Mattress with overlapping edge segments
A mattress 10 that provides an edge support feature that remains firmly supportive throughout bending of the mattress on an adjustable foundation, while also providing a flat, tailored finish for the side of the mattress. The mattress has a base, an upper surface, and two side walls extending between two end walls such that the base, upper surface, side walls, and end walls define a cavity comprising a mattress support, such as a spring unit, that supports the upper surface above the base. The side walls and/or end walls comprise an edge support system having a plurality of overlapping edge segments.
ZIPPERED MATTRESS COVER WITH INNER FLANGE
A mattress cover may include a top cover portion, a bottom cover portion, and a border panel cover portion positioned to extend around a perimeter of a mattress. The mattress cover may include a closure element positioned to enable opening of the cover to access an interior region of the cover. The mattress cover includes an internal flange element positioned in the interior region. A mattress may include the cover, and the flange element may be connected to one or more internal mattress elements, such as springs or foam. A method of making a mattress may include positioning internal mattress elements in the interior region, attaching the internal flange element to at least one of internal mattress elements, and closing the mattress cover with a closure element such as a zipper. The closure element may be positioned on a bottom side of the cover.
ZIPPERED MATTRESS COVER WITH INNER FLANGE
A mattress cover may include a top cover portion, a bottom cover portion, and a border panel cover portion positioned to extend around a perimeter of a mattress. A polymeric material mixture comprising a fluorine-containing polymer, a siloxane polymer, and at least two polymer processing additives (PPA), wherein the at least two polymer processing additives have different chemistries. For example, there can be a flexible coextruded pipe for providing a protective housing for cables, fluids, sludge or solids, the pipe comprising a pair of telescopically related inner and outer layers, where said inner layer is lubricated with the polymeric material mixture.
Low density pocket spring mattress with integrated cushioning pads
A pocket spring mattress for use in a bedding or seating product is disclosed. The mattress comprises a plurality of interconnected coil springs enclosed in continuous covers forming strings of pockets accommodating the coil springs. Adjacent coil springs within each string are spaced apart by an interjacent separation distance, said separation distance exceeding at least 20 percent of the diameter of the largest one of the spiral turns of the adjacent coil springs. Further, the pocket spring mattress further comprises a cushioning pad located above the upper end of each coil spring, wherein the covers provides first compartments enclosing the coil springs, and second compartments enclosing the cushioning pads, said first and second compartments being separated from each other. The cushioning pads each have a length extension in the longitudinal direction of the strings exceeding the diameter of the largest one of the spiral turns of the corresponding coil spring.
Ventilated comfort layer
A bed assembly includes a mattress that has rails that define an outer perimeter of the mattress and an inner core defined between the rails of the mattress. Springs are positioned within the inner core. A comfort layer including ventilation openings is supported by the rails of the mattress so that the comfort layer covers the mattress and the ventilation openings are in fluid communication with the inner core. In some instances, the comfort layer is positioned so that the ventilation openings are aligned with coil openings defined through the springs within the mattress.
Ventilated comfort layer
A bed assembly includes a mattress that has rails that define an outer perimeter of the mattress and an inner core defined between the rails of the mattress. Springs are positioned within the inner core. A comfort layer including ventilation openings is supported by the rails of the mattress so that the comfort layer covers the mattress and the ventilation openings are in fluid communication with the inner core. In some instances, the comfort layer is positioned so that the ventilation openings are aligned with coil openings defined through the springs within the mattress.
MATTRESS WITH CROWNED PANEL
Mattresses and improved fabric covers for providing mattresses that have smooth surfaces. Additionally, methods for manufacturing non-quilted mattress covers and for manufacturing mattresses employing non-quilted mattress covers. The systems and methods described herein include mattress panels that can be manufactured separate from the inner core construction, and laid over the inner core to be fastened in place as a sleeping surface for the mattress. Optionally, these mattress panels can include a layer of fire retardant material, that may be added as a layer of material or that may be incorporated into one or more of the layers, such as a filler layer, in the mattress panel.
SOFA BED
A sofa bed includes: a plurality of elastic modules; a body frame having slide rails arranged thereon; and armrest frames disposed at two sides of the body frame along a longitudinal direction of the body frame, respectively. The slide rails on the body frame are configured to enable the plurality of elastic modules to be mounted on the body frame from an outside of the body frame and to slide thereon to predetermined mounting positions, such that the body frame at one side facing the user is provided with the plurality of elastic modules. The angle between the seat and the backrest portion can be locked for improved operation. The elastic modules, which can be easily installed and uninstalled, can improve the comfort of the sofa bed.
Mattress assembly and method
A mattress assembly includes a chassis having top and bottom walls and first and second sidewalls that each extend from the top wall to the bottom wall. Inner surfaces of the walls and the sidewalls define an interior cavity. The top and bottom walls each include a first section that is connected to the first sidewall and a second section that is connected to the second sidewall such that the first sections are pivotable relative to the first sidewall and the second sections are pivotable relative to the second sidewall. The first section of the top wall is pivotable relative to the second section of the top wall and the first section of the bottom wall is pivotable relative to the second section of the bottom wall. A spring assembly is configured to be positioned within the interior cavity.
