EXERCISE MACHINE AND METHODS OF USE FOR STRENGTHENING THE LUMBOPELVIC COMPLEX
An exercise machine is used to train the low back core musculature and lumbopelvic complex. The exercise machine can also be used to provide stability to the lumbar spinal column. The exercise machine includes a stationary bench substantially parallel to the floor and a rotating bench that is capable of rotating at an angle α about an axis, wherein the axis is located between the stationary bench and the rotating bench. A resistance means is used to adjust the amount of force required to move a resistance bar away from the rotating bench, while performing at least one of: a plank, a side plank, a bird-dog, a superman, a lumbar extension, a glute bridge, a single leg raise, a dual-leg raise, a bent leg raise, or a resisted push-up.
PHYSICAL FITNESS HAND GRIP FOR DYNAMIC RESISTANCE EXERCISES
A fitness tool is described. The tool includes a grip component and a handle component. The handle component includes sensors and the grip component includes an electronics unit. The electronics unit includes a fitness application. The fitness application receives a signal from a button located on the grip component to signal that the user is performing an exercise. The fitness application also receives a measurement of force applied to the handle component from the sensors. The fitness application processes the signal and the measurement of force and then transmits the signal, the measurement of force, and other exercise metrics to a computing device. The user interacts with another application on the computing device to view, track, and modify these exercise metrics.
PORTABLE EXERCISE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
An exercise apparatus that a user can readily assemble and disassemble includes an elongated body and two inserts. The inserts can be stored within the elongated body or can be deployed in openings in the side of the body, and in that position, the inserts operate as legs for the body. The exercise apparatus can serve as a handle for pushups. The exercise apparatus can operate independently or with a slide pad to allow the user to use sliding push-ups. When the inserts are removed, the body can serve as a handle for straps for use with suspension exercises.
Strength Exercise Mechanisms
A treadmill includes a frame, an exercise deck attached to the frame, and a first handle movably attached to the frame. The first handle has a first orientation where the first handle is positioned within a region above the exercise deck and stabilized to support a user's weight during a body weight exercise, and a second orientation where the first handle is positioned away from the region above the exercise deck.
Strength Exercise Mechanisms
A treadmill including a frame, an exercise deck attached to the frame, and a first push-up handle attached to the frame and elevated over the exercise deck.
Unsupported pelvic / spine, third class lever exercise system and method
The invention is embodied in an exercise system that can allow its user to counterbalance the effects associated with a predominantly sedentary lifestyle though a fitness device that comprises a combination of (a) supporting the lower body in a manner that permits a user's upper body to act as a third class lever with the user's hips operating as fulcrum and (b) engaging in resistance exercises with the upper body in a horizontal position, unsupported above the greater trochanter.
EXERCISE BAR
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides an exercise bar. The bar includes: a first end support; a second end support; a first handle support; and a second handle support. The second end support is spaced apart from the first end support in a first direction. The first handle support is located between the first end support and the second end support in the first direction. The second handle support is spaced apart from the first handle support in a second direction different from the first direction. The second handle support is located between the first end support and the second end support in the first direction. Each of the first handle support and the second handle support is configured to receive at least one of a plurality of adjustable handles.
EXERCISE DEVICE AND METHODS
Disclosed is an exercise device having a platform and a roller. The platform has a surface sized and shaped to support a body part of a user and a pair of handles. The roller is coupled to the platform and configured to rotate relative to the platform. The platform is configured to translate in a first direction when the roller rotates in a first direction of rotation and translate in a second direction when the roller rotates in a second direction of rotation.
SIT UP PUSH UP DEVICE
An exercise device that is specifically configured for use by persons having diabetic neuropathy or other foot pain issues is described. The exercise device comprises footrests for the left and right feet of the user that elevate the feet and support them in the ankle region to assist in the performance of exercises that may otherwise be too painful for the user to perform.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL EXERCISE DEVICE
A multi-functional exercise device that enables a user to exercise different muscle groups. The exercise device has a handle and two surface-engaging members connected to the handle, allowing for multiple orientations for use.
