The second protruding element has two protrusions extending from the tubular body away from the axis. The two protrusions are arranged on opposite sides of the slit in the circumferential direction. The cap body has a tubular body extending in the axial direction with a slit extending in the axial direction and having a tapered portion that tapers towards the distal end.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A medicament delivery device is presented having a tubular housing comprising a distal end and a proximal end; a medicament container arranged with a medicament delivery member and placed in the housing, a cap removably arranged on the proximal end of the housing and configured to cover the delivery member; a drive mechanism configured to act on the medicament container to expel the medicament through the medicament delivery member upon the drive mechanism is triggered; an activation member arranged coaxially movable in relation to the housing, associated with the drive mechanism and comprising a proximal tubular portion which extends from the proximal end of the housing and wherein for triggering the drive mechanism the activation member is axially moved towards the distal end of the housing after removing the cap from the housing. The proximal tubular portion of the activation member has a resilient element arranged with friction.
EMERGENCY AUTOMATIC INJECTION DEVICE
An automatic injection device for use with a syringe including at least one syringe piston and a needle coupled to a forward end thereof, comprising a housing element arranged along a longitudinal axis and having a forward end and a rearward end; at least one resilient element arranged to be located within the housing element; a needle shield selectably positionable with respect to the housing element; and a control unit adapted, when actuated, to be driven by the at least one resilient element for initially displacing the syringe relative to the housing element from a non-penetration position to a penetration position and thereafter displacing the at least one syringe piston in the syringe to effect drug delivery, and wherein the control unit is configured to be actuated upon axial rearward displacement of the needle shield with respect to the housing element.
Auto-injectors for administration of a medicament within a prefilled syringe
An apparatus includes a housing, a carrier, and an expandable assembly. The housing defines an opening configured to selectively place a gas chamber of the housing in fluid communication with an exterior volume. The carrier is movably disposed within the housing and is coupled to a medicament container. A proximal surface of the carrier defines a portion of a boundary of the gas chamber. The expandable assembly has a first member and a second member. The first member is coupled to an elastomeric member disposed within the medicament container, and the second member includes a valve portion. The expandable assembly transitions from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration when the elastomeric member moves within the medicament container. The valve portion moves relative to the opening when the expandable assembly transitions from the first to the second configuration, placing the gas chamber in fluid communication with the exterior volume.
Disposable injection needle
The present disclosure relates to a disposable injection needle including: a needle mount having a tube needle; a first sleeve, one end of which is suitable for connecting to the needle mount to define receiving space, and the other end of which is provided with a first opening; a second sleeve, one end of which is located inside the receiving space, and the other end of which having a second opening; an elastic element adapted to allow the second sleeve moves axially toward outside the receiving space, wherein: the needle mount or the first sleeve is provided with a stop surface and a limit groove; the second sleeve is provided with a limit arm comprising a limit face and a protruding member which is adapted to enter the limit groove with axial relative movement between the first sleeve and the second sleeve.
COMBINED BIOLOGICAL SAMPLING AND INJECTION ASSEMBLIES AND ASSOCIATED DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A sampling device includes a container having a body defining a chamber and an opening to the chamber. A septum is bonded to the container to cover the opening and hermetically seal the chamber. The septum has an adherent layer with a first thickness and including a material configured to adhere to a rim of the container to provide a hermetic seal with the container. A metallic foil layer having a second thickness is coupled to the adherent layer. An elastomeric layer having a third thickness is coupled to the metallic foil layer to position the metallic foil layer between the adherent layer and the elastomeric layer. The third thickness is greater than the sum of the first thickness and the second thickness.
Liquid injection device and assembly including same
A liquid injection device includes: a syringe that comprises a barrel part configured to be filled with a liquid, and a needle attached to a distal portion of the barrel part and configured to discharge the liquid, a cap that covers the needle; a housing that covers at least a base end part of the syringe; and a step part that is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the cap or between the housing and the cap, the step part protruding farther outward than a side surface of the barrel part. The step part is configured to engage with a lower surface of a notch part that extends laterally inward from an outer edge of a flange part of a container such that the cap is removable from the housing by the notch part.
Devices, systems and methods for medicament delivery
A method includes moving an actuation lock of a medical injector from a first position to a second position. The actuation lock has an extended portion disposed between a shoulder of a housing and the base when the actuation lock is in the first position. The extended portion is spaced apart from the base when the actuation lock is in the second position. A distal end portion of a base, which is movably coupled to an end portion of the housing, is placed into contact with a body. The base is actuated after the placing to release an energy from an energy storage member within the housing to produce a force to move a needle from a first needle position to a second needle position. At least a portion of the needle extends through the base when the needle is in the second needle position.
