Absorbent articles with channels and signals
Absorbent articles herein may provide a topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core may comprise at least one channel having a shape. The backsheet graphics may substantially match the shape.
Absorbent articles having channel-forming areas and wetness indicator
An absorbent article comprising an absorbent core having at least two longitudinally extending channel-forming areas and a wetness indicator. The core wrap comprises a top side and a bottom side, which are attached to each other through areas substantially free of absorbent material, so that when the absorbent material swells upon absorption of a liquid the core wrap forms channels along these areas substantially free of absorbent material.
Apparatus and method for forming an absorbent pad
A method for forming an absorbent pad including a first layer, a second layer and an absorbent material interposed between the first and the second layer and arranged according to a spreading pattern M1 having at least one channel which is free of absorbent material, includes a step of feeding a first web, intended to form the first layer of the pad; a step of feeding a second web, intended to form the second layer of the pad; a step of spreading the absorbent material on the first web according to the spreading pattern M1; a step of joining the first and second webs, a step of removing any absorbent material that may be present in the channel.
Absorbent article
An absorbent article comprising a polymer sheet 4 in which a super absorbent polymer 12 exists between an upper layer sheet 10 arranged on the skin side and a lower layer sheet 11 arranged on the non-skin side is included. A fiber absorber 5 including pulp fiber is disposed adjacent to the surface on the skin side of an area corresponding to a body fluid discharge region H of a wearer in the polymer sheet 4. The super absorbent polymer 12 is not arranged in an area which overlaps with the fiber absorber 5, and is arranged in the other area. The water absorption rate of the absorbent article is not reduced even when water is repeatedly absorbed. Additionally, leakage is prevented, a wearing feeling is not worsened, and the adsorbent article may have a reduction in thickness.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH IMPROVED CORE AND METHOD OF MAKING
An absorbent article comprising: a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned between said topsheet and backsheet, wherein the absorbent core comprises an absorbent material, said absorbent material comprising cellulose fibers and/or superabsorbent polymers, and wherein said absorbent material is contained within at least one core wrap substrate enclosing said absorbent material therein, wherein the absorbent core further comprises an intermediate layer positioned between a top layer of said core wrap and a bottom layer of said core wrap such that said absorbent material is disposed between said top layer and said intermediate layer and between said bottom layer and said intermediate layer.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH IMPROVED CORE AND METHOD OF MAKING

Absorbent structure with permanent and temporary attachments
The present invention relates to an absorbent structure, preferably for use in absorbent products, such as used in the food, consumer, household, building and construction, beauty and medical industry, and as used in the personal hygiene industry. The substantially cellulose free absorbent structures continuously immobilise absorbent polymer material via initial smaller pockets and subsequently larger compartments allowing excellent fluid management of the absorbent polymer material in dry, partially and fully liquid loaded state. Preferably such absorbent structure volume increases are result of temporary secondary attachment patterns made in combination with substantially permanent primary attachment grids allowing the release of bigger volumes from the initial smaller volumes by detachment of the secondary attachments. Furthermore the absorbent structure according to an embodiment of the invention non-homogeneously swells to form a liquid-managing surface structure as a result of exposing the absorbent structure to liquid. The present invention foresees in the need for improved flexible, thin, lightweight absorbent structures which overcome the absorbency problems of the prior art during absorption, distribution and retention of liquids with optimal fit.
ABSORBENT CORE COMPRISING A HIGH LOFT CENTRAL LAYER AND CHANNELS
An absorbent core for use in an absorbent article, the absorbent core extending in a transversal direction and a longitudinal direction. The absorbent core includes a fluid-permeable top layer, a bottom layer, and a central layer between the top layer and the bottom layer. The central layer may be a high loft fibrous nonwoven layer, in particular having a density of less than about 0.200 g/cc, measured at a pressure of 4.14 kPa. Superabsorbent polymer particles may be blended with the fibers of the central layer, except for one or more longitudinally-extending channels substantially free of superabsorbent polymer particles.
MULTIPLE ACCESS IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A wireless device is configured to select, from among different supported non-orthogonal multiple-access schemes, a non-orthogonal multiple-access scheme with which to perform uplink transmission. The wireless device is configured to perform this selection based on one or more selection criteria that reflect an uplink synchronization accuracy of the wireless device. The wireless device is configured to then perform uplink transmission with the selected non-orthogonal multiple-access scheme.
ABSORBENT CORES HAVING MATERIAL FREE AREAS
An absorbent core, for use in an absorbent article, including a core wrap enclosing an absorbent material and including superabsorbent polymer particles. The core wrap includes a top side and a bottom side, and the absorbent core includes one or more area(s) substantially free of absorbent material through which the top side of the core wrap is attached to the bottom side of the core wrap, so that when the absorbent material swells the core wrap forms one or more channel(s) along the area(s) substantially free of absorbent material. The superabsorbent polymer particles have a time to reach an uptake of 20 g/g (T20) of less than 240 s as measured according to the K(t) test method.
