Dental Appliance Camera Device
A dental appliance camera device is provided. The device is comprised of a multifunctional dental device comprising a body and an appliance head, wherein the appliance head may be a toothbrush or water sprayer head. The body attaches to the appliance head and may feature articulation points allowing movement in multiple directions. The body is also comprised of a camera and a wireless transmitter for streaming photos and video to a mobile application. As a result, the device allows users and/or dental professionals to view and record the conditions inside the mouth during teeth brushing and/or flossing, facilitating better dental health management.
Using an intraoral mirror with an integrated camera to record immersive dental status, and applications thereof
Disclosed embodiments integrate a camera into an intraoral mirror. Integrating a camera into an intraoral mirror provides an efficient way to record and display what is visible to the healthcare provider in the mirror.
OPTOELECTRONIC MODULE AND AN IMAGING APPARATUS COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention provides an optoelectronic module and an imaging apparatus such as an endoscope comprising such module. The optoelectronic module includes a housing and an image sensor. The image sensor's face has a perimeter S, the cross section of the optoelectronic module along the face has a perimeter H, and S<H<1.6S. In an example, illumination components such as a flashing LED and the image sensor are confined within the minimum bounding circle of the sensor's face. The invention exhibits technical advantage in minimizing the size of the insert portion of the endoscopy.
Host, optical lens module and digital diagnostic system including the same
A digital diagnostic system with interchangeable lenses includes a host and at least one optical lens module, wherein the host without any optical lens having curved surface includes a focus adjustment module which drives an image capture module to linearly move. Therefore, the optical system of the optical lens module can be designed independently, and no need to include focus adjustment mechanism, so that the optical design of the optical lens module can be greatly simplified, and the system allows a greater mechanism tolerance, thereby reducing manufacturing difficulty and manufacturing cost.
Handheld endoscope
A handheld endoscope has a disposable, single-use portion that includes a fluid hub, cannula and distal tip and a re-usable portion that includes a handle and display module. The electrical connection between the single-use and reusable portions is distally spaced from their mechanical connection and from the fluid hub. The distal tip includes LED illumination and an imaging module that feeds live video to the display module that is rotatable to allow viewing by the operator and others. The cannula and fluid hub are rotatable relative to the handle and includes separate lumens for fluid flow and an electrical cable. The fit resists rotation to maintain the relative positions of the cannula and handle until the application of a torque threshold. The single-use and re-usable portions mate and un-mate with each other via the physically separated mechanical and electrical connectors. Extruded cannula and molded distal tip parts can be separately formed which aids in manufacturing and assembly.
Medical apparatus system
A medical apparatus system includes a first communication section provided in a medical apparatus and configured to transmit battery use information including information concerning a residual capacity of a first battery, a charger including a power supply section configured to charge a second battery, and a control section configured to set a charging current of the power supply section on the basis of the battery use information and battery charging information including a residual capacity of the second battery such that a capacity insufficiency residual time, which is time until the residual capacity of the first battery changes to a state of residual capacity insufficiency, is equal to or longer than a charging completion residual time, which is time until the second battery changes to a completely charged state.
Electrical device power management
An electrical device includes a memory storing a value indicative the remaining available rated capacity of one or more batteries. The stored value is changed in use to reflect reducing capacity. The initial stored value is chosen so that there is a very high (e.g. >99.9%) confidence that the one or more batteries will provide at least the capacity indicated by the initial stored value. This reduces the chance of failure during emergency procedures. The one or more batteries may be integral to the electrical device. An override facility is provided.
Using an intraoral mirror as a camera viewfinder, and applications thereof
Disclosed embodiments integrate a camera into an intraoral mirror. Integrating a camera into an intraoral mirror provides an efficient way to record and display what is visible to the healthcare provider in the mirror.
Device pairing for distributed intraoral scanning system
A first computing device receives a command to associate the first computing device with an intraoral scanner, the command comprising an identifier. The first computing device wirelessly connects with a second computing device, and sends the identifier to the second computing device. The second computing device wirelessly connects to the intraoral scanner and associates the first computing device with the intraoral scanner. Subsequently, intraoral scan data generated by the first intraoral scanner is sent to the second computing device, the intraoral scan data is processed by the second computing device to generate a three-dimensional surface of a dental site, the three-dimensional surface or a view of the three-dimensional surface of the dental site is sent to the first computing device, and the three-dimensional surface or the view of the three-dimensional surface of the dental site is displayed by the first computing device.
Wireless charging system for medical devices
A wireless charging system for recharging batteries in a medical environment includes a charging station. The charging station may include an opening to receive batteries and an outlet for dispensing charged batteries, wherein the outlet comprises a slot in a front cover. The charging station also includes a wireless power transmitter having a transmitting antenna.
