Method and Apparatus for Controlling Virtual Camera in Game
A method and apparatus for controlling a virtual camera in a game are disclosed. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, a virtual camera is controlled to shift in response to a first touch operation for a visual field control area, the virtual camera is controlled, in response to the ending of the first touch operation, to return from a second position to a first position, a game operation instruction is received during the returning process, and a corresponding action is performed in response to the game operation instruction.
METHOD, APPARATUS, DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM FOR PERSPECTIVE ROTATION
This application discloses a method for perspective rotation in a virtual environment performed at a terminal. The method includes: displaying a first perspective image of an application program associated with the virtual environment, a first function control and a second function control being overlaid on the first perspective image; receiving a first perspective rotation operation triggered based on the first function control; enabling a first function and a perspective rotation function of the first function control, and switching the first perspective image to a second perspective image; receiving a second perspective rotation operation triggered based on the second function control while the first function control is in an enabled state; and disabling the perspective rotation function of the first function control, enabling a second function and a perspective rotation function of the second function control, and switching the second perspective image to a third perspective image.
Virtual reality
A virtual reality apparatus includes a head mountable display (HMD) to display video content; an orientation detector to detect a current orientation of the HMD; and a display generator to generate video content for display by the HMD, the video content representing a portion of a virtual environment, the display generator selecting the portion for display by the HMD in dependence upon: a current orientation of the HMD; and a location within the virtual environment of a feature of interest.
Position-dependent gaming, 3-D controller, and handheld as a remote
Methods and systems for using a position of a mobile device with an integrated display as an input to a video game or other presentation are presented. Embodiments include rendering an avatar on a mobile device such that it appears to overlay a competing user in the real world. Using the mobile device's position, view direction, and the other user's mobile device position, an avatar (or vehicle, etc.) is depicted at an apparently inertially stabilized location of the other user's mobile device or body. Some embodiments may estimate the other user's head and body positions and angles and reflect them in the avatar's gestures.
Storage medium, game system, game apparatus and game controlling method
A non-limiting example game system comprises a main body apparatus, and a left controller and a right controller are attachably and detachably attached to the main body apparatus. Each of the left controller and the right controller is provided with a plurality of operation buttons, an analog stick and a vibrator. A player character is provided with a radar object, and a rod-like determination object having one end that is located at a center of the character object is rotated within a plane parallel to a horizontal plane in a virtual space. When the determination object touches an enemy character, the vibrator of the left controller or/and the right controller is caused to vibrate.
CALIBRATION TO BE USED IN AN AUGMENTED REALITY METHOD AND SYSTEM
A calibration for an AR gaming system or method so that players equipped with AR capable devices such as handheld devices can join in an augmented reality game in an area such as a lobby of premises such as a cinema, shopping mall, museum, airport hall, hotel hall, attraction park, etc. The lobby L is equipped with digital Visual equipment and optionally Audio equipment connected to a digital signage network, In particular, the lobby L is populated with one or more display devices, such as fixed format displays, for instance LC displays, tiled LC displays, LED displays, plasma displays or projector displays, displaying either monoscopic 2D or stereoscopic 3D content. These displays are used to allow onlookers to see through a window onto the virtual world of the AR game.
Storage medium, game system, game apparatus and game controlling method
A non-limiting example game system comprises a processor incorporated in a main body apparatus, and the processor displays, in a battle scene, a battle screen including a player character, an enemy character and a board face object on a display. The board face object having a circular board face that is formed with multiple partial objects that are sectioned by multiple concentric circles and multiple lines extended radially. A player makes the multiple partial objects move in a circumferential direction or a radial direction so as to change arrangement of multiple enemy characters placed on the multiple partial objects, thereby causing the player character to perform an attack.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING VIEWING ANGLE IN VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT, AND READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
This disclosure discloses a method and an apparatus for adjusting a viewing angle in a virtual environment. The method includes: displaying a first viewing angle picture, the first viewing angle picture including a virtual object having a first orientation; receiving a drag instruction for a viewing angle adjustment control; adjusting the first viewing angle direction according to the drag instruction, to obtain a second viewing angle direction; and displaying a second viewing angle picture, the second viewing angle picture including the virtual object having the first orientation.
