application of non-invasive electrical stimulation. The applied electrical energy may cause autonomic nervous system (ANS) neuromodulation. In general, described herein are methods for electrical energy to a subject, and particularly to the subject's neck with an electrical waveform adapted to improve the medical disorder. Specifically, described herein are methods and apparatuses for treating a patient having psoriasis by non-invasively applying electrical energy.
KLOTHO MODULATION
Described is a low voltage, pulsed electrical stimulation device for controlling expression of klotho, a useful protein, by tissues. Also described are methods of enhancing expression of klotho in cells.
KIDNEY TREATMENT
Described is a low voltage, pulsed electrical stimulation device for controlling expression of klotho, a useful protein, by tissues. Also described are methods of enhancing expression of klotho in cells and treating a subject's kidneys.
Apparatus and method for treating cancer cells and bacteria in mammals including humans
Bacteria, cancer cells, fungus and other harmful cells located beneath the surface of a mammal body can be effectively destroyed by passing an electrical current through the area to be treated. Electrodes are positioned on either side of the area to be treated, for example, gums, fingers, arms, legs, feet and torso, and an electric current is caused to flow between the electrodes and through the area to be treated. The electric current will destroy the bacteria, cancer cells, fungus or other harmful cells.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ENHANCING MEMORY CONSOLIDATION
The present invention relates to methods and devices to consolidate memory and/or cognitive functions by monitoring brain rhythms and delivering a stimulus at an appropriate stage of sleep cycle.
ELECTROTHERAPY INSOLE APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD
An electrotherapy insole apparatus comprises an electrotherapy device and an insole. The electrotherapy device provides the electrotherapy stimulation and/or heat to the insole, and the insole contacts the foot of a user for the electrotherapy. The electrotherapy device attaches to and detaches from the insole. This allows the user to wash the insole if necessary. Also, this allows the user to replace the insole if necessary, providing an affordable replacement of insole and a long use of the electrotherapy device. The integrated circuit board inside the electrotherapy device is powered by the rechargeable battery or similar power source.
FACIAL SKIN CARE DEVICE AND OPERATION METHOD THEREFOR
A facial skin care device and a method of operating the same are disclosed. The facial skin care device comprises an oral insertion module configured to have a structure inserted in an oral cavity and include one or more oral electrodes contacted with a skin in the oral cavity, and a main body configured to include a main electrode connected electrically to at least one of the oral electrode on an outer surface of a facial skin and a current generation unit which is connected to the main electrode and generates current for applying electrical stimulation to the facial skin.
