ASSEMBLY FOR REDUCING SIZE OF SUSPENDED SOLIDS

An assembly for reducing the size of suspended solids in a pump intake including a rotatable element and a screen configured to locate in a position between a pump and the rotatable element.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROCESSING OF FILTER MATERIAL, PRODUCT OBTAINED THEREOF
20190017202 · 2019-01-17 ·

Filter material, mainly in form of industrial remnants from the production of the filter fillings, is processed without the intake of the heat in such a way that it is cut in the disintegrator (4) at the presence of the air, where the material is during retention time repeatedly led to the contact with the rotating blades and bunches emerge in the disintegrator (4) through aeration. The flat carrier (3) is thus at least partially disintegrated to the original fibers (1); the released fibers (1) intertwine into bunches and the active carbon (2) is released from the original bond with the flat carrier (3). The swirl (vortex) created inside the disintegrator (4) carries the dust particles of the active carbon (2) and they adhere to the surface of the fibers (1). Part of the released active carbon (2) isafter the separationcarried away from the emergin bunches, which in the lower part of the disintegrator (4) run through the sieve out of the disintegrator (4). The resulting product is advantageously applicable as heat and noise isolation in all fields of technology, for example construction. The separated active carbon (2) in form of granules is also a resulting product of processing.

Method for detecting wear in crushers during idle operation

A method for detecting wear in crushers, having a wearing part (2) mounted on a drive shaft (1), during idle operation is described in which downtimes that impair crusher productivity can be eliminated and nevertheless reliable wear detection is made possible with low risk of injury to machine operators. The drive shaft (1) is accelerated from a starting angular speed (?1) to an end angular speed (?2) with a specified acceleration, and the drive energy required for this is ascertained, whereupon the wear of the wearing part (2) is ascertained as the value assigned to the required drive energy in a specified wearing-part characteristic curve (3, 4, 5).

Material Mixing System
20180118989 · 2018-05-03 ·

The invention relates generally to a mixing system for mixing a dry material with a liquid. The mixing system includes a supply of dry material and a supply of liquid. An infinitely variable metering device meters the dry material into the liquid. A sensor senses the ratio of dry material to liquid. The sensor is operatively connected to the metering device to control the metering device to obtain a desired ratio of dry material to liquid. The dry material is dispensed volumetrically by volume of liquid to form the desired ratio of dry material to liquid.
