The drug delivery device includes a mechanical stop configured to provide a pause between the delivery of the first and second doses. During the pause, a user of the drug delivery device can move the drug delivery device from one nostril, into which the first dose was sprayed, to another nostril, into which the second dose can be sprayed. The mechanical stop is configured to hold the drug delivery device in a static delivery state.

DRIVING MECHANISM FOR DRIVING A PLUNGER OF AN AUTO-INJECTOR TO SLIDE RELATIVE TO A RESERVOIR OF THE AUTO-INJECTOR AND AUTO-INJECTOR THEREWITH
20230285680 · 2023-09-14 · ·

A driving mechanism for driving a plunger of an auto-injector to slide relative to a reservoir of the auto-injector is provided. The driving mechanism includes a first transmission component, a driving component, a second transmission component, a third transmission component, a sliding component and a bracket. The driving component is for driving the first transmission component to rotate to drive the second transmission component to rotatably drive the third transmission component rotate together with the second transmission component, so as to drive the sliding component to slide relative to the third transmission component by the third transmission component to push the plunger to pump a drug out of the reservoir. The sliding component passes through a guiding portion of the bracket, and the guiding portion is configured to guide the sliding component to slide without any rotation. Besides, a related auto-injector is provided.

Syringe support and autoinjector

The disclosure relates to a syringe support for supporting an axial position of a syringe relative to a housing of an autoinjector. The syringe support comprises a projecting portion, which projects from the syringe support in a distal direction and a flexible portion which axially adjoins the projecting portion. The flexible portion is adapted to axially bias the syringe in the distal direction within the housing. The disclosure further relates to an autoinjector.

Dual-chamber delivery device
11752268 · 2023-09-12 · ·

A drug delivery device configured to provide a dose of a first medicament followed by a dose of a second medicament is disclosed. The device includes a main exterior body and an interior body. The device further includes a dual-chamber reservoir with (i) a first chamber holding the first medicament and (ii) a second chamber holding the second medicament. The device also includes a needle and a plunger. After activation of the device, the plunger is configured to (i) move the dual-chamber reservoir a given distance in a distal direction with respect to the interior body so that a distal end of the needle extends out of the interior body and (ii) after moving the dual-chamber reservoir the given distance, move in the distal direction with respect to the dual-chamber reservoir so as to eject from the needle the first medicament followed by the second medicament.

Small unit dosage plunger rod stops

Plunger rod stops attach to existing syringes to limit the range of motion of the plunger, thereby to precisely control the amount of liquid that can be expelled from the syringe when the plunger rod stop is in place. In some embodiments, plunger rod stop devices generally include a body configured to attach to the plunger, and a stand-off extending from the body, configured to contact the finger flange when the plunger is depressed. In other embodiments, the plunger rod stop attaches to the finger flange or other fixed component of the syringe and the stand-off is configured to contact the plunger or plunger rod. Methods of the invention involve using the devices to interfere with the range of motion of the plunger, then reconfiguring or removing the device to allow the plunger to be moved a predetermined length, which corresponds to a precise dosage amount.

APPARATUS FOR OPERATING SYRINGE

INTRAVITREAL INJECTOR

Provided herein are needle assemblies for intravitreal injection of an (e.g., one or more) implant(s) into an eye of a patient through an unsheathed state and a sheathed state. Such needle assemblies are precise and accurate for proper treatment and prevent further damage to the eye.

AUTO INJECTOR WITH CASSETTE

The invention also relates to an improved auto injector adapted for receiving a cassette with medicament and for administering the medicament in the cassette to a patient, the auto injector extending from a proximal end to a distal end along a longitudinal axis, wherein the cassette is removable received in the auto injector along the longitudinal direction.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DELIVERING A MEDICAMENT
