The bending machine (1) comprises a machine frame (4) and a support device (15) which is designed to hold the metal sheet (3) to be bent, a support surface (16) of the support device (15) being arranged in a horizontal plane with the support surface (7) of a clamping base (5). The support device (15) has at least a first support module (17) and a second support module (18) having a first support surface (19) and a second support surface (20). At least one of the support modules (17, 18) is horizontally displaceable in the longitudinal direction (21) of the bending machine (1) and as a result a first gap (22) extending at right angles to the blank-holder edge (12) can be set between the two support modules (17, 18). The support modules (17, 18) each have at least a first support element (24) and a second support element (24, 25) with a second gap (26) located between the support elements (24, 25), which second gap (26) is oriented parallel to the blank-holder edge (12).
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SUPPORT AND CONTROLLED ADVANCEMENT OF A METAL SHEET IN A BENDING MACHINE FOR OBTAINING CYLINDRICAL OR TRUNCATED CONE STRUCTURES
An apparatus for the support and the controlled advancement of a sheet in a bending machine for forming a cylindrical or conical structure, in particular of a truncated cone structure, comprises a base structural frame adapted to be positioned upstream of said bending machine, with respect to an advancement direction of the sheet, a plurality of conveying modules which can be mounted, removable, on the structural frame so as to generate a plan of modular support and advancement which can be configured geometrically according to the shape and dimensions of the sheet to be produced; the modular support and advancement plane is geometrically configured to keep the sheet metal part supported by the plane in a flat condition; an lifting and tilting device configured to vary the position of the structural frame, supporting the conveying modules, from a horizontal lying position to an inclined lying position in which the support and advancement plane is inclined downwards towards the bending machine; repositioning and position correcting members configured to orient and arrange the sheet in a correct position before starting a bending cycle and configured to correct, during the bending cycle, the position of the sheet to impose it a predetermined advancement trajectory towards and through the bending machine. The relative method is also envisaged.
METHOD OF ALIGNING A FLAT OR PROFILED METAL SHEET
A method of aligning a flat or profiled metal sheet with preformed notches on the two sides of the metal sheet when the sheet enters into a bender or folding machine directly from a roll forming machine linked or joined to the folder. The metal sheet has to be effectively aligned on the folder before folding to avoid potential damages to the metal sheet of not being properly squared or angled on bending while reducing the times to produce the folded products. Moreover, this method according to the invention allows the metal sheet to feed directly into the folder from the rollformer without having to pass through an intermediary transfer table or aligning device/machine before entering the folder for folding or manual alignment in the folder.
PRESS BRAKE IN WHICH HEIGHT POSITION OF OPERATION PANEL IS ADJUSTABLE IN SITTING STATE
A press brake includes paired fixation links, upper link arm, lower link arm and paired raised-lowered links, which form a parallel link mechanism configured to allow an operation panel to be raised and lowered. The press brake includes a spring configured to generate torque depending on a height position of the operation panel in an opposite direction to torque generated by weight of the operation panel; and a torque hinge configured to maintain a posture of the parallel link mechanism by absorbing a torque difference between the torque generated by the weight of the operation panel and the torque generated by the spring.

A production method includes a placement step, a first pressing step, and a second pressing step. In the placement step, a blank plate is placed in press tooling. In the first pressing step, the blank plate is caused to undergo bend forming in such a way that concave ridges, a concave area, and areas of concave-correspondence vertical wall areas that are areas adjacent to the concave ridges are formed in the blank plate. In the second pressing step, the resultant plate is caused to undergo draw forming in such a way that convex ridges, a convex area, areas of convex-correspondence vertical wall areas that are areas adjacent to the convex ridges are formed in the resultant plate.
