MOTION ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
A motion assistance apparatus including a first support configured to support a waist of a user, a side frame connected to the first support and configured to cover at least a portion of a side of the waist, and a joint assembly connected to the side frame such that a location of the joint assembly is adjustable in a longitudinal direction of the side frame, and configured to be located at a part of a hip joint of the user is disclosed.
Exercise apparatus
Apparatus suitable for pilates and other exercise comprises rails, supported on a box-like frame and an exercise carriage, mounted on the rails, wherein the carriage comprises a first carriage section and a second carriage section which sections can be (i) connected together to form a single exercise carriage which slides forwards and backwards on the rails, or (ii) disconnected to form two exercise carriages which independently slide forwards and backwards on the rails. The apparatus also has a seat with a spring-biased foot pedal and a spring-biased trapeze bar.
Vehicle driver exercising system
A vehicle driver exercising system includes a pair of hand exercising members each removably engaged with a steering wheel. The hand exercising members each include a clip having an inner surface and an outer surface. The clip receives the steering wheel and a base is attached to the outer surface. A housing is slidably mounted to an upper surface of the base and has an outer flange is movable between an extended position extended upwardly from and spaced away from the base or a collapsed position abutting the base. A biasing member is positioned in the base and biases the housing toward the extended position.
KNEE REHABILITATION EXERCISE DEVICE
A knee rehabilitation exercise device with a right and left leg brace, a rear knee strap, an upper leg strap assembly, a lower leg strap assembly, a portable rear brace assembly and an elastic resistance band. The left and right leg brace members are each comprised of an upper member and a lower member rotatably pinned together at the area of the knee joint. The left and right leg braces are attached to the upper and lower leg strap assembly. The rear knee strap is attached to the left and right leg braces at the knee joint. When a user places the elastic band onto L hooks mounted on the upper and lower strap assembly and the rear brace assembly is placed between the rear of the user's knee and the elastic band, a resistive stretching is caused when the user straightens his leg which exercises and strengthens the users leg muscles in the area of the knee joint.
JOINT FOR REHABILITATION DEVICE
A joint for a rehabilitation device and a rehabilitation device are disclosed. The joint is defined for operation between an end of a first member and an end of a second member. The joint enables the second member to pivot at the joint with respect to the first member. The joint includes a positioning mechanism for defining a set position from which the second member pivots. The joint also includes a restriction mechanism for restricting the degree of pivoting of the second member, from the set position. The joint further includes a biasing mechanism for biasing the second member such that it returns to the set position when an opposing force applied to the second member is less than the bias of the biasing mechanism. When the joint is in the set position, the biasing mechanism is configured such that no bias is applied to the second member.
GRIP EXERCISER WITH INTERCHANGEABLE RESISTANCE ELEMENTS
Exerciser for strengthening the grip of the hand and/or muscles of the forearm having a pair of handgrips or handles which are removably mounted on the arms of a helical torsion spring in a manner permitting the grips to be used interchangeably with springs having different strengths or resistances. The handgrips are fabricated at least in part of rubber or other rubberized material with longitudinally extending bores having resilient side walls configured for frictional engagement with spring arms of different diameters in a manner that permits rotational slippage of the handgrips about the spring arms and limits axial movement of the handgrips on the spring arms when the grip exerciser is in use and permits the handgrips to slide axially along the spring arms during installation and removal of the handgrips.
Portable abdominal workout equipment and associated systems and methods
A portable exercise device for exercising abdominal muscles includes a base and at least one support. The base includes a front end, a back end, and a top side between the front end and the back end. The support includes a front end, a back end, and a top side between the front end and the back end of the support. The support is pivotably attached to the base and has a range of motion relative to the base, and the top side of the base and the top side of the support together define a sitting surface for a user.
Incontinency abatement system
A body having first and second segments is shaped to include distal and proximal and intermediate portions. The segments are hollow to form a chamber. A hinge pin in the proximal portion rotatably couples the segments. A spring within the chamber urges the segments to an open orientation. A locking assembly within the chamber selectively holds the segments in the open orientation and selectively holds the segments in the closed orientation.
Comprehensive fitness equipment leg press
The present invention relates to a comprehensive fitness equipment leg press that allows a user to do a weight training leg press exercise for training a lower body of the user by the user sitting on a bench and pushing a footrest included in a footrest frame, which moves back and forth smoothly along a central frame for adjusting a weight of the footrest frame. The comprehensive fitness equipment leg press includes a weight adjusting unit from 10 kg to 200 kg through a hydraulic cylinder formed on a lower end of the bench, without using 15 10 kg weights, and a hydraulic cylinder rod connection installed on a body of a weight adjusting bar using a principle of a lever for adjusting the weight of the footrest of the footrest frame.
