Lower body fitness apparatus for providing enhanced muscle engagement, body stability and range of motion
A lower body fitness apparatus is disclosed, which provides enhanced gluteal muscle engagement, body stability, and range of motion. The apparatus includes a base, a frame, a line-swiveling assembly, and a gripping device that is horizontally displaced from the line-swiveling assembly's swivel axis, allowing a user to stabilize themselves in tripod posture during exercise. Thus a user can perform full range of motion for any combination of hip extension and hip abduction under resistance transmitted by a line, all from a central standing position that substantially straddles the swivel axis. This functional framework of elements can be realized through a variety of possible embodiments. While the frame provides space for leaning during exercise, it may otherwise vary in structural design. The line's resistance can be generated by any means contemplated by one of ordinary skill, such as lifting weight, stretching an elastic band, bending a flexible rod, or other means.
EXERCISE LOOPS
Exercise loops 1 comprise a first loop 2, a second loop 3, and a third loop 4 each formed by joining opposite ends of an elastic elongated member into a ring shape, wherein the first loop 2 and the third loop 4 are each connected so as to be interlocked with the second loop 3. The first loop 2 and the third loop 4 preferably comprise fasteners 2b, 4b that secure engagement parts engaged with the second loop 3 and that are movable along the elongated members. The first loop 2 and the third loop 4 can be connected so as to be interlocked with each other.
Adjustable Strength Magnetic Strap System for Athletic Training
An adjustable strength magnetic strap system for athletic training. Two straps, one for each opposing appendage, can be readily secured by wrapping them around and tightening them using hook and loop fastener material to an arm or leg in one or more locations. The adjustable straps are further defined by one or more pockets that can be used to retain one or more different strength magnets in the sealed assorted pouches. The various magnets can be combined together, providing for multiple hold strengths. The straps can also be using in combination with various attachments to expand use options, such as a thigh extension strap/wrist extension and a strap/arm-neck extension strap.
MODULAR EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device and an inflatable alternative are provided. The exercise device is composed of a planar base attached to block(s). The block(s) may serve as cushioning or weighted items to enable a variety of exercises. The planar base is securable against a structure such as a door frame. The planar base is also convertible to a bench with shaft(s) that connect block(s) to form legs for the bench. The inflatable alternative includes a top end that is securable to the structure. A bottom end of the inflatable alternative is securable to a user through an ankle cuff. The ankle cuff provides the user a measure of control over a mobility of the inflatable alternative during an exercise.
Training footwear
A kit includes a pair of items of footwear; wherein each item of footwear includes a brace that is arranged to be releasably secured to at least part of a wearer's leg and/or foot; a platform that is operably connected to the brace; and a securing mechanism for releasably securing a balancing member, or a stack of balancing members, underneath the platform. The kit includes balancing members for each item of footwear so that one balancing member can be replaced with another balancing member that has a smaller ground-contacting area, or so that it can have another balancing member with a smaller ground-contacting area stacked underneath it.
Wrestling training harness
The wrestling training harness comprises an upper body harness, a pair of leg sleeves, a pair of ankle sleeves, and a pair of tension cables. The wrestling training harness may be a training aid adapted for use by an athlete. The wrestling training harness may be adapted to force a ready position stance and may build strength in the legs and core section. The upper body harness, the pair of leg sleeves, and the pair of ankle sleeves may be adapted to be worn by the athlete and the pair of tension cables may provide tension to force the ready position stance. As a non-limiting example, the athlete may be a wrestler.
Nordic side-kick exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus includes a base plate; a weight horn that extends from the base plate along a weight horn axis transverse to the base plate; and a restraint assembly that extends from the base plate along a restraint assembly axis transverse to the base plate.
Portable resistance workout apparatuses and systems
The present disclosure contemplates a portable strength-training apparatus, system, and method for conducting strength-training exercises using resistance bands. The apparatus of the present disclosure can serve as an anchor while conducting the strength training exercises using the resistance bands. The apparatus and system of the present disclosure can allow for safely performing the strength-training exercises at varying resistance levels while allowing exercises at any angle. The apparatus, system, and method of the present disclosure may allow a user to strength train the user's entire body with the resistance bands. The apparatus and system of the present disclosure may include a base platform with base attachment mechanisms that can be coupled with the resistance bands which are in turn coupled with human interface mechanisms such as grips, wraps, or bars.
Gluteus maximus power lift apparatus
The gluteal muscles are exercised using a vertical lift strategy. It is much improved over common buttock exercise methods of sitting, laying, squatting or pushing weight horizontally. The (GM) power lift apparatus is operated in a standing position. Using commercial exercise design methods, the GM power lift apparatus is designed around the lifting of a variable weight plate stack. Three pullies redirect the pull force of the weight plate under the operator's foot as lift on the gluteus maximus muscle group. The new standing design allows improved muscle agitation by making the gluteus maximus muscle group lift a vertical payload, the maximum angle of force. During the power lift stroke, the foot, leg and back muscles are vertically synchronized to horizontal stretched forearms providing greater strength management.
Wearable and detachable exercise accessory
A highly portable exercise device utilizing resistance bands is provided. The exercise device includes two ends, each end with a gripping component and latching mechanism. The latching mechanism comprising two magnets, wherein each magnet is secured to opposing ends of the device. A user can thereby hold one end of the exercise device in one hand and secure the other end of the device in either the other hand or against a surface. The user can move his or her body to create tension in the exercise device allowing the user to perform a plurality of different exercises by applying a force to intended muscles.
