The head receiving pocket has a support surface transverse to the longitudinal axis. A central recess is formed in the support surface and extends rearwardly therefrom. The central recess has a plurality of resiliently displaceable abutment portions circumferentially alternating with and spaced apart by a plurality of intermediate portions. Each abutment portion has a radially inward facing abutment surface, and each intermediate portion has an intermediate surface intersecting two circumferentially adjacent abutment surfaces. A rotary cutting tool includes the shank and a cutting head releasably mounted thereto. The cutting head has a mounting portion provided with a base surface and an engagement member protruding therefrom. In an assembled position, the engagement member is resiliently retained in the central recess against the plurality of abutment surfaces.

The tool further comprises an attachment element which is fixedly connected to the cutting insert and extends in a circumferential direction around the cutting insert shank, wherein at least a part of the attachment element is made of a second material which differs from the first material. Still further, the tool comprises a fastening element for fastening the cutting insert on the tool holder, wherein, in a mounted state of the tool, the fastening element contacts the attachment element in order to fasten the cutting insert on the tool holder.

CUTTING TOOL

A cutting tool according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes an attaching portion, a cutting portion having a core portion and a surface portion, and a joint portion. The attaching portion includes a hard component and a hard material. The hard component is at least one selected from the group consisting of TiC, TiCN, W, WC, Al.sub.2O.sub.3, and a combination of at least one of CBN and diamond and at least one of W and WC. The hard material includes one or two or more types of iron group elements, and has a Young's modulus of not more than 350 GPa. The core portion includes a cemented carbide material. The surface portion includes PCD or CBN. The cutting portion has a chamfer portion. The surface portion includes a groove, a flank face, and a cutting edge. The cutting edge extends toward the attaching portion.

A screwing tool provided with a high-torsion handle including a screwing tool body and a screwing tool handle is provided. An inner hole in an irregular shape is formed in the screwing tool handle, and the shape of the top end of the screwing tool body is the same as that of the inner hole. The screwing tool body and the screwing tool handle are fixed to each other via high-strength glue, and the inner hole of the screwing tool handle is a semi-cylindrical inner hole, a triangular inner hole, a quadrilateral inner hole, a hexagonal inner hole, an octagonal inner hole or a decagonal inner hole. Since the inner hole of the handle is machined into the irregular polygon, all types of screwing tools including drill bits can be fixed to the screwing tool handle via the high-strength glue.

CUTTING TOOL

A cutting tool including a body, a blade, a feed shaft, and a locking member. The body defines an axis and is adapted to be received by a spindle of a power tool. The blade is removably supportable on the body and rotatable about the axis for cutting a workpiece. A feed shaft is removably supportable in the body and rotatable about the axis for engaging a workpiece, the feed shaft being mountable in the cutting tool to engage and at least partially restrain the blade. The feed shaft further includes an opening transverse to the axis. The locking member is engageable with the body and with the opening in the feed shaft. Advancement of the locking member into the opening tightens both the blade and the feed shaft to the body.
