Board game system, non-transitory computer readable medium, game piece, and game piece set
The present invention provides a board game system in which an electrostatic-capacitance-based touchscreen that is capable of detecting a plurality of touched positions by detecting changes in electrostatic capacitance is used as a board. The board game system includes an electronic device equipped with the touchscreen; and game pieces that are used while being placed on the touchscreen and that are constituted at least partially of a conductive section. The conductive section is laid out so as to be intervened by a non-conductive section or gaps on the contact face. In the case where the game piece is placed on the touchscreen, the conductive section causes the predetermined or greater amount of change in the electrostatic capacitance at the contact positions of the conductive section on the contact face in the case where the conductive section is touched by the user. The electronic device recognizes the game piece.
Building and demolition game apparatus and control method thereof
A building and demolition game apparatus includes a base, a plurality of rectangular block elements, a monitoring unit, a game control unit and a force generating unit. The base has an assembly platform located on an upside of the base. The rectangular block elements layered to form a tower, which is stood on the assembly platform. The tower has upper and lower layers held by frictional coupling between the layers. The tower height increases during game play by removing block elements from one or more lower layers to build up successive upper layers upon the assembly platform. The monitoring unit is disposed in the base to obtain at least two boundary conditions by continuously monitoring. The game control unit is disposed in the base to generate a control signal according to a predetermined threshold and the at least two boundary conditions. The force generating unit is disposed in the base and under the assembly platform. The force generating unit is applying a force forward to the assembly platform according to the control signal generated by the game control unit.
Ball launcher and a ball gaming system including such ball launcher
The present invention generally relates to a ball gaming system such as a roulette wheel apparatus, and in particular to a ball launcher for use in a gaming system such as a roulette wheel apparatus and to a gaming system such as a roulette wheel apparatus comprising the ball launcher, wherein the ball launcher includes a ball shuttle for transporting a ball from at least one ball-receiving station to at least one launch tube. According to the present invention, said ball shuttle is configured to move to a reject-ball station in response to a reject-ball signal to transport any old and/or defective ball to said reject-ball station instead of said at least one launch tube.
SMART CUBE AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
Disclosed are a smart cube including a core housing having an accommodation space therein, a plurality of blocks having a surface formed therein to correspond to an outer circumference of the core housing and coupled to each other to be rotatable in a group around the core housing, and a controller configured to recognize a position of at least one of the blocks and to calculate a solution to place blocks having the same outer surface on at least one surface of the cube, wherein the block includes types of shaft blocks coupled to a center of each of top, bottom, front, rear, left, and right surfaces of the core housing, edge blocks in contact with each side surface of the shaft block, and corner blocks interposed between the adjacent edge blocks, the controller recognizes a position of at least one of the blocks based on a rotation direction and a rotation amount of the shaft block, and the plurality of blocks visually outputs a next step of a current step of the solution including a plurality of steps.
Self-capacitance device for object recognition on capacitance touchscreen
Disclosed herein are various embodiments of a self-capacitance device that is configured to be detectable by a known touchscreen without the need for human contact. Such a device has a device body, a capacitance structure disposed within the body, and at least three contacts disposed on one side of the body and electrically coupled to the capacitance structure. Further disclosed herein are systems having at least two such self-capacitance devices and a software application configured to recognize each of the at least two self-capacitance devices.
Method for card and lot selection based on measurements of movement, biometrics, or environmental data
The present invention provides a method for selecting a card, lot, or number using a shuffling process that relies on measurements of movement, biometrics, or environmental data within interactive electronic media. The invention provides an alternative to random number generators for media which relies on random selection outputs such as divination tools or a game of chance. The incorporation of a user's movement or environmental data into the selection process provides an element of interest and amusement. The present invention also provides for a selection method that reliably generates a unique selection upon each use by utilizing precise measurements and mathematical formulas to catalogue and shuffle the cards or lots in a system.
DRONE-PASSING MULTIPLE DETECTION SENSOR GATE AND DRONE GAME SYSTEM USING SAME
The present invention provides a drone-passing multiple detection sensor gate comprising: a gate having a ring-like structure through which a drone can pass during flight; a first sensor, disposed on the front or the inner front of the gate, for detecting whether the drone approaches the gate or passes through the front side of the gate; a second sensor, disposed on the inner rear of the gate, for detecting whether the drone sensed by the first sensor passes through the rear side of the gate; a detection signal transmitter, disposed inside or on a surface of the gate, for receiving, from the first sensor and the second sensor, the detection signal indicating whether the drone approaches or passes through the gate, and wirelessly transmitting the detection signal. In addition, the present invention provides a drone game system using a multiple detection sensor gate.
Educational Toy Having Multiple Drawers
An educational toy and systems, methods, and components thereof can include a body, a plurality of drawers at a front side of the body, and a plurality of puzzle pieces. The drawers can be vertically aligned with each other. Each of the drawers can be movable between a fully open position and a fully closed position. Each drawer can include: a puzzle surface having a set of receptacles to receive a predefined set of the plurality of puzzle pieces, and a handle extending from a front face of the drawer.
