Sheet Metal Tooling Assembly
A sheet metal tooling assembly for drilling, snipping, notching, and crimping sheet metal includes a housing, which defines an interior space. A motor and a drive linkage are engaged to the housing and are positioned in the interior space. The drive linkage is operationally engaged to the motor. A battery is selectively engageable to the first section so that the battery is operationally engaged to the motor. A fixed chuck is engaged to the housing and is operationally engaged to the drive linkage. A tool for tooling sheet metal is selectively engageable to the fixed chuck. The motor is positioned to actuate the tool via the drive linkage and the shaft so that the tool can effect tooling of the sheet metal.
TOOL FOR CHIP REMOVING MACHINING AND A KIT FOR A TOOL FOR CHIP REMOVING MACHINING
A tool for chip removing machining includes a tool body having at least one insert seat that accommodates a cutting insert having a top and a bottom surface. The tool body secures the cutting insert in the insert seat by an attachment member, and the insert seat has a bottom surface and at least one side surface. The tool includes at least one assembling aid, which is provided at least at one insert seat and which includes a clamping section and a mounting section. The clamping section extends above the bottom surface of the insert seat for, when the cutting insert is accommodated in the insert seat, engaging the top surface of the cutting insert. The clamping section is biased towards the bottom surface of the insert seat and the mounting section is attached to the tool body. A kit includes the tool, a shim and the assembling aid.
TOOLING EXCHANGE MECHANISM AND MACHINE TOOL HAVING THE TOOLING EXCHANGE MECHANISM
A tooling exchange mechanism and a machine tool having the tooling exchange mechanism, in which a load applied to a turret is reduced when exchanging a tooling in the machine tool, are provided with a pressing member 210 of a tooling detachment unit 200 that presses the rear end of a tooling holding unit 100 to be able to release the retracted state of a tool holder Th of a tooling T by a tool holder holding portion 150 of the tooling holding unit 100, and a locking lever 220 of the tooling detachment unit 200 engageable with an engaging projection 112a formed on the rear end side of the tooling holding unit 100.
Main shaft for rotating tool
A rotating-tool main shaft includes a hollow ram, a hollow main shaft, a collet, a draw bar that moves the collet in the axial direction, a hydraulic cylinder that moves forwardly the draw bar, and a disc spring that moves backwardly the draw bar. The draw bar includes a spring catch which is retained in the hollow main shaft so as to be movable, and which catches the disc spring. The disc spring is placed in the hollow main shaft, and is placed within a distance that is at least a half of a distance from a tip of the draw bar to the spring catch in the axial direction.
HOLE SAW ARBOR ASSEMBLY
A cutting tool includes a hole saw and an arbor assembly removably coupled to the hole saw. The arbor assembly includes a shank having a first end, a second end opposite the first end and configured to be coupled to a power tool, a body between the first and second ends, and an longitudinal axis extending centrally through the shank between the first and second ends. The body includes a recess. The arbor assembly also includes a sleeve supported by the shank, the sleeve including a central bore that receives the shank and a locking member positioned in the central bore, the locking member formed as a single, monolithic piece with a remainder of the sleeve, the sleeve moveable between a first position, in which the locking member engages the recess, and a second position, in which the locking member is spaced apart from the recess.
A LOCKING MECHANISM AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
A device adapted to releasably lock with a bolt, the device comprising a front cover having a cavity which extends from the front cover to a rear portion of the device, wherein the cavity is adapted to receive the bolt with mounting concave portions for mounting the bolt in the cavity; a locking mechanism comprising a first group of locking shape, wherein the first group of locking shapes is moveable between a first position and a second position, wherein the first position is in the cavity, and the second position is in a corresponding first group of locking shape recesses. A moveable block comprising the first group of locking shape recesses; wherein disengagement of the first group of locking shapes is activated by movement of a release plate thereby allowing the first group of locking shapes to retract from the cavity into the first group of locking shape recesses.
METHOD FOR CONVEYING BULK MATERIALS, AND DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT THE METHOD
According to one method, bulk materials are conveyed in a metered quantity on at least one plate element and are lifted up from the plate element in order to organize the bulk materials by a movement oriented approximately perpendicularly to the plate element. The plate element is moved up and down at least transversely to the plate element support surface by at least one pulse, preferably two successive pulses, such that the bulk materials located on the plate element are lifted up from the plate element for a short time during each pulse, thus allowing an efficient and highly productive conveyance of the bulk materials.
DEBURRING TOOL AND DEBURRING METHOD
A deburring method includes rotating a case, a sleeve and a drive gear together with a spindle of a machining tool; transmitting rotating torque from the drive gear to a driven gear to rotate a tip tool together with a reciprocating shaft; receiving reactive torque to the tip tool in a reverse direction of a rotational direction of the case by a workpiece contact with the tip tool so that the reciprocating shaft rotates in a reverse direction of the rotational direction with respect to the sleeve; moving the reciprocating shaft to a basal end direction against an elastic force of a second spring with the driven gear sliding with respect to the drive gear; and cutting the workpiece by the tip tool.
Side-lock modular drill with spring-assisted bump-off
A rotary cutting tool with a shank and an interchangeable cutting tip, wherein the shank includes a pocket which receives the interchangeable cutting tip via an interference fit. The pocket includes two centering wall portions which, when viewed along a central longitudinal axis, are oriented at a first angle with respect to one another, the first angle being greater than zero. The interchangeable cutting tip is axially displaceable between: an initial position, assumed upon being received in the pocket of the shank; a clamped position, wherein the interchangeable cutting tip is fixedly held with respect to the shank; and a bump-off position, wherein the interchangeable cutting tip is not fixedly held. A holding element holds the interchangeable cutting tip in the clamped position, and a spring assembly which displaces the interchangeable cutting tip between the clamped position and the bump-off position. Other variants and embodiments are broadly contemplated herein.
Self-hammering cutting tool
A cutting tool with a plurality of cutting elements connected to a support structure wherein a portion of the support structure is configured to flex or bend based on the rotational frequency of the cutting tool. The rotational frequency of the cutting tool is a product of the design and composition of the tool.
