BAND SAW MACHINE WITH STARTING CUTTING POSITION CONTROL AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

A band saw machine includes a working platform, a cutting machine, a vertical displacement element causing the cutting machine to move vertically, a height sensor and a central processor. The working platform includes a reference plane for placing a workpiece. The cutting machine includes a driving wheel, a driven wheel, a band saw wound on the driving wheel and the driven wheel, and a motor that electrically drives the driving wheel. The band saw includes a starting cutting tooth and a processing cutting tooth sequentially arranged. The height sensor detects a starting cutting point of the workpiece farthest from the reference plane. The central processor receives information of a position of the starting cutting point, and controls a displacement speed of the vertical displacement element and a first rotational speed of the motor to cause the starting cutting tooth to first cut at the starting cutting point.

BAND SAW

A handheld band saw includes a saw blade, a housing having a deck surrounding the saw blade, and a handle coupled to the housing and configured to be grasped by a user during a cutting operation. The deck includes a mounting hub extending from the deck. A motor is supported by the housing for driving a drive wheel spindle. The handheld band saw further includes a drive wheel assembly including a drive wheel driven by the drive wheel spindle and a driven wheel driven by the drive wheel via the saw blade. A bearing supports the drive wheel for rotation on the mounting hub. The mounting hub includes an aperture through which the drive wheel spindle extends.

BAND SAW

A band saw including a housing defining a longitudinal axis, a motor, a battery pack removably coupled to a central portion of the housing, a drive wheel assembly positioned within a deck portion of the housing, an opening defined within the deck portion, an endless saw blade, and a rear handle having a curvilinear shape with a first handle end coupled to the central portion and a second handle end adjacent to the deck portion. The rear handle defines a curved path extending between a first end point at the first handle end and a second end point at the second handle end. A first tangent line is tangent to the curved path at the first end point and extends parallel to the longitudinal axis. A second tangent line is tangent to the curved path at the second end point and extends perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.

QUICK RELEASE FASTENER FOR A BAND SAW

A quick release fastener is provided for a hand-operated band saw with a saw band run on wheels in a housing, which has a base tray and a hinged lid and on which there is a handle. The handle is fixed to an upper angled edge of the lid and located below the handle there is a spring-loaded handle bar with two bent ends. The one end is fixed at the edge of the lid and the other end engages in a groove in the base tray through a recess in the edge.

MACHINING APPARATUS AND MACHINING METHOD

According to one implementation, a machining apparatus includes an electromotive saw and an attaching structure. The electromotive saw cuts off a workpiece to be machined. The attaching structure attaches the saw to an arm of a robot. Further, according to one implementation, a machining method is provided. In the machining method, a machined product is manufactured by processing a composite material or a honeycomb structure with a cutting tool attached to an arm of a robot. Further, according to one implementation, a machining method is provided. In the machining method, a machined product is manufactured by processing a workpiece to be machined with a cutting tool attached to an arm of a robot. The workpiece is processed along a shape of a jig for setting the workpiece. The workpiece is processed with contacting a guide with the jig. The guide is attached to the arm.

Band saw

A band saw including a housing, a motor, a drive pulley configured to receive torque from the motor, and a plurality of driven pulleys rotatably coupled to a plate, in which the plate is coupled to the housing for sliding movement. The band saw further includes a cavity within the housing and located between the drive pulley and the plurality of driven pulleys and an endless saw blade wrapped around the drive pulley and the plurality of driven pulleys. A first of the driven pulleys is rotatable about a first axis oriented perpendicular to the plate. A second of the driven pulleys is rotatable about a second axis that is obliquely oriented relative to the plate to impart a twisting movement to the saw blade about an oblong path defined by the saw blade, prior to the saw blade passing through the cavity.
