Caulking method
A caulking method includes: determining a caulking depth which becomes equal to or larger than a necessary release torque that has been set in advance, determining a stroke amount of a push-in part which becomes equal to or larger than the caulking depth that has been determined; determining the stroke amount of a drive unit which becomes equal to or larger than the stroke amount of the push-in part that has been determined, and controlling the drive unit at a target control stroke amount that is equal to or larger than the stroke amount of the drive unit that has been determined but is smaller than the stroke amount of the drive unit at which the caulk part is damaged.
STEERING OR TRACK ROD HAVING AN INTEGRAL CONNECTING PIPE
A connecting tube for connecting two joint attachments of a steering or track rod. The connecting tube is reinforced by at least one tube section connected by friction force to the connecting tube such that either the entire outer or inside wall the tube section is in contact against a wall of the connecting tube, thereby forming a press fit connection. The steering or the track rod has a connecting tube with end sections that each hold or support components of joint attachments. A method for producing a connecting tube or the steering or the track rod in which first a tube semifabricate of the tube section is positioned within a tube semifabricate of the connecting tube and then the two tube sernifabricates are expanded within a connection zone by a mandrel with an oversized section that is moved along the common axial direction of the two tube semifabricates.

ADJUSTMENT ASSEMBLY FOR A PRESS APPARATUS
A variable crimp machine includes an actuator adjustment assembly including a dial that rotates about an actuation axis and a barrel positioned along the actuation axis within the dial. The barrel includes a first set of axially spaced markings corresponding to a first hose and a second set of axially spaced markings correspond to a second hose. The dial includes a first set of circumferentially spaced markings corresponding to the first hose and a second set of circumferentially spaced markings corresponding to the second hose. The first set of circumferentially spaced markings are used in concert with the first set of axially spaced markings to adjust an actuator for use with the first hose, and the second set of circumferentially spaced markings are used in concert with the second set of axially spaced markings to adjust the actuator for use with the second hose.
Headrest bracket and seat headrest
A headrest support and a seat headrest in which the headrest support has a U shape and is configured for supporting a headrest. The headrest support includes an inner tube and an outer tube. The outer tube covers at least two end portions of the inner tube. The outer tube is secured to the inner tube by laser brazing.
Separator device
A separator device for removing particles from suspension in a liquid includes a housing having first and second chambers with apertures for ingress and egress of liquid into the first chamber. Means are provided for setting up a swirl of liquid within the first chamber. Apertures enable flow of liquid between the first chamber and the second chamber. Means are also provided for setting up a swirl of liquid within the second chamber. The swirl in the second chamber is in substantially the opposite direction to the swirl in the first chamber, and there is no substantial flow in the second chamber which is in the same direction as the swirl in the first chamber.
Outward direction pipe fitting swage machine systems and methods
Techniques for implementing and/or operating a system that includes a pipe fitting to be secured to a pipe segment, in which the pipe fitting includes a grab ring having a grab notch and a fitting jacket to be conformally deformed around tubing of the pipe segment to facilitate securing the pipe fitting to the pipe segment. The system includes a swage machine, which includes a grab plate having a grab tab that matingly interlocks with the grab notch to facilitate securing the pipe fitting to the swage machine, a die plate including a die that opens away from the grab plate, and a swaging actuator secured to the die plate. The swage machine operates the swaging actuator to move the die plate over the fitting jacket in an outwardly axial direction away from the grab plate to facilitate conformally deforming the fitting jacket around the tubing of the pipe segment.
PORTABLE HOSE FITTING SWAGING DEVICE
A hose fitting swaging device may include a base at least two truss rods, first and second die collars and a hydraulic cylinder. The truss rods may be spaced apart from each other and extend upward from the base. Each truss rod may have a proximal end removably secured to the base. Each truss rod may also have a distal end opposite the base. The first die collar may be removably secured to the distal ends of the truss rods. The second die collar may be slideably retained by the truss rods, between the base and the first die collar. The hydraulic cylinder may be removably secured to the base in between the truss rods and beneath the second die collar. Thus, the hydraulic cylinder may be operable to forcibly drive the second die collar upwards, along the truss rods, toward the first die collar. The first die collar may be supported entirely by the truss rods.
POWER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A tolerance ring is arranged between an output-side rotary shaft and a rotor shaft. For this reason, even when looseness in a spline fitting portion of the output-side rotary shaft and rotor shaft is not filled, both the output-side rotary shaft and the rotor shaft are held by the tolerance ring so as not to rattle. Therefore, it is possible to reduce tooth hammer noise that occurs in the spline fitting portion.
Swage apparatus and swage method
A swage apparatus includes a main body for supporting a coupling such that an axis of the coupling is oriented in a first direction, a stopper which comes into contact with one member of a first member or a second member of the coupling and restricts the one member from moving in the first direction, a pusher which comes into contact with the other member of the first member or the second member and pushes the other member in the first direction, and a cover member for covering the coupling so as to prevent the axis of the coupling from becoming displaced. The axis can thereby be prevented from becoming displaced.
