DEVICE AND METHODS FOR DELIVERY OF BIPHASIC ELECTRICAL PULSES FOR NON-THERMAL ABLATION
The present invention provides systems, methods, and devices for electroporation-based therapies (EBTs). Embodiments provide patient-specific treatment protocols derived by the numerical modeling of 3D reconstructions of target tissue from images taken of the tissue, and optionally accounting for one or more of physical constraints or dynamic tissue properties. The present invention further relates to systems, methods, and devices for delivering bipolar electric pulses for irreversible electroporation exhibiting reduced or no damage to tissue typically associated with an EBT-induced excessive charge delivered to the tissue.
Microelectrode and multiple microelectrodes
A medical microelectrode includes an elongate electrode body including a tip section, a main body section and, optionally, a coupling section. The tip section, the main body section and, optionally, the coupling section are embedded in a first electrode matrix element, which is substantially rigid, biocompatible and soluble or biodegradable in a body fluid. Additionally the microelectrode includes a dissolution retarding layer on the first electrode matrix element and/or a second electrode matrix element disposed between the first electrode matrix element and the electrode. Upon dissolution or biodegradation of the first electrode matrix element a drug comprised by the first electrode matrix element or the second electrode matrix element is released into the tissue. Also disclosed are bundles and arrays of the electrodes and their use.
BIOLOGICAL SAMPLE EXTRACTION AND DETECTION SYSTEM

The device includes a receptacle for transmucosal-extraction, and is further configured to interface plurality of customizable function/s and application/s. The functions includes auxiliary body wearables, other medical devices, biologic and blood component detection, analysis, data collections, communication network, diagnostics for enhanced therapeutics and athletic performance. A part or entire device can also be configured to be inserted into a reader, which is external to the oral cavity. The reader is either smart or connected to a smart device such as smart phone, and is configured to contain one or more sensors. The invention provides innovative information systems, and methods involving the aforedescribed devices, information available from blood, interstitial-fluids, biologics using transmucosal-extraction-sensor devices in the oral cavity and auxiliary devices.

The control system comprises a control console configured to receive a first user input, and also comprises a control unit in signal communication with the control console and the robotic tool. The secondary control module is configured to receive a second user input, and is in signal communication with the control system.
AUTOMATIC TOOL ADJUSTMENTS FOR ROBOT-ASSISTED SURGICAL PLATFORMS
Various robotic surgical systems are disclosed. A robotic surgical system comprises a control unit; a robot comprising a tool mount; a tool comprising an energy delivery surface, wherein the tool is releasably mounted to the tool mount; and a sensor system configured to detect at least one condition at a surgical site. The control unit comprises a processor and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The sensor system is in signal communication with the processor. The memory stores instructions executable by the processor to determine a use of the tool based on input from the sensor system and to automatically energize the energy delivery surface when the use is determined.
COOPERATIVE SURGICAL ACTIONS FOR ROBOT-ASSISTED SURGICAL PLATFORMS
Various robotic surgical systems are disclosed. A robotic surgical system comprises: a first robotic arm comprising a first force sensor, a second robotic arm comprising a second force sensor, and a control unit. The control unit comprises a processor and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The memory stores instructions executable by the processor to receive a first input from the first force sensor, to receive a second input from the second force sensor, and to effect cooperative movement of the first robotic arm and the second robotic arm based on the first input from the first force sensor and the second input from the second force sensor in a load control mode.
Method of destroying tissue cells by electroporation
An apparatus and method for performing non-invasive treatment of the human face and body by electroporation in lieu of cosmetic surgery is provided. The apparatus comprises a high voltage pulse generator and an applicator having two or more electrodes in close mechanical and electrical contact with the patient's skin for applying the pulses to the patient's skin. The applicator may consist of two pieces with one electrode having a sharp tip and another having a flat surface. High voltage pulses delivered to the electrodes create at the tip of the sharp electrode an electric field high enough to cause death of relatively large subcutaneous fat cells by electroporation. Moving the electrode tip along the skin creates a line of necrotic subcutaneous fat cells, which later are metabolized by the body. Multiple applications of the electrode along predetermined lines on the face or neck create shrinkage of the skin and the subcutaneous fat volume underlying the treated area.
Device and method for large volume transfection
The invention relates to a device (1) for applying an electric field to a suspension of cells, cell derivatives, organelles, sub-cellular particles and/or vesicles, comprising at least one chamber (6) which comprises at least two electrodes (4), and at least one separating element (13) which is movable within the chamber (6) between two terminal points (14, 15) and, if it is in a position between the terminal points (14, 15), separates at least one first compartment (26) of the chamber (6) from at least one second compartment (27) of the chamber (6). According to the invention each compartment (26, 27) is designed to hold the suspension and comprises at least one port (7, 8, 10, 11) for charging or discharging the suspension, so as to discharge an aliquot of the suspension from the chamber (6) and at the same time charge a further aliquot of the suspension into the chamber (6), wherein the separating element (13) is moved in a second direction opposite to a first direction, and wherein the separating element (13) separates the aliquots from each other.
