Muscle Injury Prevention and Muscle Strengthening System
A muscle injury prevention and muscle strengthening system has an electrode harness, a controller, electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) electrodes, and an environmental sensor. The electrode harness secures around the patient's body holding the EMS electrodes in contact with the patient's body. The EMS electrodes send targeted electrical pulses at the motor nerves of the patient. The environmental sensor observes responses from the patient while monitoring external environmental factors. The environmental sensors range from EMG sensors to location sensors to gather important information about the patient and the environment. The controller manages the operation of the electrical components of the present invention. The present invention is fastened securely to the patient throughout all exercises and activities to properly stimulate the patient and gather responses from the patient.

Non-Invasive Nerve Stimulation System and Method
A system and method for the transcutaneous stimulation of various nerves such as the phrenic, hypoglossal, and vagal nerves is provided. The stimulation elicits a corresponding muscle response without reported pain.
COMPACT DC SYSTEM FOR DELIVERING A SQUARE WAVE AC SIGNAL
Apparatus and methods for imposing electric fields through a target region in a body of a patient are described. Generally, the apparatus may include an electric field generator having a first circuit generating a first output signal having a positive voltage; a second circuit generating a second output signal having a negative voltage, and a processor executing processor executable instructions to alternatingly enable the first output signal, and the second output signal to a first port and a second port to generate an alternating current square wave in a frequency range from 50 kHz to 1 MHz.
Devices, Systems, And Methods For Applying Tumor-Treating Fields
An assembly for delivering tumor-treating fields to a body of a patient can include an electrode subassembly and one or more replaceable adhesive subassemblies. Each adhesive subassembly can have a support layer having a first side and a second side. The support layer can define at least one opening. Each electrode of the electrode subassembly can be received within a respective opening of the at least one opening. A first adhesive can be disposed on the first side of the support layer and can couple the support layer to an inner side of a covering layer of the electrode subassembly at an attachment surface of the covering layer. A biocompatible conductive adhesive can be disposed on the second side of the support layer.
Methods and systems for treating hypertension using energy-stimulated acupuncture applied to predefined acupuncture points
Energy stimulated acupuncture, directed to a novel set of acupoints, is implemented to treat hypertension. The disclosed methods and systems are directed toward the application of electrical stimulation, or other forms of energy, to specific acupuncture points, using devices such as transcutaneous electrical stimulation electroacupuncture devices, laser acupuncture devices or ultrasound acupuncture devices, to treat hypertension, particularly in middle-aged women.
APPARATUS FOR ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE PIN-TO-HOLE SPARK DISCHARGE AND USES THEREOF
Disclosed herein are atmospheric pressure pin-to-hole pulsed spark discharge devices and methods for creating plasma. The devices include a conduit for fluidically communicating a gas, a plasma, or both, therethrough, portion of the conduit capable of being connected to a gas supply, and a second portion of the conduit capable of emitting a plasma; a positive electrode comprising a sharp tip; and a ground plate electrode. Disclosed are methods for treating a skin ulcer using non-thermal plasma include flowing a gas through a cold spark discharge zone simultaneously with the creation of a pulsed spark discharge to give rise to a non-thermal plasma emitted from a conduit, the non-thermal plasma comprising NO; and contacting a skin ulcer with said non-thermal plasma for sufficient time and intensity to give rise to treatment of the skin ulcer.
ADJUSTABLE HEADPIECE WITH ANATOMICAL MARKERS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
The invention generally relates to an adjustable headpiece with anatomical markers and methods of use thereof. In certain embodiments, the invention provides an apparatus that includes a headpiece configured to be worn on a head of a user. The headpiece includes at least a first receptacle configured to receive and retain a first energy source, and the headpiece is adjustable in at least one direction. There is at least one anatomical marker coupled to the headpiece. In that manner, a position of the receptacle can be adjustably aligned to a region of neural tissue in the head based on an alignment of the at least one anatomical marker with its designated anatomical structure.
High voltage connectors and electrodes for pulse generators
A handheld, therapeutic electrode and connector that are compatible with high voltages from a pulse generator are disclosed. The electrode includes therapeutic terminals on a tip configured to deliver high voltage pulses safely to a patient. The electrode includes sleeves, bosses, wiring channels, and other features that maximize a minimum clearance distance (across non-conductive surfaces) and air clearance between conductive connectors themselves or the connectors and a user, thus preventing dangerous arcing. Internal surfaces and seams are taken into account. The connector and its mating outlet can include similar features to maximize clearance distance. Skirts, skirt holes, and finger stops are also employed, and they can be on either the connector or outlet, or the tip or handle of the electrode.
