The invention relates to an apparatus for the casting of cast parts according to the permanent mold casting method comprising: a pivotable retaining element (9) for holding a permanent mold (13, 16) a furnace (11) which may be connected to a low-pressure permanent mold (13) in such a way that melt may be fed to the low-pressure permanent mold (13) in accordance with the low-pressure process, and a melt feed device (17) by which melt may be fed to a gravity permanent mold (16), wherein the gravity permanent mold (16) may be mounted on the retaining element (9).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CASTING SPUTTERING TARGETS
Methods for manufacturing rotary target materials that allows a material to be cast in a melting zone of a casting vessel while the vessel is rotated such that a melting zone is below a casting zone. The vessel is sealed and the pressure inside the vessel is reduced and the exterior of the vessel is heated. The melting zone of the vessel is heated to a temperature that melts the material and releases any trapped gasses which can be pumped out using the vacuum pump. Once the melting zone and molten material have reached a specified temperature, outgassed, and the casting zone has reached a temperature to maximize adhesion and reduce voids and defects, the vessel is rotated until the melting zone is directly above the casting zone to transfer the material from the melting zone to the casting zone.
TILT CASTING APPARATUS AND TILT CASTING METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a tilt casting mold, a tilt casting apparatus, and a tilt casting method that can manufacture a molded product with a small quality difference without compensation for contraction of molten metal by forming a riser on a tilt casing mold and pressing the riser. According to an embodiment, there is provided a tilt casting mold that includes a cope and a drag, in which when the cope and the drag are combined, a predetermined cavity is formed therein and a riser is formed on a side of the cavity; a pouring cup is coupled to a surface having the riser of the drag; molten material is poured in the pouring cup and then the molten metal in the pouring cup is injected into the cavity by tilting the mold assembly composed of the cope, the drag, and the pouring cup.
COPPER ALLOY AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A copper alloy consisting of two or more of Cr, Ti and Zr, and the balance Cu and impurities, in which the relationship between the total number N and the diameter X satisfies the following formula (1). Ag, P, Mg or the like may be included instead of a part of Cu. This copper alloy is obtained by cooling a bloom, a slab, a billet, or a ingot in at least in a temperature range from the bloom, the slab, the billet, or the ingot temperature just after casting to 450° C., at a cooling rate of 0.5° C./s or more. After the cooling, working in a temperature range of 600° C. or lower and further heat treatment of holding for 30 seconds or more in a temperature range of 150 to 750° C. are desirably performed. The working and the heat treatment are desirably performed a plurality of times.

CASTING FACILITY
A casting apparatus of a casting equipment includes an upper frame to which an upper mold is attached, a lower frame to which a lower mold is attached, a mold closing mechanism, a pair of main link members each of which has a central portion provided with a rotating shaft, a pair of auxiliary link members each of which has a central portion provided with a rotating shaft, and a drive means. The upper frame, the lower frame, the main link member, and the auxiliary link member constitute a parallel link mechanism.
Method and device for casting metal alloy ingots
The invention relates to a method of casting a metal alloy ingot. The method includes providing an on one side open-ended mould having a mould cavity, positioning the open-ended mould such that the mould opening points side-wards or down-wards, providing a casting container with an upwardly positioned aperture, and filling said casting container with molten metal for one casting operation. The method also includes locating the casting container below the mould while the mould opening points side-wards or down-wards, and rotating the mould together with the casting container to a position whereby the mould opening points upwards such that the molten metal is conveyed into the open-ended mould until a desired thickness. Molten metal in the open-ended mould is cooled directionally through its thickness where the solidification front remains substantially monoaxial.
Coated sand, production method for same, and production method for casting mold
Provided are: a coated sand having improved fluidity and being capable of improving a filling rate of a casting mold to be obtained; and a coated sand for advantageously manufacturing a casting mold having excellent strength, which coated sand provides a casting mold with good mold-releasability and collapsibility, gives cast products a favorable casting surface, and effectively improves sand adhesion on cast products. The coated sand is formed as a dry granular material having fluidity at room temperature, in which the surface of a refractory aggregate is coated with a solid layer of a water-soluble inorganic binder, and spherical particles of silicone resin having binder-repellency exist on the surface of the binder layer, or form a layer on the surface of the binder layer, a part of the spherical particles being not covered with the water-soluble inorganic binder and being exposed.
Casting device
A casting apparatus according to the present disclosure includes an upper frame, a lower frame, a main link member, a sub-link member and a lifting/lowering mechanism. The upper mold is attached to the upper frame. The lower frame is disposed in parallel with the upper frame. The lower mold is attached to the lower frame. A top end part of the main link member is rotatably connected to the upper frame and a bottom end part thereof is rotatably connected to the lower frame. The sub-link member is disposed in parallel with the main link member, the top end part thereof is rotatably connected to the upper frame and the bottom end part thereof is rotatably connected to the lower frame. The lifting/lowering mechanism causes the sub-link member to lift or lower with respect to the main link member.
Method and device for casting metal alloy ingots
A method of casting a metal alloy ingot, including the following steps: providing a one side open-ended mould including a plurality of sides and a bottom plate defining a mould cavity with a mould opening, the open-ended mould being pivotable around a horizontal rotational axis between a position so that the mould opening points upwards and a position so that the mould opening points side-wards or down-wards; positioning the open-ended mould such that the mould opening points side-wards or down-wards; providing a casting container with an upwardly positioned aperture; filling the casting container with molten metal for one casting operation; coupling the casting container to the open-ended mould so that the casting container is located below the mould while the mould opening points side-wards or down-wards; rotating the open-ended mould together with the casting container around the horizontal rotational axis for approximately 90° to 180° from a position whereby the mould opening points side-wards or down-wards to a position whereby the mould opening points upwards such that the molten metal is conveyed through the mould opening into the open-ended mould until reaching a desired thickness, whereby the molten metal in the open-ended mould is cooled directionally through its thickness where the solidification front remains substantially monoaxial.
