Baroreceptor mapping system

A system for mapping and marking baroreceptors of a patient. The system includes a mapping device, a marker, and a stimulator. The mapping device includes a plurality of electrodes to be situated on the patient. The marker is to be attached to the patient and mark a location of at least one of the plurality of electrodes based on an analysis of patient physiological responses to stimulation of the plurality of electrodes. The stimulator is to divide the plurality of electrodes into a first electrode zone and a second electrode zone and stimulate electrodes in the first electrode zone and the second electrode zone to obtain first patient physiological responses, where one of the first electrode zone and the second electrode zone is selected based on the first patient physiological responses.

Electrical stimulation of neural activity in the neural innervation of the spleen that is associated with neurovascular bundles provides a useful way to treat acute medical conditions, such as trauma, hemorrhaging, shock, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), severe respiratory distress syndrome (SARS), and coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19).

HIGH DENSITY EPIDURAL STIMULATION FOR FACILITATION OF LOCOMOTION, POSTURE, VOLUNTARY MOVEMENT, AND RECOVERY OF AUTONOMIC, SEXUAL, VASOMOTOR, AND COGNITIVE FUNCTION AFTER NEUROLOGICAL INJURY

Methods of enabling locomotor control, postural control, voluntary control of body movements (e.g., in non-weight bearing conditions), and/or autonomic functions in a human subject having a spinal cord injury, a brain injury, or a neurological neuromotor disease are described.

Multi-Electrode Array with Unitary Body

An electrode array system includes a unitary body forming a plurality of apertures, and a plurality of continuous conductive elements at least partially encapsulated within the unitary body. The continuous conductive elements include/form a plurality of contacts, a plurality of electrode sites configured to couple with neural tissue (e.g., a spinal nerve or peripheral nerve), and a plurality of interconnects extending between the plurality of contacts and the plurality of electrode sites. The plurality of electrode sites are aligned with the plurality of apertures, and the plurality of apertures expose the plurality of electrodes.

Electrode devices and methods of manufacturing

An extravascular or intravascular neural interface is disclosed containing electrodes for neurostimulation of the vessel. The devices are housed in flexible substrates formed from a multilumen tubing housing conductors for electrodes positioned in a distal serpentine shaped end of the device. The distal serpentine shaped end includes rows or strips of electrodes or coil electrodes.

An electrical stimulation lead includes a cuff having a cuff body having an exterior surface, an interior surface, and a circumference; longitudinal electrodes disposed on the interior surface of the cuff body, where the longitudinal electrodes are divided into at least one set with each set including at least sixteen of the longitudinal electrodes spaced apart from each other in a circumferential arrangement round the circumference of the cuff body; and a longitudinal slit extending through the cuff body and further extending along an entire length of the cuff body. The electrical stimulation lead also includes a lead body coupled to the cuff and conductors extending through the lead body and the cuff with the conductors electrically coupled to the electrodes.

Systems, Devices, Components and Methods for the Delivery of First and Second Electrical Stimulation Signals to Motor and Sensory Peripheral Target Nerves

Disclosed are various examples and embodiments of systems, devices, components and methods configured to rehabilitate or strengthen one or more muscles in a patient, and to reduce pain sensed by the patient, through a unique combination of electrical stimulation signals delivered to one or more target peripheral nerves. Medical electrical lead(s) comprising electrode(s) are positioned adjacent to, in contact with, or in operative positional relationship to, one or more target peripheral nerves of the patient. The target peripheral nerves typically comprise motor and sensory nerves. In one embodiment, first stimulation signals having a first range of frequencies are delivered through the electrode(s) to the target nerves to rehabilitate muscles enervated by the motor nerves. Second stimulation signals having a second range of frequencies are delivered through the electrode(s) to the target nerves to provide pain relief to the patient. The first range of frequencies is lower than the second range of frequencies.
