Resistance training system
A resistance training system includes a tackle providing mechanical advantage, and a user performs strength training exercises by pulling or pushing on the running block while resisting motion of the running block by pulling or pushing on the free end of the runner, and a method of using the resistance training system to perform strength training of the arms and upper body includes pulling or pushing on the running block with one hand while resisting motion of the free end with the other hand.
EXERCISE DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
An exercise device includes an elastic cord disposed within a pair of separate pads. The first and second pads are each provided with a pad length that approximates a circumferential length of the cord. In various embodiments, a flexible sleeve is coaxially disposed around the circumferential length of the cord and within the lengths of the first and second pads.
FLAT RESISTANCE BAND WITH RELEASABLE CONNECTIBLE ENDS FOR CREATING A RELEASABLE FLAT LOOP RESISTANCE BAND
A flat resistance band with releasable connectible ends for creating a releasable flat loop resistance band includes a flat flexible band, a first connector and a second connector. The flat flexible band has a length and a rectangular cross-section with a width and a thickness. The first connector is on a first end portion of the flat flexible band. The second connector is on a second end portion of the flat flexible band. Wherein, the first connector is configured to releasably connect with the second connector thereby creating a releasable connection between the first end portion of the flat flexible band and the second end portion of the flat flexible band. Whereby, when the releasable connection is formed between the first connector and the second connector, a releasable flat loop resistance band is created.
Resistance training device and method
A method for use with a physical training device is provided. The device including an elastic resistance strap having first and second handles. The method includes pulling at least one of the first and second handles to generate force on a target muscle group through resistance training. The method also includes pulling the at least one of the first and second handles to generate anaerobic and aerobic muscle activity within the target muscle group through cardiovascular interval training.
Exercise device
A portable exercise device for exercising the muscles of the upper body and thighs. The device comprises a pair of elongate members having a body engaging element for receiving the thighs of the user to hold the device in a stable, fixed position, a spring portion that joins the elongate members in a generally parallel configuration, and optionally a pair of handgrips at the ends of the elongate members. Methods of using the device of the invention are also provided.
Resistance Training System and Assisted Training Method
A resistance training system includes a tackle providing mechanical advantage, and a user performs strength training exercises by pulling or pushing on the running block while resisting motion of the running block by pulling or pushing on the free end of the runner. The running block, fixed block and free end of the system may be secured at various locations of the body.
Arm, Leg and Core Exercise Machines
An upper extremity, lower extremity, and core weight resistance mechanical exercise apparatus having a sequence of novel pulley systems and continuous cabling allowing customized isolated and compound exercises with plate lifting assistance and quicker and easier selection of resistances without moving from the user seat, and user-selectable resistances from graded, weight plate stacks with each plate increasing as the selected weight is increased.
RESISTANCE TRAINING SYSTEM
A resistance training system. The training system includes a tackle providing mechanical advantage, and a user performs strength training exercises by pulling or pushing on the running block while resisting motion of the running block by pulling or pushing on the free end of the runner.
COMPRESSION LEGGINGS WITH ATTACHED RESISTANCE BANDS
Compression and moisture wicking leggings include attached resistance bands on a single leg. The resistance band is stretched and wrapped around the second leg for a resistance-based workout. The leggings also include pockets for inserting weights for an increased intensity workout.
SACROILIAC JOINT EXERCISE ASSISTANCE DEVICE IN LATERAL DECUBITUS POSITION
An exercise assist device transitively moves a sacroiliac joint in a lateral decubitus position. The following description is provided in the context of a left lateral decubitus position. The upper right leg is placed on a stand in the lateral decubitus position, and the upper right leg is then extended transitively backward with a sacral area supported by a sacrum support pad. Since a posterior side of a lower left sacroiliac joint is slightly opened, a sacrum slides backward via a right hip joint. This improves mobility of the lower left sacroiliac joint.
