Injection device
An injection device for injecting a substance into a body, including a syringe having: a needle, a barrel, a stopper, a plunger rod, moveable from an initial position to a final position, a needle shield, moveable at least from a retracted position to a safety position, a locking unit, arranged to lock the needle shield into the safety position, a locking actuator moveable at least: from a non-actuating position, into which the locking unit is in an open mode, to an actuating position, into which the locking actuator is arranged to put the locking unit in closed mode so that the needle shield can be locked into the safety position.
Safety assembly for a syringe
A safety support device for a syringe comprises a support sheath for the body of the syringe and an inner sheath suitable for sliding relative to the support sheath between a waiting, retracted position and the extended position for protecting the needle of the syringe. The device has means for holding the syringe body relative to the support sheath and retaining means suitable for being activated to retain g the inner sheath in the waiting, retracted position inside the support sheath and for being deactivated by the piston of the syringe to allow the inner sheath to extend into its protective, extended position.
INJECTION DEVICE WITH PRICKING PROTECTION AND/OR OVERLOAD PROTECTION FOR A PRODUCT CONTAINER
An injection device having a distal end, and including a needle located inside the injection device in an initial position, wherein the needle is moveable to a puncturing position in which the needle projects from the distal end, an open region located distally relative to the needle in the initial position of the needle and having a dimension, a reduction piece moveable relative to the opening region whereby the dimension may be reduced and a holding member that latchingly connects to the reduction piece and a product container holder.
Auto-retractible syringe
An auto-retracting hypodermic syringe has a housing extending axially to form a collar and housing interacting syringe components, an outer barrel is fixed within or forms part of the housing and an inner barrel is slidably mounted within the outer barrel for rearward movement within the outer barrel, the inner barrel has a mount for mounting a hypodermic needle on it or a needle already within a mount; a plunger has a piston on its distal end for withdrawing liquid dosage into the inner barrel when the plunger is pulled back and for injecting dosage when the plunger is pushed forward; axially-spaced, different-diameter discs on the plunger engage with radially pivoting, hinged latching arms formed on the proximal end of the housing and there are other associated latch members on the inner barrel and the housing which move inwards and outwards in correspondence with forward and rearward movements of the plunger; a coil spring is placed between the housing and inner barrel to exert needle retraction force against the inner barrel to retract it into the housing after completion of injection of syringe contents whereupon a latch locks it into the housing.
Syringe with needle guard injection device
The present invention provides for an injection device including a syringe with a proximal end, a distal end, a needle extending from the distal end, and a plunger inserted into the proximal end. A guard is slidable on the syringe, has a proximal end, a distal end, and is biased from a first position wherein the needle is exposed towards a second position wherein the guard covers the needle. The injection device includes first and second sets of cooperating detents for retaining the guard and syringe in the first and second positions, respectively. A latch member extends proximally from the guard that is engageable by the plunger as the plunger is depressed to release the first set of cooperating detents. Upon release, a spring element biases the guard towards the second position until the second set of cooperating detents engage and secure the guard in the second position.
PACKAGING BODY AND PACKAGING ASSEMBLY
A packaging body is configured to house a prefilled syringe that comprises an outer cylinder fillable with a liquid and a plunger movable with respect to the outer cylinder. The packaging body includes a container comprising a housing portion configured to house the prefilled syringe. The housing portion is configured to house the prefilled syringes with various protrusion lengths of the plungers from the outer cylinders, and comprises a first regulating portion that regulates movement of the plunger in a distal end direction in a housed state in which the prefilled syringe is housed in the housing portion.
SYRINGE ASSEMBLY WITH AUTOMATIC SAFETY SHEILD
A safety shield for use with a hypodermic syringe device is disclosed. The safety shield is moveable relative to the syringe barrel between retracted position and a needle containing position. In the retracted position, the syringe device may be used to inject the needle into the patient. After the medication has been injected or as the needle is withdrawn from the patient, in its operative mode the shield automatically extends from its retracted position to a needle containing position to shield the point of the needle to prevent accidental sticks and without further input from the operator to render the syringe unusable after a single injection.
Needle Sheathing Device With Flexible End-Piece For Syringe
The invention relates to a safe support device for a syringe, said support comprising a support sheath for the body of a syringe, and safety means which comprise an inner sheath suitable for sliding relative to said support sheath between a waiting retracted position, in which said inner sheath is substantially retracted inside said support sheath, and an active protection position, in which said inner sheath projects from said support sheath. The inner sheath has a free end portion formed by a flexible end-piece. The invention also relates to an assembly comprising such a safe support device and a syringe having a body, a piston and a needle disposed at one end of said body.
Safety device for a liquid injection syringe, and a syringe assembly including the device
The syringe comprises a body containing the liquid and having fitted thereto an endpiece for fastening a needle carrier. The safety device comprises a protective sheath and a syringe support that is received inside the sheath. The sheath and the support are axially movable relative to each other between two positions, namely an uncovered position of the needle, and a retracted position of said needle. The support includes anti-rotation means for constraining it in rotation about its axis and comprising at least one pawl urged resiliently into a position in which the pawl is designed to co-operate with complementary anti-rotation means of the fastener endpiece. The sheath and the support include complementary anti-rotation means for constraining them in rotation relative to each other about their axes and activated at least when the sheath and the support are in their uncovered position of the needle.
