A draper head (2) for attachment to a harvesting machine (4) is provided. In order to be able to effortlessly equip the draper head (2) with an active fan, with which grains and ears of corn are blown in the direction of the belt conveyor device (12) in the region of the blade bar (8), a retrofitting interface (18) is provided, at which either a closed cover profile sheet (26) or an angle profile sheet (50) that is provided with air outlet openings (52) can be installed in the installation space (20).

Device comprising a motorized conveyor for conveying a flow of harvested crop based on device inclination

A device including at least one motorized conveyor for conveying a flow of harvested crop between an upstream end and a downstream end of the conveyor along a longitudinal direction. The device further including at least one sensor that monitors a longitudinal inclination of the device relative to a nominal orientation of the device. The device computes a conveyor speed based on the monitored longitudinal inclination, the conveyor speed being adapted to maintain conveying kinematics of the harvested crop independent from the longitudinal inclination; and the device operates the motorized conveyor at the computed conveyor speed.

Harvester header stripper devices

A harvester header including a plurality of stripper devices for separating a corn ear or a seed head from a stalk. Each stripper device comprises a left deck plate, a right deck plate, a stalk puller, and at least two crop conveyors. The stalk puller is adapted to separate the corn ear or seed head from the stalk when the corn ear or seed head engages the left and right deck plates. Each of the crop conveyors of each stripper device is arranged between two adjacent stripper devices. The crop conveyors comprise a movable closed transport surface for conveying the separated corn ears or seed heads by moving the closed transport surface in a direction of conveyance which is parallel to the closed transport surface. The transport surfaces of the crop conveyors are arranged at a level below blocking surfaces of the deck plates adjacent to the crop conveyors.

Draper canvas seal

A crop harvesting header with a cutter bar and a draper assembly has a draper which includes a front edge of the upper run of the draper arranged at a position adjacent to but spaced from the cutter bar and there is provided a sealing member extending along the cutter bar. The sealing member is includes a bracket and a strip of flexible material where the bracket does not include any rearwardly extending biasing portion and the strip, when free from loading forces, contains a distortion from a flat form so that the second edge portion is distorted from a plane of the first edge portion in a direction toward the edge portion of the upper run.

DUAL BELT CONVEYOR FOR AGRICULTURAL MACHINE

A dual conveyor assembly for a windrower includes upper and lower conveyors. Each conveyor includes an endless conveyor element and rotatable supports spaced along a longitudinal conveyor path and entrained by the endless conveyor element. The endless conveyor elements define vertically spaced opposed runs that define the longitudinal conveyor path therebetween. The opposed runs are operable to be driven together to move a flow of severed plant material along the path. At least one of the opposed runs is shiftable relative to the other opposed run in an upright direction, while the runs are driven together, such that the opposed runs remain in moving engagement with the flow of severed plant material as the amount of severed plant material passing between the opposed runs varies.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING AN AGRICULTURAL BELT
20170359953 · 2017-12-21 ·

A belt monitoring system for an agricultural belt arrangement, the monitoring system including an agricultural belt having a magnetic element embedded therein and a sensor. The agricultural belt arrangement defines a proper belt alignment for the belt and moves the belt. The magnetic element is polarized so as to output a magnetic signal. The sensor is configured to detect, at a reference position, the magnetic signal outputted by the magnetic element. The monitoring system further includes a circuit configured to output a signal if, for example, the agricultural belt moves more than a predetermined amount through the agricultural belt arrangement without the sensor arrangement detecting the magnetic signal outputted by the magnetic element, a predetermined amount of time passes without the sensor detecting the magnetic signal, and the circuit determines the position of the magnetic element to be outside of a permissible positional range.

PICKUP BELT HEADER FINGER GUIDE RAMP

Pickup belt headers may include a ramp disposed in a gap formed between a first endless belt of a pickup belt assembly and a second endless belt of a transfer belt assembly. Fingers may be provided on the first endless belt, and the fingers may be deflected, such as by pivoting or bending, in response to engagement between the fingers and the ramp to avoid contact between the fingers and the second endless belt.
