Coffee brewing system with features for rapid and/or multiple extraction processes
Coffee makers with features for rapid and/or multiple extraction processes, and associated systems and methods, are shown. A representative method for brewing coffee includes placing ground coffee on a filter element of a brew chamber, directing heated water into the brew chamber and in contact with the ground coffee and, during a first phase, brewing coffee in the brew chamber without subjecting the coffee to a pressure differential of at least 150 torr between the brew chamber and a coffee chamber to which the brew chamber is coupled, the coffee chamber having a capacity of 200 mL or more. The representative method further includes, during a second phase, extracting the coffee from the brew chamber through the filter element and into the coffee chamber via a pressure differential of at least 150 torr between the brew chamber and the coffee chamber.
COFFEE MACHINE DRIP TRAY WITH INTEGRATED STORAGE
A beverage preparation appliance includes a housing having a base defining a cavity having an open side and a dispensing portion supported on the base and defining a beverage outlet location suspended above the base. The appliance further includes a drip tray body defining a perimeter side wall and an interior wall separating an interior of the tray body within the perimeter side wall into a reservoir area and a storage area. The drip tray body is partially received within the cavity of the base through the open side thereof with the storage area positioned within the cavity and at least a portion of the reservoir area being positioned outside the cavity underlying the beverage outlet location.
COFFEE MACHINE WITH AUTOMATIC LOCKING OF THE FILTER-HOLDER
A coffee machine has a supporting body that delivers hot water for producing a beverage. A filter-holder can be filled with a brewing material and is releasably coupleable to the supporting body to receive hot water therefrom for brewing the brewing material to produce the beverage. A coupling device includes a first coupling part mounted on the supporting body and a second coupling part carried by the filter-holder. The coupling device is configured to allow the filter-holder to assume a tightening configuration by a relative rotation of the first coupling part and the second coupling part. An automation device is configured to cause relative rotation of the first coupling part and the second coupling part. A user interface is configured to to tight-couple and uncouple and/or a beverage delivery to start and stop in response to sensed actions or forces.
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for brewing a beverage
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for brewing a desired portion of a beverage, such as a single-cup portion of coffee, are provided. The system can include one or more hopper assemblies configured to provide a controlled dose of beverage material to a brew chamber. The system can also include a water input system configured to wet the ground beverage material as the grinds enter the brew chamber and substantially prevent steam from reaching grinder components of the system. Further, the system can include an automatic cleaning mechanism such that a user does not need to manually clean components of a brewing machine between brew cycles.
Espresso machine with Americano feature
An espresso machine is constructed and programmed to have secondary water system. The secondary water supply works in conjunction with the coffee brewing mechanisms of the device to produce and Americano style coffee beverage. The size and strength of the resulting beverage may be pre-set, or user programmable.
Rapid and/or multiple extraction brewing processes
Coffee makers with features for rapid and/or multiple extraction processes, and associated systems and methods, are included.
Hybrid receptacle beverage brewing system
A system for preparing a brewed beverage from at least one flavorant includes a housing, a receptacle connectable to the housing for holding the at least one flavorant and a reservoir connectable to the housing. The receptacle including a first fluid inlet and a second fluid inlet and a first fluid flow path fluidly connects the reservoir to the first fluid inlet and a second fluid flow path fluidly connects the reservoir to the second fluid inlet.
COFFEE MACHINE
This invention provides a coffee machine having an externally fitted coffee vessel for receiving freshly ground coffee. A closing and/or tamping system is provided for closing the coffee vessel and/or compacting the ground coffee in the coffee vessel by providing a relative movement between the closing and/or tamping system, and the coffee vessel. The coffee vessel has a water entry port extending through a side wall for delivering heated water to the internal volume of the coffee vessel.
Drip coffee machine compatible with coffee capsules
The present application relates to the technical field of coffee machines, and discloses a drip coffee machine compatible with coffee capsules, which comprises a machine body and a machine cover, wherein a bracket assembly is arranged between the machine body and the machine cover, the bracket assembly comprises a first bracket and a second bracket; the first bracket is formed with a first cavity for placing coffee powder; the second bracket is formed with a second cavity for placing coffee capsules or coffee powder; the first cavity is communicated with the second cavity; the second bracket is placed above the first bracket; a first key mechanism and a second key mechanism are arranged between the machine body and the machine cover, wherein the first key mechanism is used for locking/releasing the machine cover, and the second key mechanism is used for locking/releasing the second bracket.
