TOOTH CLEANING DEVICES AND PROCESSES FOR USING SAME
The present invention relates to tooth cleaning devices that are designed for portable, discrete use to improve dental hygiene as well as cosmetic appearance of teeth. For example, discrete cleaning of the teeth after drinking dark-colored beverages in social settings wherein conventional teeth cleaning devices are unavailable or inconvenient. The present disclosure also describes processes for using and devices for storing and dispensing such devices.

The core component may include a body formed of a rigid material and decorative elements embedded within the body. The hairbrush member is coupled to the animal form. The hairbrush member includes a support member and a plurality of brushing members coupled to the support member. The animal form is coupled to the hairbrush member.

An oral care implement having a handle and a head. The head may include a support structure formed of a rigid material and a monolithic cleaning block formed of a thermoplastic elastomer. The support structure may have a front surface and a recess formed therein, the recess extending partially through the support structure and terminating in a floor. The monolithic cleaning block may include an anchor portion disposed within the recess of the support structure, a base portion having a bottom surface overlying at least a portion of the front surface of the support structure, and a plurality of cleaning elements extending from a top surface of the base portion.

SYSTEM FOR OPERATING MODES FOR AN ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
Various operational mode arrangements of an electric toothbrush (10) include pre-programming a controller portion (16) of the electric toothbrush such that a single brushing event of approximately two minutes comprises automatically at least two different operating modes and specified times for each mode. Another operational mode includes the capability of operating the on/off button (20) of the toothbrush within a specified short time following termination of a normal brushing event to provide the user a specified additional time, e.g. 30 seconds of toothbrush action. A special toothbrush interface arrangement includes a display (80) which encourages children to maintain brushing for the full brushing period. This is accomplished through sequential illustration of the progress of an article from an initial state to a final desired state as the toothbrush is used for increasing portions of a full brushing time period. In another embodiment, a toothbrush (120) includes a capability of adjusting the performance/operating characteristics in accordance with the age of a child user.

In accordance with the present invention the attachable/detachable hairbrush handle top uses a compressible top portion which may be a geometrically shaped handle located at the top of any base configuration and in one embodiment may be an elliptically shaped base. The combination of a compressible hairbrush handle top attached to a hairbrush is intended for better brushing a user's hair by allowing the user to have the hairbrush bristles contact a larger region of the user's scalp and hair roots.
