Assembly for and Method of Dispensing a Liquid
Assembly for dispensing a liquid, in particular a colorant for paint, comprising a container for holding a liquid, a pump, a valve, at least one dispense opening, and comprising or associated with a controller arranged to operate the pump and the valve to withdraw liquid from the container and to dispense liquid via the opening and to operate the pump and the valve to purge liquid from the pump to the container via the dispense opening.
Dual Component Systems for Addition of Pigment Dispersions
Apparatus, systems and methods that add pigment/colorant to a two-part reactive resin coating formulation without deleteriously affecting the stoichiometric ratio of resin-to-hardener in the two-part reactive resin coating formulation (2K coating). Two-component apparatus and systems are provided that include a first compartment having a pigmented resinous composition and a second compartment having a hardener composition. The pigmented resinous and hardener compositions are discharged from the two-component apparatus/systems in a mixed or unmixed state to render a dual pigmented resin-hardener composition having a stoichiometric ratio of resin-to-hardener substantially the same as that of the 2K coating, such that when mixed therewith, the dual pigmented resin-hardener composition avoids altering the stoichiometric ratio of resin-to-hardener of the 2K coating.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR COLORING HAIR
A system for scanning a client's hair color and dispensing hair coloring to change the clients hair color from an initial color to a target color is disclosed. The system comprises an input for reading the measured color from the scanning device, a processor configured to compare the measured color to a desired target hair color and develop a coloring protocol for changing the clients current hair color to the desired target color, and a dispenser for dispensing one or more formulations that follow the protocol.
Process for preserving a dispersion in a metering apparatus and metering apparatus
Shown and described here is a process for preserving a dispersion in a metering apparatus, wherein the dispersion is stored in a container (1, 101, 201) which is part of the metering apparatus, wherein an oxidant is introduced into the container (1, 101, 201). Also described are a metering apparatus configured for this process and a use of an oxidant for preserving dispersions.
STIRRER ASSEMBLY
A stirrer assembly for, in use, stirring liquid in a receptacle with the receptacle lid in place, which includes a receptacle receiving portion which is locatable inside the receptacle, a first guide member which is mountable onto a floor of the receptacle for rotatably guiding the receptacle receiving portion, a second guide member which is defined centrally a receptacle lid and extending downward therefrom, for in use, rotatably guiding an upper region of receptacle receiving portion, a sealing member for releasably sealing the second guide member, and a drive member which is connectable to the upper region of the receptacle receiving portion, for in use, transmitting torque to the shaft upon rotation of the said drive member.
MIXER
For vertical downsizing, a mixer includes a motor including a stator and a rotor, a motor housing accommodating the motor, a reducer driven by the rotor, a reducer housing below the motor housing and accommodating the reducer, a shaft holder protruding downward from the reducer housing to hold a mixer shaft, and a controller that controls the motor. The controller is vertically on the same level as the motor.
Machine and Method to Automatically Dispense Fluid Products, In Particular Liquid Dyes
A machine to automatically dispense at least one fluid product, in particular a liquid dye, comprising support members configured to support one or more dispensing units each having a tank, in which said fluid product to be dispensed is contained, a dispensing nozzle and a pumping member, configured to selectively convey a desired quantity of the fluid product from the tank to the dispensing nozzle and from the latter to an external container. Rapid attachment means, drivable by an actuation element, which can also be possibly driven manually, are present to allow the easy and simple positioning of each dispensing unit on the support means and the equally easy and simple removal of each dispensing unit from the support members.
Method for Avoiding the Microbial Attack of a Cleaning Apparatus for a Metering Unit, and Cleaning Apparatus
What is presented and described is a method for avoiding the microbial attack of a cleaning apparatus (X2), in particular a cleaning apparatus (X2) for a metering system, wherein the cleaning apparatus (X2) has at least one mechanical cleaning element (X29) with at least one cleaning surface (X31), wherein the method is characterized in that the at least one cleaning surface (X31) of the at least one mechanical cleaning element (X29) is exposed, at least temporarily, to an oxidizing agent. The present invention further relates to a method for cleaning a metering system, in particular for a dispersion, especially a paint-metering system, to a cleaning apparatus, and to a metering system.
Modular production system and method for producing formulations
Described herein is a modular production system for the production of formulations, the module production system including a first unit for the production of formulations and a second unit for the receipt and removal from storage of piece goods and loading units and for the provision of piece goods. Also described herein is a process for producing formulations using the modular production system.
System and method for selecting paint compositions based on expected paint application conditions
Expert system and method for computing an adjustment procedure for obtaining an adjusted exterior waterborne paint composition for an exterior surface to be painted at a paint application site on a specific date. A starting exterior waterborne paint composition comprises base chemical compounds. When one or more computed target values of target chemical compounds for the adjusted exterior waterborne paint composition are determined different from the plurality of base values, the adjustment procedure is computed for transforming the starting exterior waterborne paint composition into the adjusted exterior paint composition and instructions comprising the adjustment procedure are sent to a remote device.
