REHABILITATION AND EXERCISE DEVICE
The present invention provides a resistance training and rehabilitation device. The device includes a headband strap, a rigid outer ring, and a plurality of elastomeric cords that provide resistance when a user manipulates the device with any one of the user's body parts to be exercised. When the user of the device manually engages the device and motions his or her body part being exercised, resistance is created that applies force causing exertion of the user's muscles. The device offers strength and range of motion exercise for various muscles of the user's body.
Joint Rotational Exercise and Stretching Tool
A joint rotational exercise and stretching tool for strengthening muscles and connective tissues, particularly for shoulder internal and external rotation, with further applicability to the wrist, elbow, and hip. The device includes a mount, torque-generating mechanism, and ergonomic lever arm configured to align with anatomical joint axes. It enables concentric, eccentric, isometric, and passive modes of use. Unlike traditional tools that provide linear resistance or partial-range torque, this invention delivers continuous rotational resistance across the full arc of motion. Configurable mounting and ergonomic adjustments allow use across various joints, limb lengths, and exercise positions. Suitable for rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance training in clinical, home, or athletic environments.
Adjustable-force resistance cable retractor
Apparatuses and methods for providing adjustable levels of resistances are disclosed. In some embodiments, the apparatus comprises a resistance module configured to provide a resistance. In some embodiments, the resistance module is configured to provide a constant-force resistance. In some embodiments, the apparatus comprises a continuously-variable gear for providing a continuously-variable resistance.
EXERCISE MACHINE EMPLOYING ONE OR MORE FLEXIBLE TENSION BANDS
An exercise machine employing tension bands includes a pair of exercise arms rotatably mounted on frame members. Connectors are located on the exercise arms and on frame members vertically above and below the rotatable mount. Tension band(s) is (are) connected to vertically spaced-apart connectors, whereby rotation of the exercise arms in upward or downward directions stretches the flexible tension band(s) to create a force opposing rotation of the exercise arms. Connectors above and below the rotatable mount of the exercise arms can be C-rings for receiving a tension band(s) thereon. Exercise arm-engaging members are below rotatable mounts of the exercise arms and include a roll at a distal end for supporting the exercise arms. Rotatable brackets are attached to the exercise arms for retaining hand-gripping members. Side arms rotatable on frame members include telescopic sections including a connector adjacent an outer end for retaining a flexible tension band thereon.
VARIABLE-RESISTANCE CABLE TRAINING ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF USE
A cable training assembly disposable within a portable housing includes a cable configured for pulling by a user and a screw mechanism configured to deflect at least one spring. The deflection of the spring exerts a retraction force on the cable in opposition to a force exerted on the cable by the user. A selector assembly includes a knob that is rotatable by the user to select or deselect a spring acting on the cable.
ABDOMINAL EXERCISER
The present invention relates to the technical field of fitness equipment, specifically to an abdominal exerciser, including a machine frame portion and a movement portion rotatably connected to the machine frame portion. The movement portion includes a seat cushion assembly and a foot frame assembly. The abdominal exerciser further includes an elastic resistance mechanism, the elastic resistance mechanism is connected to both the machine frame portion and the movement portion, the elastic resistance mechanism is driven by the movement portion to undergo elastic deformation, and the elastic deformation provides movement resistance for relative rotation of the movement portion on the machine frame portion. The present invention provides movement resistance for the movement portion through the elastic deformation of the elastic resistance mechanism, thereby enhancing the exercise intensity and meeting the needs of high-intensity exercise.
