The first and second reservoir unit are identical.

DRUG SYRINGES WITH A MECHANICAL STOP FOR A SECOND DOSE

Various exemplary drug syringes with a mechanical stop for a second dose, drug products utilizing the same, and methods of using drug syringes with a mechanical stop for a second dose are provided. In general, a nasal drug delivery device is configured to dispense therefrom first and second doses of a drug therefrom into a nose. The drug delivery device includes a mechanical stop configured to provide a pause between the delivery of the first and second doses. During the pause, a user of the drug delivery device can move the drug delivery device from one nostril, into which the first dose was sprayed, to another nostril, into which the second dose can be sprayed. The mechanical stop is configured to hold the drug delivery device in a static delivery state.

A medicine dispensing device and system for administering a selected drug. The medicine dispensing device includes a vessel configured to retain a drug to be dispensed. The medicine dispensing device may comprise a first series of zones of varying widths on a surface of the vessel, with each zone of the first series of zones corresponding to a pre-determined dose of the drug for a first medical condition wherein the first series of zones are correlated to a first series of values of a physical characteristic of a patient; and a second series of zones of varying widths on the surface of the vessel, with each zone of the second series of zones corresponding to a pre-determined dose of the drug for a second medical condition wherein the second series of zones are correlated to a second series of values of the physical characteristic of a patient.

Dose clip assembly for syringe

An apparatus includes a first member and a second member. The first member is configured to receive a portion of a syringe barrel and includes a first stop surface. The second member includes a second stop surface. Each stop surface is configured to engage the portion of a plunger to thereby arrest longitudinal movement of the plunger relative to the syringe barrel. The second member is operable to move relative to the first member from a first position to a second position. The second member remains coupled with the first member while in both the first position and the second position. The second stop surface engages the portion of the plunger when the second member is in the first position. The second stop surface does not prevent the portion of the plunger from reaching the first stop surface when the second member is in the second position.

In one embodiment, a system for injecting includes a syringe body having proximal and distal ends, a syringe interior, and a syringe flange at the proximal end thereof. The system also includes an injectable fluid disposed in the syringe interior. The system further includes a stopper member disposed in the syringe interior. Moreover, the system includes a plunger member coupled to the stopper member. In addition, the system includes a finger flange removably coupled to the syringe flange, the finger flange including a proximally directed screw. The system also includes a rotatable member disposed on the proximally directed screw, the rotatable member defining a rotatable member opening through which the plunger member is disposed and having an elastic latch disposed adjacent the rotatable member opening.

Small unit dosage plunger rod stops

Plunger rod stops attach to existing syringes to limit the range of motion of the plunger, thereby to precisely control the amount of liquid that can be expelled from the syringe when the plunger rod stop is in place. In some embodiments, plunger rod stop devices generally include a body configured to attach to the plunger, and a stand-off extending from the body, configured to contact the finger flange when the plunger is depressed. In other embodiments, the plunger rod stop attaches to the finger flange or other fixed component of the syringe and the stand-off is configured to contact the plunger or plunger rod. Methods of the invention involve using the devices to interfere with the range of motion of the plunger, then reconfiguring or removing the device to allow the plunger to be moved a predetermined length, which corresponds to a precise dosage amount.

INJECTION DEVICE FILL VOLUME MANAGEMENT

An apparatus for a firing mechanism 102 for use in an injection device 100 and comprising: a rear cap 104 having an elongate member 110 extending axially forwards when installed within the injection device; a plunger 106 releasably connected, directly or indirectly, to the elongate member and, upon release of the connection to the elongate member, axially displaceable in a forward direction; and a plunger driver 112 to drive the plunger axially forwards upon release of the connection to the elongate member, wherein the plunger and the rear cap define an axial length of the assembly, which in turn determines a start position of a forward end of the plunger before release of the connection to the elongate member, and wherein, during construction of the assembly, the plunger is releasably connectable, directly or indirectly, to the elongate member at one of a plurality of positions for controlling the axial length of the assembly.
